Absolutely love everything about the hotel. Right from Check-in, the clean and excellent rooms and bathroom, comfortable beds, water bottles, location, staff and the owner. Absolutely love the place. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting Kathmandu and planning to stay in Thamel.

Visiting Kathmandu from Canada, I had a perfect 7 day stay here. The staff went above & beyond (especially Suja who works at the front reception). The room was spacious, the bathroom very clean and the rooms are very well priced for what you get. The location is excellent, right in Thamel with lots of good food spots and cafe’s nearby. You can get a pathao (Taxi) easily to all major spots. Breakfast included, amenities like water, laundry.

The hotel is impeccably clean , rooms are a nice size, the budget friendly hotel is situated perfectly in Thamel. Centrally located easy walking to shopping & restaurants, but in a quiet spot. The best part is the staff, Rabin & Cushy make you feel like family! A set menu of 3 choices for breakfast, food is tasty & simple, will be bringing a tour group here , Fab dinner across lane at Graveaty, a bonus.

Very good and friendly service. We didn’t book in advance and they always found a solution respecting fair prices. Nice area because it is located in a quite street within the heart of Thamel. The bed is very very comfortable

Mr Rabin and the owner were very polite and helpful. We were provided free pickup and drop to the airport! Very helpful and friendly staff who go to great measures to ensure guests are comfortable. An understanding and trouble free place. Breakfast is very good. Will definitely be checking in here again 😄 10/10 If you are staying in Kathmandu this place is highly recommended.

The hotel is tucked away just off of a main road in a safe area of town, which makes it accessible but quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. What really makes this hotel stand out from the others is the staff. They were genuinely friendly and helpful with everything. Rabin was there during most of our stay and I don't know if I will ever encounter a nicer person at a hotel.

Located in a very peaceful street of Thamel but at the same time very central. The room was elegant and very spacious, with a modern bathroom and boiling hot water always available. The staff and especially Raveen was very helpful and warm. Perfect for a couple to have intimacy.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. sie haben uns bei allen Fragen und Planungen geholfen! Super Lage in einer Seitenstraße, kein Lärm aus der Stadt zu hören, trotzdem schnell im Geschehen. Tolle Terrasse auf dem Dach. Haben auch gleich hier für die Tage nach unseren Trek gebucht!! Die Wand und Tür zwischen Zimmer und Bad besteht aus Glas und die Tür ist nicht abschließbar. Das war zumindest für uns mit Teenager nicht so ganz toll…

One of the nicest places to stay in Kathmandu for reasonable price. This whole street has nice hotels on it. Rooms are really nice and modern with proper shower and western toilet. Breakfast included is good and staff super friendly with any requests you have! Recommend

This is a brand new hotel. Wifi is strong, hot shower is available, breakfast is delicious and the room and bed is perfect! The interior design and decoration is on point. After a 12-day hike to the EBC, I stayed at Maya for 5 nights. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I arrived very early in the morning and they made sure an early check-in was possible. Also, they offered me to enjoy the breakfast the morning of arrival, even though I didn't sleep (and paid) for this that day. The rooms are decent and clean. Comfortable beds and a very hot shower. Breakfast was a combination of a buffet and freshly made omelets, or eggs any style, pancakes, etc. The location is very convenient, many good restaurants are at walking distance and it's located in the heart of Thamel. But the good news: it's very quiet! Long story short: highly recommend this hotel

Rooms are cosy with modern washroom provided with all the working amenities like AC for winter/summer, hair dryer,Tv,Water boiler. Provided with bottled water, tissue & Toilet papers. Rooms are clean & new. The staff are cheerful, well behaved & professional. Rabin at the Reception makes sure to interact well with guests & serve well . He & all staffs are very welcoming & warm at gesture. Breakfast you get 3 options which is Good in quality & quanity. Overall a Great place to stay if you are visiting Kathamndu. I would also suggest to visit Bagaan thakali resturant near the hotel like 500meters from hotel which offers best Thakali authentic lunch/dinner at best afford prices of 400-500 Nepalese currency. Tried most of thakali in Kathmandu. They offer the best authentic taste. You can look for it on the Google map. Keep up the Good work. Have a nice one.

We stayed at Maya Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu for a few nights this October. It was easy to find and to book from Romania, they wrote us and we planned ahead all the details of our arrival. When we checked in, we discovered a very friendly and respectful staff, clean, spacious rooms equipped with all the necessary items as towels, hygiene products, hair dryer, mosquito repellent, bottled water and so on. The included breakfast is really good and they have plenty of options to choose from. When it comes to payment they accept all the major cards or you can pay in cash. The price for one night is more than okay - average or slightly below average for Thamel area. A great place with great people, they offer good quality services for fair prices. Update: we left some luggage in storage for 19 days while we went trekking. There were no extra costs and when we returned we found it safely and well kept. This completed our really great experience with this accommodation.

During our three-month stay in Nepal, Maya has become the place we always come back to when we are in Kathmandu. Spacious, clean rooms, wifi, a nice rooftop terrace, a good breakfast - but what stands out for us are the guys working there who are not just polite but very genuinely friendly and make us feel comfortable and welcome everytime we come back. They are always doing their best to help with anything we need. We left some of our stuff there when going trekking at no extra charge and they helped us find a cheap jeep to Phaplu when our flight to Lukla was cancelled. We also like the location - it's in Thamel but in a more quiet side street. Highly recommended!

These two young kids here are doing an amazing job managing everything and keeping everybody happy! I 100% recommend this place, rooms are super nice and clean, shower is amazing and breakfast is also good. Was a great place to relax after a long Himalayan trek 🤙

Amazing value for the money!!! Rooms were very clean, staff were very hospitable, and breakfast was filling. Also loved that the hotel is a little tucked away from the main road, but still a very short walk to thamel. Located near a reliable ATM and convenience store also. Laundry service was very affordable and all of our clothes came back accounted for and in good condition! They offer free luggage storage for trekkers as well. Would definitely come back!!

This is the best hotel you can find around the lovely city of Kathmandu, Nepal. Highly recommended!!! The rooms are spacious, beautiful and super clean (they make sure to clean it every day). They also provide towels and water which is appreciated. The breakfast is so yummy! Perfect to start the day. Also, the staff is the best part. They are great. They make you feel like at home, and make sure everything is alright. They are so helpful! Fantastic hotel in a quiet location. The staff are incredibly helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and it's in the heart of thamel. The staff even went above and beyond to ensure they not only booked a tourist bus ticket on my behalf, but also provided me with a packed breakfast, and luggage storage free of charge. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu. You won't regret it.

The front desk wes extremely helpful and friendly. Personally I would have preferred more options for breakfast however they provide good basic English breakfast. I will definitely come back to stay here. The location is superb as it is within the city center, Thamel which has lots of restaurants, bakery, shops . However, it may not be easy to find if you are first time there as Thamel area has many small lanes. Luckily, the hotel owner has given his mobile number in the hotel website and also has whatsapp connection (free calls!) , I called him and he immediately arranged to pick me and my husband up to his hotel at the appointed time punctually. Once you are there, it is quite easy to find your way and walk around the city. Our hotel room on the 3rd floor is quiet as the hotel is off the main streets. Hotel facility is simple but clean and comfortable. We wanted hot water in our room and the staff sent us a flask of hot water immediately. They also served us coffee and tea at lobby area anytime at our request. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful especially Sudeep and Deepa . They speak good English . Unlike the previous hotel we stayed in Kathmandu, the wifi connection in Maya Boutique Hotel is excellent.

A well preserved hotel in the heart of Thamel, KTM. Outstanding staff service, friendly, polite, immediately responsive and smiling. Surendra, Sudeep, Ram and Akhil are unique in creating the proper atmosphere and easing your way in the country. The rooms are spacious and cozy, including all the basic facilities required for a pleasant stay. Transfer service also offered. Cards accepted. Fast and trustworthy WiFi.

I don't usually write reviews but this hotel needs to be heard among the tourists. One of the best experience of my travelling journey. Good staff, perfect room space, clean, good wifi and wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Washroom was dirty and unmanaged. The soap pots were not running properly. And we weren’t not given any amenities except the hot water pot. It was a bad experience.
