Had a relaxing stay at Ramada, the hotel location is at a prime location. Initially its tough to locate as it's inside a secluded lane of Thamel streets ,but once your there at the hotel the stay is relaxing , cozy with good food and ambience. The roof top view is a add-on add to the evening picturesque of Kathmandu city.

We stayed here on the front and back end of our Everest Base camp trek. The rooms and hotel itself are very nice. The rooftop area is also a great spot. What makes this hotel stand out is the service. It is run and staffed by the friendliest, most helpful people. Everyone was personable, engaging, and willing to help at all times. When we return to Nepal we will without a doubt choose the Ramada as our hotel in KTM/Thamel

Make sure you check the room before checking in . Some rooms are nice specially with mini balcony. Some are horrible , you won’t be able to open the curtains for sunlight . They messed up my room booking and I found out after I went in . Had to wait for another hour to have it sorted and then move rooms again after they told me it’s the only available room. Luckily I booked through a local agent and he came and dealt with it but still I had to wait and delay my afternoon tour till close to sunset. Food is delicious and fresh The staff are nice though and kind and will do their best . Breakfast has nice varieties and open till 10 am Location is Perfect. Rooftop has a lovely view and open till late and room menu is also extensive . Good channels on tv and WiFi is good .

To begin, Hotel is in the heart of the city, a renowned market called Thamel. It is their biggest tourist destination. Place is surrounded by a lot of good and boutique hotels and so is Ramada Encore by Wyndham. The location of the property is good as mentioned its in their main tourist spot, hotel is small and my assumption is less than 70 rooms, 2 restaurants, A small gym, a tiny swimming pool ( not more that 4 people can actually fit in), A spa and some waiting area. Being in such a locality one can understand that you cant have a bigger or a grand hotel, although in Kathmandu I have stayed in Radisson and Soaltee which are grand properties. To be honest no issues with location, and hotel being small, the problem I could feel was the management which I felt was poor. Unfortunately, my experience wasnt that great the moment I checked in as the staff was not courteous, the rooms was not properly clean and had nothing in the bathroom so I had to request for everything, which is typically available in the hotels. Bedsheets and towels were really run down and had spots, I requested for a change and even the new ones had the same issues. Furniture in the rooms were again felt quite worn-out. Being in the market area you dont get much of a view from the hotel and either ways very small windows in the room. Morning breakfast had very limited options and the food wasnt upto the mark at all. The only best thing about the hotel was a roof-top cafe which looks stunning, although I did not try anything from there as i tested their breakfast menus which wasnt great, so didnt venuture the food . Overall, I feel and as mentioned earlier the problem was with the management their and the staff working their, The physical asset may only satisfy the customer to an extent but its the people who makes a big difference. This is a very professional review and nothing personal here, I am sure with such feedbacks the hotel management will improve so that the tourist can enjoy their stay.

I enjoyed staying here. The room was clean, staff were very friendly. The rooftop is really nice- lots of seating, a pool and a bar. The included breakfast has great variety and you can even order your own eggs. I took a tour with a company and everything had to be arranged through them rather than being able to just book the room myself which was a little frustrating. But overall, great experience. Thanks for the adorable artwork on my coffee Surenda!

This hotel deserves one more star. Location is perfect, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance from the happening thamel. Underground parking available. Very kind staff. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. No complaints about the rooms. The regular room sizes are ok and have all the amenities. Comfortable and firm mattress with TV perfectly positioned. Working chair with table and a coffee table with sofa all fit well in the room and is just perfect for 2 people. Bathroom is clean and well equipped. Shower is good with hot water. The air conditioner is good. Breakfast buffet was really good and very kind waiters. Will definitely come back here.

It is one of the best hotels in kathmandu for stay. Very professional, courteous, and cultural staff with beautiful welcoming Nepali greetings. Good rooftop restaurant, and they serve very good breakfast. In the close proximity to major shopping and restaurants in the area. Overall, it is the best place to stay in Nepal

I really like the rooms. I literally stay here every time I visit Nepal. Everything is so flawless. The bed feels like home, and the view makes me feel like I'm on top of the world. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I really like the food and other services they offer. I strongly recommend it to foreigners and travelers.

charge 5 star property but feel like 3 star property. Genuinely it should not b part of RAMADA. VERY SMALL PROPERTY. BUT IT IS IN D HEART OF D CITY. Not comfortable. RESTAURANT has only one man, who take ur order, serve ur food and also clean d table. No other person was to serve u. Very poor service. Very slow service. I m sorry, but can't suggest anyone to stay once. Find other good properties nearby in d same budget.

Stayed for 3 nights and found 5star facility and services at 4 star hotel. It was our marriage anniversary so they themselves upgraded our room. The front desk staff presented a beautiful cake and we cut with them. The moment was unforgettable. We will cherish this moment till life. Food quality, quantity and taste were awesome. We thanks to each and everyone of Ramada family who are directly and indirectly involved making THE RAMADA". All the best.

I stayed in room no . 314. During my stay it was amazing to stay in this property of ramada. I really love the rooftop bar and their hospitality service . Surendra take care of everything there . We tried local beers and rums and cocktails by Yuvaraj . Reena is my all time favourite host . She is the best of all . Thanks for making my stay better and memorable.

Our family with four children traveled in Nepal & stayed at three hotels in Katmandu. The Ramada was our favorite. It offered a quiet escape from the busy streets, alleys & sites of Thamel. The rooftop outside pool, restaurant & bar was our go to at the end of the day. The rooms are comfortable & the entire staff welcomed us each day, the breakfast buffet’s variety includes local foods & comfort food for the kids. Surendra went above & beyond & we became part of each other’s family.

Excellent all around. Rooms are spacious and very clean, nice bathrooms, mini fridge, complimentary water, tea and coffee. Quick checking in, very friendly staff Breakfast buffet is extremely good, with a large selection of food. Staff is attentive, especially Mr. Subendra. Roof top restaurant was very good, food was always hot and fresh and the drink menu was nice.

The location is perfectly good. Service is amazing. Staffs are friendly and professional. I have recommended 5 star service in Ramada hotel. I have travelled many 5 star luxury hotels however I feel more comfortable to be here. Thanks entire team for your amazing service with attention to details from C/I to C/O. I will be coming back in January again. Hope to see you soon.

We stayed here during our ongoing journey to Mukthianth. Ramada hotel is great property located in the mid of theThamel and very close to the shopping & restaurants around. The rooms are spacious and cleanly maintained. The staff are well behaved & trained. We had lunch and Dinner in this property. The food is tasty and delicious. They serve rice and currys in a small bowl which seems to be tooo expensive & not worthy. Parking also very little place and hard to drive in to cellar. The roof top views are amazing but the swimming pool is very small suitable for Kids only. overall we had a pleasant stay and thanks to Jyothi for making our stay memorable and comfortable.

As we reached the hotel we were shocked to see such a tiny entrance for a 4 star hotel. But as we stayed there we started loving the place. The staff was courteous and helpful from start till end. Special thanks to Nikhil, Neha and other team members. The rooms and service were nice. The location of hotel is best as it's in the middle of one of the biggest markets of KTM. You will find restaurants, shops, money exchange etc. nearby the hotel.

I few months ago had the pleasure of staying at Ramada Incore Thame, and I must say, it truly exceeded my expectations. This hotel stands out as one of the best in town, offering a delightful experience from the moment you arrive. First and foremost, the amenities at Ramada Incore Thame are top-notch. The swimming pool is absolutely fantastic, providing a refreshing oasis for guests to unwind and relax. Whether you're looking to take a leisurely swim or simply soak up the sun poolside, you won't be disappointed by the inviting atmosphere and well-maintained facilities. The hotel's commitment to quality extends to its culinary offerings as well. The food quality at Ramada Incore Thame is exceptional, and the morning breakfast is particularly noteworthy. From a wide selection of delicious dishes to attentive staff ensuring your dining experience is enjoyable, the breakfast is a fantastic way to start your day. You can expect a variety of options that cater to different dietary preferences, ensuring everyone finds something to savor. Speaking of the staff, their warm and attentive nature truly enhances the overall experience. The hotel's employees are friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your needs are met. Their dedication to providing excellent service is evident in every interaction, making you feel valued and well taken care of throughout your stay. The lobby area of Ramada Incore Thame is another highlight. It exudes elegance and provides a welcoming space for guests to relax or connect with friends and colleagues. The tasteful decor, comfortable seating, and a pleasant ambiance make it an ideal spot to unwind after a busy day or meet up with fellow travelers. In conclusion, I highly recommend Ramada Incore Thame as an exceptional hotel choice in the area. From the fantastic swimming pool and the inviting lobby area to the impressive food quality and attentive staff, every aspect of the hotel is designed to ensure a memorable and enjoyable stay. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel provides a comfortable and welcoming environment that will exceed your expectations.

Nice hotel. As others have mentioned, I was little opinionated about the quality, when I saw the entrance. But, the room and service was good, just like any other Ramada hotel.

Good part 1st. Located at the heart of thamel and z street which has good shopping spots and lively vibrant restaurants. Almost walking distance to all major shopping parts and restaurants and pubs. Service is quite poor. Rooms not properly clean. Breakfast spread is limited considering the brand. Even taxi service is poor. Consider a option only if wish to stay at a chain property and to be in heart of thamel.

Such a great location! Thamel market is the prime spot to be in if you're living in Kathmandu for a short time and want to explore the regional food/market/attractions. There's so many GOOD food options nearby! As for the rooms, they are spacious and have the right amenities though we faced a lot of issues with the keycard not working properly almost every single day which made us go down to the reception to reset them. The breakfast was overall good with assortments of Indian food with some western/regional items. Their travel booking associate was very helpful in booking our tours and cars during our stay at a competitive price. I'd say this is a great hotel overall to stay during your stay in Kathmandu.

Opting for a night's stay here was a wise choice, delivering an exceptional experience. Their breakfast was superb, featuring live omelettes and dosas, my favorites. The rooftop swimming pool offers a stunning night view. Moreover, their food is delightfully delicious.

This has been my one of the worst staying experiences, even though the location was very mesmerizing and eye catching but it an only be enjoyed when you're receiving a satisfactory hospitality. The staff has been very rude towards me and my companions, accusing us for the stuff that might not matter much for a normal hotel stay even though we are not guilty. So I would really advice you to look for another one nearby with good service.

Great location, good service and staff, we could leave our luggages during the trek. There is a gym you can use to train before the trek, a rooftop terrasse where you can eat at anytime and pool! Thanks to Ramada staff, we had a great stay!

Accessible to bars, restaurants, souvenir item shop, money changer etc. Hotel staff and crews were so kind, respectful and polite. Room services were also great. Very nice bedroom settings and clean. Thumbs up for everything 👍👍👍

Ramada Nepal is only for Westners... Indians are only second choice for them.... Rooms are not that convenient... If you expect same level of rooms / service available in other Ramada hotel chain... You mind stand to get disappointed

Such a nice place with great ambience. And definitely the food was good too. Though the price are quite high but it's worth spending while you're having an hectic day. As the view could easily freshen up any boring day.

We recently stayed at the Wyndham Thamel before and after an Everest Trek. The service was excellent, and the staff really went out of their way to accommodate us. The rooms were comfortable and a nice respite from the chaos of Thamel. Breakfast was terrific. The only (minor) flaw was a lack of late night room service.

Well appointed rooms. The Asian cuisine here is effortlessly amazing. I'm a fan of their nasi goreng ( the prawn crackers could get better though). The infinity pool is wonderful. Location is second to non. Housekeeping standards is extremely poor They need to focus on Staff training All in all, an extremely fine hotel property in Thamel. Highly recommend. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Good enough place to stay. Definitely value for money. Located in the labyrinthian district. Free WiFi. Tasty food in the restaurant. Small but well-placed infinity pool on the top with a tasty restaurant (UK prices - about £45 for two). If you want to eat locally and cheaply there is a local eatery 2 min walk from there. Bathroom is slightly outdated with water staying in after a shower. Hence 4 stars

Enjoyed my stay. Room was really nice and comfortable, the view from the roof is outstanding. Food is pretty good but I think is a bit overpriced (when compared to what you get elsewhere in Kathmandu). Would definitely recommend a stay. My only annoyance was being called and asked to ‘check out as check out is midday’….. when it was only 11.30

The Ramada has warmly decorated rooms, lobby restaurant, a cafe, and a rooftop Mediterranean bar and grill. From the roof top, you’ll get brilliant views of mountains, hills & Kathmandu valley. A rooftop pool with a sundeck and mountain views, along with breakfast. Enough parking. If you’re looking for best 4star hotel in Kathmandu, Thamel then this would be you best optio.

The rooftop restaurant is a gem. I. had fresh cught sizzling trout cook perfectly. No better view will you find, especially ay night with the glowing yurts and the lighted infinity pool.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Ramada Encore for our anniversary. The staff were so welcoming and polite. We were very impressed with the warm hospitality. Just little details such as remembering our drinks order, checking in if everything was alright, reminding us for breakfast all adds up as a great service. The food was amazing, the rooftop restaurant had great + relaxed vibes! We will definitely be back!!
