Really liked the thakali here. Naan was also really good. Ample parking space for both two and four wheelers. One thing that I didn't like was waiters waiting to clean the table. I had just put the napkin down after using it and instantly they came from behind and picked it up. It was like they were watching me put it down and pounced on it as soon as it was put down.

Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food!!! Overall a very unforgettable memory. The toilets are kept clean at all times and this is one of the few restaurants with shiny clean toilets. There is an option to sit outside or inside. Oh and you can get draught beers here!!! Highly recommended!!!

The best part about this place has to be the atmosphere it houses. The space is wide and filled with plants. Although being near such a busy road, the only sound you hear inside is birds chirping. It was truly an escape. Another plus is the huge parking lot. The menu here is among the most creative i've seen, you can really see the amount of innovation that went into crafting it. That being said the food felt just ok and the pricing is a bit on the expensive side. The service is good, quick and attentive even though the place was almost full.

Initially, when I was there for 1st time, I was very amazed to see the Natural Ambiance in the Walnut Bistro Surroundings. The staff has shown very Honesty, Respectful and Politeness towards Customers. Thank you specially for the Uniqueness and Delicious Food to the entire team of Walnut Bistro. It made me very special while tasting the unique taste that I've ever tasted. Hope, to be there very soon again and try the unique and delicious foods more and more.

A perfect place to have “thakali” food. What an impeccable service and spot on food taste. 👏 Had ordered Chicken Thakali Set and what a taste 👅 just wow 🤩 The price was also reasonable for the items served as you get sweet dish and lassi as well which normally other similar eateries don’t offer. The ambiance was also very good and relaxing 😌 All in all a much and must needed place to visit for me and usually I do not suggest people to “go” but this is on my list. Take my recommendations guys 🙏

The place is very green and comfortable. Once you are here the ambience will simply take over. It's a small outdoor restaurant with a difference. The food quality is good and the staff is also super friendly and helpful.

Very Nice ambience. Very Relaxing. The Music choice is really good with the settings of the place, which is very delightful. And the service from the staff really good, friendly. I forgot few names. Prakash and other female staff they were good, polite and quick with their service. And the food, it was yummy n delicious. Definitely recommend for others to dine in.🥰

Some of the best food I've ever eaten. The poleko chicken was out of this world. Also other items were really upto the mark. Butter chicken was a bit average though, overall it was really good. A bit pricey but the food lives upto the price

Very well decorated and great sitting arrangements. Cost wise also moderate. Service is quick and various food options are available. Out with of several items I tried Nepali Khana tarkari ( mutton set) And it was so delicious. All side dishes are just fab. It reminded me of home cooked food back in my country. Highly recommended for casual or family dinning.

Plant lovers out there, please pay it a visit. It's ambiance was wow- we went there for breakfast, they didn't had many options for breakfast, however the chicken sandwich and tea was the best. Worth it. Coming back. 🙌

Great corporate lunch box. I'm vegan so it's pretty challenging to avoid cheese and dairy products in the corporate lunch boxes available (they are usually vegetarian). Walnut Bistro has catered to my needs. I've been having their lunch box for approx 2 weeks and each day the food is freshly cooked, good selection , really tasty, delivered on time and 100% vegan. Fully satisfied with their offer and will continue ordering onwards.

Nice outdoorsy ambience, well decorated. Staff are very friendly. Enough parking space! Food was good. We tried the special poleko chicken which was juicy. The corn in a cup was unique and cheesy, the way I like it. Mushroom pizza was good,although the crust wasn't very thin, they were magnanimous with the cheese. Chicken satay was ok, juicy and better than most nepali restaurants, they did have peanut k the sauce but wasn't sweet. Cheese balls were good. Mutton was well cooked and tender. All in all, good place.

We came here for dinner and were not disappointed! First of all, we were greeted by the manager (maybe even owner? We are not sure) who treated us very politely, explained the menu, gave recommendations and really did his best to make us feel welcome. On one hand, the restaurants has a very Nepal classic menu with items available in most restaurants, on the other hand they have very specific and unique items that caught our interest. The food was delicious definitely recommended! We were also encouraged to order the special baked dahi for dessert which was super tasty and definitely was worth ordering! The ambiente is beautiful, it's large with different areas, lots of plants which makes it cozy. Just one criticism: 100 rupees for a water bottle is a huge rip-off, sorry, especially if they just come to the table and open the bottle without being asked. I miss the times when normal water from the jar was a standard! It's so much extra plastic waste, but most restaurants charge between 40-60 rupees which I can live with, but 100 for a water bottle, sorry no. That is not acceptable. Everything else was really, really good! We will definitely visit again.

Being honest, i find walnut finest place to have food in kathmandu. Ambiance is a top notch with the feel of nature because of its lots of indoor plants . Very Children friendly with kids zone, adequate parking and a very noise free place in between the hustle and bustle of maharajgunj. Good food for the price it charges. Cup in the corn is the best dish i enjoyed here.

A great place for parties or even just for a good lunch/dinner. Went there a couple of times to celebrate birthdays with my family. Loved the snacks and food quite a lot. Also, the ambiance is quite relaxed and natural like and it is a very pocket friendly place. Staff was quite friendly and also went out of their way to help us with some of the decoration for my niece's birthday.

The Good- Loved the Place. Open Ambiance with green plants to accentuate the restro. Sherpa and 12Singhe on Tap... Good food... Helping and Polite Staffs. Thumbs Up. Muttin pakku was done good. The Not So Good- I found The Beer on TAP to be Outrageously Expensive. RS 800/- for a Glass of Domestic Beer seems a bit too stretched. I hope the admin does something regarding this.

The place is expensive. The pricing are too high for everything and the ambiance is basically a bungalow converted into restaurant. However talking about food i wouldnt say it was worth the money as per the taste and service was hell slow. I tried their khana set, they things they provide in thali is great, it has everything. I liked the desert and how they also provide mohi. But apart from that it didnt taste well. The daal looked terrible and tasted too bland. The chicken curry was fine but i cant call it a nepali style curry. It was kindof sweet and had a hint of cheese. Not worth it for the price i would say. Also the ambiance was not soo pleasing. Only reason i am giving two stars if they have happy hours
