It is one of the best cake you will find in kathmandu. I really like the carrot cake from here. Red velvet is also nice. The place itself has a very nice ambiance. Price wise, it is above average of what others cake places usually charges. Update: In my recent visit, i found the cake 🎂 ( carrot and red velvet) no longer like it used to be. The cakes didn't have texture in taste but only too much sugary feelings. Feeling bad about the best cake place in town.

Waste of money! Tried carrot cake, red velvet cake and hot chocolate. Hot chocolate was okay-ish but those cakes.... So dry and sugary. We actually had to throw it away

Positives: - Cheese cake is the best out there. You should definitely try it. - Nachos are good as well - The ambience is good. It has both indoor and outdoor seatings. Negatives: - Expensive! I honestly felt like the prices are a bit higher than what I would expect it to be. - Limited menu: I could not find enough choices in the menu. All in all, a good place for a quick hangout. And do not forget to try their Cheese cake. You will return happy. :)

I’ve been coming here on and off for more than half a decade now and just realized that I’ve never actually left a review. The place is amazing. Best cheesecake in town - hands down. My new favorites from a recent visit were the meatball sub, fish and chips and the chicken chilly. To the owners/operators, if you see this - the whole name change and directions on google map leading to another street has been a cluster to direct new leads to your place. You might want to attend to that.

food was pretty good!! all the main courses we ordered tasted very yummy with a good balance of flavours. only thing is the beef was definitely not ‘medium rare’ as ordered. seasoning & sauces still made it taste rly good tho! especially loved the grilled fish :). the cheese cakes & tiramisu were jus average

I reached here basically for the cheese cake and I was not disappointed. The place is basically average for asthetics and looks however has a good food. A bit expensive for its location and food. The service was pretty fast and rest of the food was also good.

An old place, went there after maybe 13-14 years. The place looks trendy, with an appreciable crowd eating there. The place also looked comfortable for people waiting for someone who’s at one of the clinics there. There are two clinics there, one eye clinic and another skin clinic, and those clinics also looked like quite popular. The food in imago was ok, the cakes were rather good. There is a parking space, but it is a pay parking, even if you visit one of the clinics or the cafe.

Had gone for lunch & loved the setting- thankas, Ganesh statues, paintings but the food ahh not good. In fact same base was used for two different dishes. Chef gotta pull up your sleeves & give better service. Parking great.

Loved the details. Food was good. They make nice Omelette. Coffee was good too. Servicing was slow. I had to ask the waiter for order for like 10 mins. Bill took around 20 mins.

Never disappointed when I stop at Cafe Imago. We’ve got birthday cakes, cupcakes, cookies, breads, cheese cakes there over the years, it’s all fresh and delicious. The employees are friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable.

WORST HOT CHOCOLATE FOR AN EXPENSIVE PRICE! I HAD SO MUCH EXPECTATION FROM THIS PLACE .. SERVICE NOT GOOD ALSO HOT CHOCOLATE WATER JUST POWDER AND HOT WATER, SO BLAND !! I never leave my food , this was the first time I left something with just 1 sip. It was that bad, if I could, I’d get my money refunded !

The best place for cheese cake and chocolate cream pie. Besides that I really enjoyed their this red curry and grilled chicken salad.

I ordered fish and chips to go and I expected proper fish and chips since it's priced at Rs. 990. And this is what I got (pic attached). 3 pieces of oily and soggy fish cutlets with barely any chips. The tartare sauce was also a bit too sour. This was a very unsatisfying meal and way too overpriced for what it is.

Very relaxing and cozy,great location…could stay whole day..nicely decorated by rare original art collections.

Good food, calm vibes

The location is the same but the food isn't. The quality of the food isn't what it used to be prior to Covid. Cafe Imago still has amazing cheesecake and a cute ambience.

Had a tertible experience just now. I asked the server/manager whoever he is- the dude weaing a pink shirt-- about the chocolate cake. All i wanted to know was whether it was rich chicolate or had this "floury" taste that you find in chocolate cakes in Kathmandu. And the dude was rude to say the least and on top of that as i turned around to walk, this guy chuckled mockingly and triumphantly. The place used to be quite good with courteous staff back in the days, but now it seems its become one hellish place.

One of the best places for CHEESE Cake in K town. I was planning to take a photo after a bite. Then realized, I ate it all, so no photo. Go and try out for yourself.

I have always loved this place.. From the service and to the quality of food dished out,keeps bringing me back to this awesome place.. and the "Cheese Cake" here has its own cult following..

Just ordered cheese cake, red velvet and brownnie. The quality has degraded and all three cakes does not taste good. The cheese cake has a peculiar smell; red velvet cake is extremely sweet; and the brownnie is stale. In the past, the cheese cake was the best and I have quite often visited and ordered. They have given reasons not to order in the future.

Cafe Imago has the best cheesecake in Kathmandu. It is quite expensive though, costing around Rs. 500 for a single slice of a 3 pound cheesecake. You can also order a whole cheesecake, with an option for 1 pound and 3 pounds. If you live outside of Nepal, and are currently a visitor in Kathmandu and craving for a cheesecake that is close to New York style cheesecake in taste, this is the one for you.

Owner has collection of Himalayan Arts. Location is good. Food is fine. Service can be improved.

I recommend this place in terms of location, crowd, parking, food, service, staff. So I give 5 star.
