We had the most amazing time on the Kanchenjunga circuit trek with Dinesh and Tira. They were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating and always up for fun - may that involve adventurous detours or spontaneous snowball fights. Myself & 3 friends booked the Gokyo Ri 9 day trek including Helicopter return flight with Ram at Nepal Gateway Trekking (NGT). We all arrived from different countries, which NGT managed and collected us from KTM airport. Our trip was to fly o Lukla via plane BUT the weather caused some initial delays. Our group had limited time to complete the trek, so we asked Ram at NGT to look at options to ensure we didn't get delayed. NGT did all they could to ensure we managed to have some options. We decided to charter a helicopter to get us started to Lukla. This alleviated any delays and we could get started. Overall the trek was amazing, and this is down to the guide Raj & the porter team provided. We were glad we chose the Gokyo trek over Everest base camp, it was much more scenic and less busy. I found the accommodation & food was better than expected, with availability of showers & WIFI almost at every stop we made. This trek was made amazing by Ram & Raj at NGT......I'm more than happy recommending Nepal Gateway Trekking!!

I had an incredible 8-day hiking experience to Gokyo Ri with Nepal Gateway. The breathtaking views left me speechless, but it was our guide, Raj, who truly made this journey exceptional. Amazing company, ran by even more amazing people. I have recently completed the everest three passes trek with nepal gateway and honestly I was blown away by how seamlessly the whole trip went. From start to finish this company was amazing, from the beautiful hotels they provide to the amazing guides and local knowledge they have is outstanding, alot better than the western organized tours. The benefit off nepal gateway isn't just your supporting the local people but the connections they have are endless, due to there being no flight from lukla for the last 5 days a helicopter was arranged easily by Ram one of the company owners, I was actually put on a helicopter before many people in western groups who had been waiting for days to get a helicopter due to the company's well regarded status and local connections in the trekking industry, the price I payed for the trek was a lot lower compared to the western operators and the service from what I seen was far above the standard of service the western organizations provide while trekking so don't let the price scare you to think it's a cheap knock off product because it isn't, it's a top tier trekking company with amazing staff all round from the organizers like Ram in kathmandu who is amazing to the guides and sherpas they provide who are all knowledgeable and amazing at what they do. My only piece of advice is to look no further and book with Nepal gateway trekking as I had the best 19 days of my life with them and you can too, I cannot recommend my guide enough too. His name is Nabin and is young and very enthusiastic with his work, we grew to be very good friends by the end of the trek and was always smiling and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my experience so much I've already booked another trek with them, so it's a 1,000,000 out of 10 for me for Nepal gateway and their amazing organization and staff🤙🏻

The Langtang Gosaikunda Lauribina Pass Trek was the trip we did and it was the most rewarding experience I have had, it was very enduring with a lot of altitude gain and moderate to rough terrain. The outlook is a blend of stunning scenery mixing endless snow capped mountains, deep forested valleys visiting cute timeless villages. Staying in authentic tea houses hosted by beautiful people made the end of each days journey a delight. This holiday was certainly the adventure of a lifetime for me I enjoyed the entire journey and we are planning a return trip. We had fantastic adventure led by Raj back with Biru. I highly recommend Raj and Nepal Gateway Trekking, they are very welcoming, lovely people to be friends with and a very professional well run company.

My 16 year old son and I just spent 2 weeks in Nepal organised by Nepal Gateway. All in all it was a wonderful experience, Ram was super easy to deal with, very reasonably priced and our guide was fantastic. In the past I have organised my own treks in Nepal but this was a much easier way to do it, thanks Ram. Highly recommended.

Right from my first inquiry email till the end of the trek, everything was well answered and properly arranged. My stay in Nepal was better than what I had expected. My son, Paul and his partner Carlene and I went to Nepal 26 December and returned 5th January. Thanks to Raj our guide we had a fantastic holiday which included helicopter trip to Everest Basecamp, visit by jeep and trek to Balthali village and on returning to Kathmandu we then travelled down to Chitwan jungle for 3 nights...the most enjoyable experience of our lives!! We completed the Annapurna base camp trek with this company and it was a truly outstanding experience. Ram was quick and helpful in his communication with us prior to the trip, always responding within 24hrs. He had also honoured our deposit we had paid when we originally booked the trip back in March 2020. We were lucky to have Anjan as our guide and Prakesh as our porter. They were both highly capable and very positive throughout. Anjan's knowledge as an experienced guide meant that he adapted our itinerary to suit our pace and always booked the best accommodation possible. He also shared his knowledge about Nepalese culture when he guided us around Pokhara for a day. Prakesh's strength and enthusiasm was admirable. I can't recommend this company enough and we will definitely use them again if we ever compete the Everest base camp trek!

We used Nepal Gateway Trekking for our independent trek around the Manaslu and Annapurna circuit. We have never used a company before for trekking but Manaslu circuit requires it. From the very first email, Ram was quick to reply with excellent information and advice. I had many questions and they were all answered and I felt very well supported during the planning of the trek. Our guide, Anjam, was attentive and friendly, always discussing the route with us and when plans needed to change due to weather, Anjam explained the options and ensured we were safe at all times. We could not have asked for a better guide, he was wonderful and is now a friend for life. We were also very happy with our porter, Soraz, who carried our pack with a smile every day. I booked a 9 day ABC trek through Nepal Gateway Trekking (NGT), and would like to share with the world about how great my experience was. I had met a man on my tour in Tibet who has been to Nepal for the last decade if not more. He was a trekking enthusiast who had a deep connection with the country and who has been using Nepal Gateway Trekking since its inception back in the early 2000s and who recommended me Raj for my travel needs. From the moment I met Raj, I found him extremely caring and considerate, understanding mine and my friends budgets and trekking needs (we're not hardcore hikers). We worked out a brilliant schedule and plan for our trek, Raj took the time out to listen to what we liked and didn't like, he offered options and when we didn't like something he would amend and adapt the plan to tailor to our demands. He was constantly in contact and delivered well thought out agenda's written down to the very last detail. He provided us with a guide/porter suitable for our age, who took the best care of us throughout our trek. We had such a great time on our trek that we even booked Chitwan and are now considering another small hike for our last few days in Nepal. Raj is a highly experienced individual, with a great enthusiasm for trekking and love for his country, he is conscientious and understanding, and delivers a professional service. Someone that you feel you can naturally trust instantly upon meeting. He has a calm air about him, a true Nepali in his approach to life. Our group of 7 enjoyed the 18 day (11-27 Nov) Everest Base Camp, Cho La, Gokyo, Renjo La trek in perfect conditions- clear sunny days with excellent views of Nepal Himalayas. In october 2012 it was the first time I was in Nepal. I made a trekkingtour to Everest basecamp and onto the top of Kala Pattar. The tour was perfectly orginized from our tour guide Raj. He took care that in our group everyone's dream came true to see the impressive and gigantic mountains of Himalaya the roof of the world. But it was also a wonderful lesson learning about the different and fascinating cultures of Nepal. In many conversations Raj made us familiar with tolerance and respect as part of Nepalian culture. For me it was an enduring experience today I still think about. I learned a lot and I am very thankful for this enrichment in my life. So I hope I'll come back soon to Nepal having a new trekking adventure learning more about the friendly people of Nepal and have more interesting conversations...of course with Raj.

Last year I have been first time in Nepal. It's long been my desire to see the mountains of Himalaya, get to know people of Nepal, to learn more about the culture, the living conditions and to feel this special hint when you are in the area of Himalaya. Our guide were Raj. He gave us a very impressive tour with uncountable emotions. After starting our tour we were imediately a large family and grew from day to day more together. Visited upper mustang - “The Forbidden Kingdom” - in July 2014. The entire trek was organized perfectly, with the best and most comfortable places to stay along the way, no lack of food and every need looked after. All the internet searches and pictures do not do justice to the hidden treasures of upper mustang - from the ever changing landscapes and sceneries to the secluded monasteries and towns reminiscent of something out of the middle ages. I chose this company because it is essentially a 2 man venture, and the person you pay is the same person who is with you the whole trip ( in this case Raj our guide) and hence you get a very personal experience unlike some big companies where the guide receives a fraction and you end up communicating and paying someone you dont know. I am already contemplating coming back as soon as possible to explore more of Nepal's beauty - and Nepal Getaway trekking will definitely be my means to do so.
