There has a Nice environment and good tea. I had pork Kaesudon here. Taste is good but pork is little bit hard. I'll try order chicken next time.

OMG! What a hidden gem! Very unassuming place. We found it while looking for our actually first choice. The service was phenomenal, people were kind. It appears to be a family-run business. The food was unbelievably tasty and great portion sizes. We ate and drank until we could no more, and ended up paying $7 per person. Will definitely visit again before leaving Kathmandu and highly recommend you do it too.

A hidden gem in Thamel. Above and beyond service to match the most delicious Japanese cuisine I have had in all of Nepal. I have been numerous times for dinner with tranquil outdoor seating hidden from the busy city streets. Highlights are the Mabatofu set and Nadu Chili Set. The veggie tenpura is also an unexpectedly delicious starter.

Kizuna was one of the best (if not the best) Restaurant's experiences I had in Kathmandu. The food was always fresh and exquisitely prepared, the portions always got me satisfied. The price is really fair for the quality of the food and the whole experience. The place is quiet (thing that, especially in Kathmandu, I really appreciate) and beautifully decorated. The stuff is extremely polite and friendly. Kizuna is a gem which still has to be discovered and recognised! I would definitely recommend this place!!!

I've eaten here two nights in a row. Nice quiet restaurant with good service. Went for the chicken teriyaki set twice; both consistently good with crispy chicken and a beautifully balanced and rich teriyaki sauce.

Excellent tempura and pork Katsu-Don. Hidden in a courtyard. Prices very reasonable for being in the heart of Thamel. There were some Japanese customers as well (always a good sign).

After you take a right into this small street you'll find a small space with tables and several stalls, don't go back like I did the first time! Follow the signs and you'll end up enjoying amazingly great Japanese food. Clean kitchen, fast service, great prices and very fresh ingredients, completely recommended.

Great little japanese restaurant located in a middle of a cute square. We ordered some vegetable tempura with roce and miso soup, it was just perfect and delicious. The staff was very friendly and food came promptly. We’ll be definitly going back when back in Kathmandu.

I liked the atmosphere here because the restaurant's location is a bit inside from the main road which makes it a bit peaceful. The food was also okay and not too pricey for Japanese restaurant standards. The service was also good and the waiter was very communicative and gave us correct info of the foods before we ordered. Would visit again to try other dishes.

A cozy little place to warm up your tummy and your heart. I have really only had the katsu don (chicken) which was amazing and will fill you right up. They serve some hot soup with tofu and a side of salad with the main dish. It is completely worth the price.

Food was ok. Tariyaki chicken was tasty bit a bit over cooked making it quite hard. Chicken katsu is not quite as the photo on menu (see my photo if you intend to order it ).
