Best place to hang out with your friends. Cool servers and their hukka is really smooth and light. Their cocktails are also really good compared to others in this area. A bit pricey for I guess it's worth it.

Food is good Cream sauce pasta was yummy Momo was tasty Service was not at all good very unprofessional except. There rooftop restraunt was too good and the bartender there was very good and friendly- the hookah he made was awesome. Interiors are good but downstairs and rooftop. This place is located in the Flock hostel premises. Which is the best hostel in kathmandu.

I liked the location as it’s far from the hustle bustle of the city. Ambiance is great. I liked how they have designs and decorated the entire area. They have friendly staffs, and the way they take orders are efficient. Parking space is limited. Four wheelers should be parked somewhere else. Taste of food is okay. Few items ordered were really disappointing. The special pizza, mushroom cheese momo, and the cake. I enjoyed starters only. I appreciate the food aesthetics. $$$, no tax and service charge

Great place for small and large groups. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food is great and reasonably priced. The ambiance and lighting are great for pictures. Worth the money.

This place is genuinely amazing. Carpe Diem Lounge is a three story open air treehouse-esque cafe, bar and restaurant. On weekends there is even live music… and the band I saw perform was genuinely better than the headliners performing at nearby Purple Haze (Nepal’s premier rock venue) the same evening. And the food is great! Try the momos and chicken tikka pizza ;) The staff is young, friendly and super helpful as well. Ask for Dipendra at the lounge! The attached Flock Hostel is outstanding as well: perhaps the best hostel I’ve stayed in anywhere (and largely because of the Carpe Diem Lounge).

The ambience of this place is unreal. Such a cool design with multi level seating. Very comfortable and the service staff are exceptional, polite and attentive. It was my first time here and l really like the whole layout. Unfortunately on my Buddha Bowl expedition in Kathmandu l was sadly disappointed by their Buddha bowl. First of all it was very small and you could literally count the amount of food ingredients in the bowl like I’m not kidding. Yes it was presented in a very nice way tho this is hardly a Buddha bowl. It was just a very light salad at its best. Another thing was the avocado was rock hard. There was not even one of the following brown rice/ quinoa or soba noodles in the bowl at all. A Buddha bowl is a more balanced meal ( rather than a salad) that contains a grain product, a protein product ( a tablespoon of tofu also doesn’t count 🧐) plus a range of vegetables which were there tho in very small quantities. Come on guys, if you want to advertise such dishes then I’d suggest to look into making them correctly. It’s all very nice to have a wonderful establishment tho if food is served in minimal sizes @top prices and not made properly then the establishment is only ever 1/2 way there….

A great place to eat! It’s right in/next to Flock Hostel which makes it’s so easy for guests. I was here in the off season and they staff were phenomenal, catering to all my requests, the service was quick and the food also very good. They have a wide range of foods to pick from which is also great. They do live music some nights which was a vibe as well. Would recommend coming here.

There is no argument that Carpe has the most cozy ambiance and with their exquisite taste and unique Menu, this place stands apart from the rest. Their variation of choices go from Bakery items to the best in the city Hukkas to wide choices of food items which I personally have never found in any other places. The price certainly does justice to the standards of the food and their ever helpful staff always make sure that you have a great time in your every visit. Highly Recommended!

Good ambience and good service. Food was also really good the only thing is location is little inside but not difficult to go. I liked the space . the taste and presentation of food was also really good i personally enjoyed the place. i specially loved the variety of fresh juices that they offered. Price was also according to the quality and service. It was okay. Hanging out with friends is exciting here . Would surely visit again . Newly designed space. parking space for both bikes and cars online payment also available .

Great place went there about a year ago for the first time. Thenafter I have been there a couple of times. The ambience is great. Food taste is awesome. Staff and employees are great. Live music in the evening is much better

I stayed at the flock hostel and this restaurant is attached to it. Great food from the breakfast to dinner… perfect to recover in kathmandu after a long EBC trek, and the waiters like Suman are all very nice!

Such a lovely dinner with amazing service. Had our own little room up top with lovely fairy lights. Big food choice - everything we had was lovely. Service was so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely evening thank you!

Very good staff, all of them are attentive and friendly - but especially the manager Dipendra, always ensures the experience is top notch. Atmosphere is great and away from noise/pollution and is great for events or hanging out, or working on labtop or computer earlier in the day when not so busy. Only issue to me is menu is not ideal as it lacks many vegan-friendly options and doesn’t have any for breakfast. Food is high quality and fresh though. Basically restaurant is #1 or #2 in Kathmandu for both vibe and service, but needs some menu changes

It was next to a hostel. Food is quite expensive here. You could enjoy live music at night. There were 3 levels in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful here. Visa paywave was available here but 2.5% more service charge would be needed

Had the buddha bowl. They warned me about the avocados. It was unripe and a little bitter. Maybe could have the options to change it to another fruit. Still very fresh and tasty. Nice lounging area on the third floor. Very attentive service.

Located in thamel but it's very secluded. It is a quite place dine as the compartments are architecturally separated in the top floor where as the lower floors seem normal. The overall ambience of the place is good. The food is also good but we have had better than here. The place seemed a bit pricey in comparison to the quality and taste of the food. There is not adequate parking space. If you are bringing four wheeler then you will have to park elsewhere.

Food is not that great... But you will love the ambience.

The ambience is amazing. Have been here more than thrice and the atmosphere is always calming and peaceful. The background music blends in with the surrounding and doesn't feel too heavy in the ears. Talking about the food, every thing was awesome. The chicken Tikka nanza is a must have with authentic tandoori taste and adequate amount of cheese. The chicken 65 was spicyyy. Although they said we can choose the sipcy level, we weren't asked for our preferred spicy level and it was hot 🥵 The buff jhol momo was good. The jhol has similar taste to that of local jhol momos and the momo pieces are big and fulfilling.

Place is a bit distance from the main road and there are no signs or markers on its way & is difficult for cars to navigate. Decent parking for bikes.
