Ambience of this cafe is awesome. Cafe is architecturally well designed from wooden tables, lights, bookshelves, kitchen and so much more. They serve all kinds of coffee, breakfast, bakery items and fast foods; momo, etc. They have their own Coffee beans. They are good. I recommend trying out veg. cheese sandwich. It is one of the best I would say. Haven't tried other food items, so cannot say much about their food. Price is similar to that of Himalayan Java. Rating this cafe 5/5 based on ambience, architecture and coffee.

I've been visiting this cafe since 2019 and it has consistently maintained its high standards. It's great to see that the quality of the food and the ambience have remained top-notch over the years. What a spot near the monkey template! We desperately needed a break from all the crowds and the noise - and what a peaceful and pleasant place this is! Super cozy and relaxing atmosphere! Shady and has a nice terrace on a quiet street... Ahh! The veggie burgers and cakes are syper tasty and the coffe is a perfect companion for all the fresh cakes available! The prices are extremely reasonable - would love to come back for sure!

Found this hidden gem while looking for a cafe to sit down with friends. This place is ki da hidden from usual road. You will have to navigate through a small alley around kimdol but not that hard as this is very close to swoyambhu. The ambience is very good. Peaceful, vibrant, and feels good. The interior and lighting and all the book selves are just amazing. Sitting arrangement is also praisalble. Staff and hospitality is also nice. Price is average $$ for current time regarding the cafe like this in kathmandu. We can get vegetarian menu only. On contrary the food is just average. We orders some drinks, spaghetti and dessert the cheese cake was below my expectations. Iced mocca was too sweet in taste. The mushroom spaghetti and egg fried rice were just ok but not that good in term of taste. Recommended if you are trying to get some peaceful cafe around swoyambhu area

Came here after visiting Swayambunath Temple. Got a grape smoothie and then a Fried Paneer sandwhich, and both were really good! I definitely recommend the smoothie: very cooling in the hot weather Ambience is awesome in the cafe - lots of books and very comfortable seating arrangements for groups as well as individuals. Service was very friendly and helpful. Would come again!

Very nice ambiance, quiet and you can see very nice view of stupa. Perfect place for vegetarians and those who wants to do charity can come here and eat. Because whatever you eat, some part of your money goes to charity. I’ve been coming here for more than a year. Love them.

Visited this hidden cafe during Christmas ☃️ and I just felt in love with this cafe. 10/10 for ambiance, their service were great too, brownies and cheesecake were one of my favorites. They serves only vegetarian foods and they'll specially prepare a vegan food if you ask for one. Night view was just awesome.

Took a short break here on my way to Buddha park. Coffee was okay and the interior is quite nice. Only thing I kinda have to mention is that the restroom could use some work. It wasn’t dirty but it looked more like a under construction space with a clean toilet. The toilet door didn’t have a doorknob.

great place for a break hidden somewhere near swyambhu. great ambiance, vibrant and peaceful place. the food is below average, but u can definitely enjoy coffees and desserts. the prices are not cheap something that you'd expect from a cafe in Kathmandu. the people are friendly and the services are quick. Dont forget to try out their brownies...loved it.

Fantastic spot near to the Monkey Temple where you can get delicious burgers & shakes as well as many other dishes. The vibe is really chilled and a great space to get work done with the great wifi available. Best cafe inn Kathmandu!

Great place nearby monkey temple, situated in a residential area/ nice vegetation cuisine with a selection of Vegan and non vegan cakes/ can do a few dishes no onion no garlic I had the halumi burger, unfortunately it was too salty, the halumi really needs to be soaked in milk and I suggest cutting it in smaller thinner slices it really cover the flavours of the roasted vegetables- apart from that all was good! Service VERY good, very friendly:)

The ambience is excellent. Loved the designs and the concept. Lots of books to read. The staffs were friendly. Now about the food, we ordered burgers, sandwiches and spaghetti and some coffees. The drinks were fab; cute cutlery and utensils and the spaghetti was good BUT omg the burger and sandwiches! What is that? No taste at all. A big NO to burger and sandwiches. Would love to visit again for a good cup of coffee with a book.

The best cafe in Kathmandu! Great atmosphere inside and out, it’s on a quiet street so it’s very peaceful. The food and drinks were consistently delicious and high quality with good portions and reasonable prices. The staff was excellent and provided great service.

BIA cafe is an amazing place, the food, the drink and the kind smile of the waitress... i would say this place is very close to the realms of heavens 😊 I would able to eat there rest of my life ( and i am still young 😅 )

Amazing cafe, liked the coffe very much and was very chill. Not much noise amazing for chill hangout of even study date! I liked the over all experience a lot, the staff were nice and the service was nice! Recommended even for first dates esp if you are into books, so many books you could read in the cafe itself. Loved it!

Amazing Cafe. Chilling and good to relax. I love the atmosphere here and the decoration. I love how they put nice books not random books you can definitely come here for reading or chilling and enjoy the quietness. I love the services also was quick was professional and alwyas smilling. I really give the staff 10/10. The coffee was delicious and had breakfast here was amazing love it. The location of the place is amazing located in local area which makes it a wonderful place to enjoy the view of locals goes and comes in the neighborhood. No noisy at all everything is quiet over here. Totally recommend this place whenever you are around. 10/10. Will come back to here whever I am around.
