Hotel facilities were descent. We reached quiet late so good thing was there was someone to facilitate, sad part was we couldn't order anything (our bad). The apartment room was good enough to comfortably accommodate 5 people. The large bed was not so comfy, neatness and all were great. Breakfast was good too. And good thing about this hotel is you have to facility of Spa, Jacuzzi or Massage of their own. I took a Body Massage too and it was good. Good overall experience.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Beautiful hotel property. Family friendly. Views were stunning. Food was delicious, staff had a wonderful presence and the rooms were cozy and clean. We will definitely be back. Make sure to also book a massage!

Having stayed at this location was altogether a good experience, we enjoyed the spa, food and drinks . However, when we were away housekeeping used to come inside the room without our notification to the hotel staff to clean the room. One day we forgot our wallet in the room and went out and when we returned Nepali Currency notes were missing from the wallet. Please be careful on this while booking the hotel however the service provided and the facilities were very good.

Pretty good experience with the hotel regarding the staff and Ambience. They provided with very good decorations and room service and everything was beyond perfect. Would surely visit next time but with limited people. We booked a room for 5people but the room we got was not quite comfortable. As seen in online, the pictures, it was expectations vs reality for us.

I went to this hotel because of all the good reviews. I couldn’t sleep the whole night because something was biting me. First I thought it was mosquito but when I turned on the lights I saw a bedbug. I then informed the front desk, no action was taken & they were extremely rude. Never going back again.

The hotel it self is an average that is understandable because of the amount you pay. If you would like to stay for 2-4 days then it's good option otherwise it's better to go to other hotel. I booked deluxe room with balcony and it was okay, when we recived the room it was a bit dirty however when they clean it again it was okay. Toilet was dirty and there was not to much facilities. The balcony view was nice. That was the major good thing about the hotel. Service was terrible was pushing you to do anything to collect from you more money like they want to provide you with their transportation which cost double the price of outside. Also strange thing is they are always expecting from you to pay cash which is very strange attitude from the staff. So staff is not professional feels like you are dealing with local shop sellers. Location is quit Strange where you have to go inside alleys in order to reach the hotel. In order to reach to thamel you need to go in this dirt road to reach there you will be full of dirt and you might slip. And need to go cross crowded road, so it is a bit of hassle to get to thamel. Also a positive point is there is security in the hotel. For the breakfast there is not too much variety in the breakfast it is just simple breakfast nothing fancy not bad. My total experience here is 5/10.

Good hotel, attentive staff - Milan was very helpful, breakfast included fresh fruit, excellent coffee lattes, good milk. Room was good, AC worked well, balcony was nice. Sheets were reasonable quality and comfortable. Places to improve. Better and fresh towels. Towels are not up to standard of the rest of the hotel. More space to hang towels to dry.

great hotel for the price but incurred a few minor problems during our stay such as tap and bidet water having a sewage like smell and electricity being cut off randomly throughout the day. However staff were amazing and conveniently their restaurant and spa is right next door.

This was our second visit to this hotel we stayed in during our stay in Kathmandu, and it was definitely the best. The hotel was clean and had hot running water. It's a 10 minute walk to Thamel. The breakfast was great, especially the breakfast. Great value!😍

First impression: elevator is too small to fit two people properly. Front desk staff were nice. They booked a wrong room and had to change. Room: Pretty cozy but they need to work on cleanliness. The shower head was nasty, so the jet spray was. There were stains on the shower curtains and the tiles. Breakfast: it was decent. Room service: The room service staff were awesome and they were pretty responsive. Some of their staff need to work on politeness and their gesture. Allover, I recommend this place. It's in the heart of the city and the price was decent.

Hotel near the Thamel neighborhood but in a very quiet area, without noise. Spacious, very clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Close and friendly treatment. They welcomed us every day with a natural juice and a smile. Very attentive staff, especially the manager, very nice and pleasant, we had an excellent conversation with him on the restaurant terrace. Without a doubt, if we return to Kathmandu, we will repeat.

The room was very clean and they had hot running water throughout the day. The mattress was excellent and so was the bedding. It's a 10 minute walk to Thamel crossing a busy road but you get used to it. The breakfast was good and varied and the coffee was excellent! Great value!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Himalayan Suite, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the heart of Kathmandu, this hotel exceeded all my expectations, offering a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. First and foremost, the staff at Hotel Himalayan Suite were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing welcome drink. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff took great care in ensuring that all my needs were met throughout my stay. The hotel's design and ambiance were captivating. The architecture flawlessly combined modern amenities with traditional Himalayan influences, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere. The interior décor was tastefully done, with attention to detail that reflected the local culture and heritage. My suite was an oasis of tranquility. Spacious, elegantly furnished, and adorned with mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountains, it provided the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the region. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities offered were top-notch, catering to every imaginable need. Dining at Hotel Himalayan Suite was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant featured a diverse menu, offering both local delicacies and international cuisine. Each dish I sampled was masterfully prepared, and the ingredients were fresh, giving me a true taste of the Himalayas. The restaurant staff were attentive and provided excellent recommendations, ensuring a memorable dining experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's spa and wellness facilities. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, I indulged in a rejuvenating spa treatment that left me feeling utterly relaxed and recharged. The spa's skilled therapists and the serene ambiance enhanced the entire experience. Surrounded by lush greenery and historical places, it offered a sense of seclusion and peace that is rare to find. Yet, it was still conveniently close to the town center, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. The hotel's commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism was commendable. They had various eco-friendly initiatives in place, reducing their environmental impact and supporting the local community. In conclusion, Hotel Himalayan Suite exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The exceptional service, stunning location, luxurious accommodations, and delectable dining options made it a stay of a lifetime. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable Himalayan experience and I look forward to returning to this oasis of tranquility in the future.

Used to be a good hotel but not anymore. Understaffed, slow/late service and internet frequently disconnects making it unusable. Even basic items like cups, glasses were missing from the apartment style suites. Good location though.

Stayed a few nights between arrival in Nepal, before heading up to EBC via Lukla. The rooms were comfortable and clean, bathrooms were well kept but the best feature of this hotel were the spectacular room and balcony views. Receptionist Mila was wonderfully helpful and friendly, looking after our bags for us while we were gone. Overall very positive experience.

Good hotel with friendly staff. Kettle didn’t work and lighting in room was quite bright and harsh but a pleasant stay other than that.

Generally speaking, it would be fine, but there is one thing I want to express for the future travelers. My friends and I were not feeling comfortable because one male worker on the front desk with glasses were quite unhelpful and rude in some ways. So we will never come and stay at this hotel any more in Kathmandu. Especially the workers on the front desk could be the most important faces representing hotel to the guests arriving at hotel first time. I could feel sad they had some lack of training workers.

Very strategically and nicely located always try to opt for the top floors because there you can see the real Pokhara fhewa Lake view with mountains this hotel has every immunity in their rooms including bath tubs and fridge their rooms have two way balcony and it looks very nice always remember to add breakfast in the package it costs 1000 per room but you can eat all you want because breakfast outside is not that good and very costly and limited to order here you can enjoy as much you can eat

The staff's behaviour is soo rude. I didn't like it at all. In my time, the descision can be made in a very healthy manner but they used to behave like opposite and in a rude manner which unfortunately hearts us. Also, they were asking us for the payment of the room even we didn't check out. It was disgusting feeling, that we are running out from hotel without telling them...Need to improve the manners.

Himalayan Suite Hotel is the best quality hotel in Thamel city. The breakfast buffet, 24/7 service, room AC/heater, Cool or Hot Water and especially the site view from the room are great. Hotel Manager Binod Dhakal and Front Desk Receptionist Milan Lama are very nice and helpful people. They are serving guest with sincerity. All in all, the service of the hotel is great for me.

Would surely visit next time but with limited people. We booked a room for 5people but the room we got was not quite comfortable. As seen in online, the pictures, it was expectations vs reality for us. The rooms were dim because of insufficient light. However, would recommend the space if it's for 2-3 people going for a nightout or a refreshment. Not bad experience but was different from the way we expected it to be. Wanted to have spa experience but since the space was same for male and female we felt quite uncomfortable with it. There is lot of space for improvement.

This hotel is amazing. We spent 5 nights here. They have an incredible spa and massage located in the hotel. The food at the restaurent was also great. The hotel is very clean, affordable and in great location. It also seeme like a new property so the rooms were sizable and comfortable. I highly recommend this place in Kathmandu.

My 1st stay in the hotel was not a good experience but the 2nd stay - i was happy with the service(they have improved) beside this, the hotel is nice n clean(may be because it's new), all rooms with balcony so more suitable for family, they have good buffet breakfast, the foods in the restaurant are delicious, 'meat lover's pizza' is the 'MOST TRY' food, staff are always very helpful and friendly. Only the bad part is WIFI (hope it will also get better soon)

So so, at first glance the hotel looked nice, but in details it was slightly dirty and the not well repaired (eg., the bathroom) Their laundry service damaged my dress and they didn’t even offer me a discount The price to value is quite poor, with this fee per night I would expect much more (eg., broader offer at breakfast)

I spent my obligatory 10-day quarantine at Himalayan Suite Hotel when I arrived in Nepal in October 2021. I couldn't have chosen a better hotel for this! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the range of services is very good, prices are very affordable in relation to all the quality you get, and the food is amazing! I had a Deluxe Double room in the fifth floor with a balcony and a stunning view over Kathmandu. Additionally, the internet connection is very good so I could work remotely in my hotel room. My full recommendation!

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it's walking easy walking distance to Thamel, but far enough away to get a really peaceful nights sleep. Having the spa on site is great, and the restaurant is a nice space with a good menu. All the staff here are helpful and professional.

Our group stayed at the Himalayan hotel twice over 3 weeks, on the front and back end of our hike to Everest Base Camp. Both times the staff were incredibly helpful, the hotel was very clean and well-stocked, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Ishwor and Sagar in the restaurant always served us promptly and politely, and Nawaraj at the front desk was very helpful with currency exchange, printing, shipping parcels, etc. Our Everest guides, Mingmar and Binod, were excellent. Through logistical challenges with flights, bad weather, and gear issues, these two worked tirelessly to get us to Base Camp and ensure we had a successful trek. I highly, highly recommend staying at the Himalayan Suite Hotel. The reasonably priced food and spa services, clean and modern rooms, and excellent staff will make your experience a great one.

We have already used twice and surely will use again when go back to Kathmandu. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Great location in a quiet alley but is close enough to Thamel. Small in-house restaurant with outdoor garden setting, offering l great food and service. I am fortunate enough to be able to have a total 4 nights here, including 3 nights after our 11 days trekking itinerary. I planned to come back to Nepal next year for more trekking experience and would be looking forward to come back to this hotel for our Kathmandu stay. I highly recommended this hotel.

I totally recommend the Himalayan Suite. It is located just 5 minutes from Thamel. The property is Very clean, elegant and Staff is very cooperative and helpful. All logistics, tickets, guide, porter, all transfers, literally everything was easily available. Besides, a great SPA, where we experienced amazing massages. Delicious breakfasts.
