The place is run by a very welcoming and friendly family and I highly recommend it. The location is great too, it is in a relatively quiet side street, but very central in Thamel.

We had a fantastic time! The staff was very friendly and caring, the owner and his family made us feel truly welcome. The hotel's food is freshly made and of great quality, you can see the kitchen and they're very hygienic. I'd recommend the breakfast that is included with the booking for it's complete and quite healthy, as can be seen in the picture I've attached. They were very attentive and helpful. For instance, I forgot my wallet on the hotel as we were leaving and they went out of their way to ensure I didn't lose the flight. As to the lodging, the rooms were spacious, very well decorated and comfortable. I wouldn't consider staying at any other place when I return to Nepal.

Scared Boutique Hotel is one of the best hotel I've ever seen in the thamel area because it has the best location where you'll find very peace and quiet environment. All the staff and even the owners are so friendly. They'll make you feel like that you're staying in your own home. I'll like to recommend everyone to visit here once when you'll come in Nepal.

Good value for money right in heart of thamel, but away from the main streets, hence quiet for night sleep. Morning rooftop breakfast good ... But it's exactly the same every morning, so you itch for some change after 2nd day. Courteous staff who can help with any travel arrangements (but do negotiate). Wifi decent enough for normal browsing. The hotel and rooms are a little older than what you see in their professional pics.

I've stayed in a variety of hotels in Kathmandu and I rate this one highly. They offer a very clean and comfortable venue, with great service in the perfect location. Prices are very reasonable too making this hotel great value too.

unfortunately this was not the best place to stay, especially breakfast was sub standard, I have never been to a place with such a small choice, butter and jam unlovely presented, hardly any juice, and we had one (1!) room service in a week, even for low budget you can do better

The secred exceeded expectations with its delightful menu and impeccable service. From appetizers to desserts, each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The cozy ambiance added to the overall experience. A culinary haven for those who appreciate quality dining!

Great hotel! It has perfect location and the best staff. Guys at the hotel are very nice, helpful and fun. It was a great please staying at this hotel. Rooms are good as well as breakfast. I also fell in love with the terrace on the top floor. It felt like home here and highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet street in Thamel! Rooms are comfortable and spacious, and even have heating, which is perfect for winter. Good hot shower, nice sunny terrace to relax and the breakfast is also good (great coffee!) and a lot! We stayed for 6 nights in total and could leave our luggage here when we went on a trekking. The staff is just the best! They helped us with getting from/to the airport and bus station, and when my boyfriend had an accident, they took him to the hospital. I would definitely come back to this place when staying in Thamel again!

Super nice hotel and kind staff. The localization is perfect, in Thamel, in a quiet and not noisy street. The rooms are clean and big. It has shower and a comfortable bed . I was there with my sister and I’m sure that we will repeat again this hotel. 🙋‍♀️🙏🏼

Terrible stay, I do not recommend it Firstly, the location is good. Close to Tamel. That's about it. I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and it was absolutely horrible. The rooms were nothing like the pictures. The air conditioner did not work and they said they would fix it but did not. The sheets and towels were dirty and stained and there were still things on the floor from previous guests. But the worst part was that we found bed bugs! We talked to the staff about it but they didn't do anything. On top of that, I discovered that my bedding had not been changed and was dirty. This hotel is definitely not a 3* more like a 0* with force. The rooms were tiny, old, dirty, and very dated. The walls were covered with stains. The nightly receptionist was not there when I went to check out at 5:30 am, even though I had been assured the night before that I could check out at any time. After 10 minutes of searching, I finally found the person asleep at his desk in the private area. I tried to wake him up. He was very rude when awakened and said he was not allowed in the private area. All the staff was seating on sofas and coffee shop area with mobile. They don't care who came and went. It looked like They were staying at their home. They were in sandals T-shirts and half paint.

Best Hotel We Stayed In Nepal. Great location on a quiet street but in Thamel. Close to shops and restaurants, walking distance to Durbar Square and much more. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast, hot shower, clean. Wonderful staff always kind and helpful. Speak English very well. Highly recommend.

This hotel is a great, cozy place to stay during your visit to Nepal. It is clean and welcoming. The staff are very pleasant and kind and speak very good English. The food is also a great highlight to the stay. The location is close to just about everything so you don't have to go far to do any kind of shopping or strolling. I highly recommend.

Location is on dead end street so no through traffic which made it quiet. Very good breakfast nothing is too much trouble for the staff who were very helpful. Family run hotel will definitely go back. Good reasonably priced airport pick up, book direct for best price.

The staff is outstanding helping with everything i needed. The hotel is very close to thamel but on a quiet street . Great night sleep on soft big bed with ac or heat. The hotel has recently been updated with excellent hot showers and good wifi. All the food i had was great . Beautiful antiques in the lobby from store next door.
