Tough to find their office, but they offered one of the most responsible options for a hike to view the Himalayas outside of Kathmandu. They have apparently been doing guided trips for over a decade. This was the second time in using Outdoor Himalayan Treks and I so glad I returned. From the moment I was greeted by Ram (manager of OHT) at Kathmandu airport, to the wonderful and detailed service on the trek from Krishna and Dipak, I felt like royalty. I feel this company goes the extra mile to make you feel you are getting the most from your time spent in Nepal. On my return this time, I chose to do the Renjo La and Everest base camp trek. My guide was Krishna, a man with 22 years experience as a guide has so much knowledge of the surrounding mountains and Nepal itself. My porter Dipak who has the strength of ten men and also the most kindest person. I feel the service in whole was a 5 star experience and I would highly recommend asking for these two if possible. You will come to use Outdoor Himalayan Treks as a client, but most definitely will part as friends.

There is no better team than Outdoor Himalayan Trek. We did Annapurna Base Camp Trek in August 2023. They took a great care of US but also we spent hours talking about Nepal, Himalayas, life, people..everything. IT felt like together Rammani -our guide, porters and us are one team. Great organization. I truely reccommend.

We got to know Outdoor Himalayan Treks by staying at Hotel Mums Home, where we got to talk to Rammani, who is the Manager for Outdoor Himalayan Treks. He is very forecoming and connected, which means he gave us great tips on food locations, outdoor shops to rent gear and more. Without a problem he arranged our full 20-day EBC trek with guide, shared jeep to Phaplu, flight back from Lukla and private Jeep from Rameshap to Kathmandu one day before we wanted to leave. All this at a reasonable price, which you probably cant get anywhere when booking online. We were so lucky to have Mr. Arjun Rai as our Guide, who made the whole experience SO much more memorable. I think he is among THE best guides out there. Not only his knowledge and connection to the mountains, buddism, culture of the sherpas and rais, but also his funny, forecoming and always-friendly attitude. It really was like trekking with a third friend. Thanks to Outdoor Himalayan Treks and Arjun. You made this trip a 10/10 experience.

I highly recommend Outdoor Himalayan Treks. We chose the Nar Phu Trek and could not be happier with our experience. The employees at Outdoor Himalayan Treks really go above and beyond to help their clients have the best time. Badri was so helpful and always available throughout the booking process for any questions or concerns we had. During the trek we always felt SO cared for and safe with our guide and porter. Dilli, our guide, was so supportive, knowledgeable and fun. We laughed a lot! Hari, our porter, was so sweet and attentive. Truly an incredible trek and we have Badri, Dilli and Hari to thank. I hope to return to Nepal again and would definitely book with Outdoor Himalayan Treks.

My father and I did the EBC trek. Ram is a great host, he answered all of our questions and is a friendly guy. We often saw him around the hotel taking care of guests, he was always happy to chat and arrange trips / taxis. We did a couple of day trips with Kamal, he's a great guide. He enjoys his job even though it is repetitive for him. For our trek we had Prakash, again, great guide. He wasn't obtrusive, he was very encouraging and patient with repeated questions. Sadly my father couldn't continue after Dingboche, Prakash made arrangements for him further down the mountain while we continued. Prakash is professional when needed but he's also good to relax with. He knows many people along the route and can help with tea houses and flights! His English is good too. I can't recommend Outdoor Himialayan Treks, Ram, Prakash and Kamal enough. Don't worry about sending the money for a deposit, it might take a few days to completely go through but it's all above board. Looking forward to going back next year to do Three Passes and Island Peak!

It is a very easy 5 stars for excellent service and an amazing not only mountain but overall Nepal experience. I did not feel like a regular customer, but rather a welcome guest. We have made most arrangements with the company before travelling to Nepal. Our main contact in Outdoor Himalayan Treks was Badri who without a doubt went above and beyond his role, and made sure we got the best experience possible – thank you so much Badri! Always available to answer our questions and give advice, providing detailed explanations, welcoming us on arrival and waving goodbye on departure from Nepal, making sure we were looked after and had all necessary information. We chose a short and relatively easy trekking in Annapurna Conservation Area, because we were also visiting other places in the country. The mountains were stunning – you have to see for yourselves, words won’t do them justice! Krishna was our guide and Madhabe helped with our luggage. Krishna has years of guiding experience under his belt and is really passionate about his job. He is professional and very efficient in making all necessary arrangements, such as accommodation and meals. Always willing to share his vast experience, exchange information, or ready to crack a joke. And Madhabe, with not an easy task to carry our stuff for hours every day, was always smiling and claimed he was never tired! He eagerly shared stories of his other treks with us. Both were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Big thanks, guys. I would recommend Outdoor Himalayan Treks to anyone travelling to Nepal. If you want a hassle free, well planned experience, that you can even modify as you go along, then Outdoor Himalayan Treks is the company for you!

I had an unbelievable experience on the Mardi Himal Trek, which is consistent with every trip (5-6 others) I have taken with Outdoor Himalayan Treks! Their staff is professional, knowledgeable, and highly experienced. Badri was wonderful to work with through the planning process. As usual, he developed an itinerary that was customized for my interests and ability level. My trekking guide, Dilli, was amazing, as well! He truly understands why I come to Nepal--I love the people, the culture, the mountains, everything. As a solo female trekker, I always felt safe. As a bonus, the views were incredible, even though it was the height of the Monsoon season. I highly recommend Outdoor Himalayan Treks for your trekking experience!

My total experience was overall extremely positive. I completed a solo 15 day Annapurna Circuit trek and was guided expertly the whole way by Dilli. Dilli was really supportive, attentive and informative, always going at the pace that suited me. I got on really well with Dilli and he even took me round Pokhara for a day after the trek had ended as he wanted to show me around the city properly! Much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Outdoor Himalayan. Ram was extremely responsive and helpful with all my questions when arranging the trip and he was really understanding of what I wanted to do and supportive in making it happen. Even when I was on the trek I felt assured I could reach out to Ram if any issues did arise. He also helped with a SIM card and additional activities in Kathmandu after the trek so all in all I was very well looked after. If I make a return to Nepal I would definitely get back in touch with Outdoor Himalayan.

Outdoor Himalayan treks are an amazing company to deal with. From early communication, the day of arrival, during the trek, right through till we left Kathmandu. I will go out of my way to let friends and family know to go through this company for future Himalayan adventure as I want everyone to have an amazing experience as me and my group of friends did.

We just returned from our Annapurna circuit trip. This organization was found through a Google search, where someone wrote a post about their travel experience with Outdoor Himalayan Treks. We decided to write to several companies, but these turned out to be the fastest. The owner of the company answered our questions very quickly and clearly that we were left in no doubt about who to go with in the Himalayas. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted with local flowers and taken to the hotel where we began our journey. We had a guide and a porter during the entire trek. The guide was very polite and took care of us during the trip. Always adjusted to our pace, which contributed to good acclimatization. And Porter...I've never seen such strong people who can carry so much weight and go fast! Even though we have been to many countries, thanks to the well-coordinated team, we think it was the best trip ever. In addition, we had an extra two days and decided to go to Chitwan with them. We are already planning our next trip to Everest Base Camp with Outdoor Himalayan Treks!

We just returned from an amazing trip in Nepal. Ramani, who was the manager for our trip, has many connections and experience in organizing whatever you need. He organized us a great guide and a few porters for our trek in Langtang. It felt very personal and they took our concerns seriously. We recommend them to anyone who wants to visit Nepal.

I had two really amazing trek with Outdoor Himalayan Treks in 2018. On first occasion my wife and I went with to Manaslu Circuit in May 2018. We were so genuinely impressed and happy with our interactions with Mr. Rammani Rijal and our guide Rupak Rimal that I decided to go again in December 2018, this time from Jiri from Gokyo. My experience this time was even better. Mr. Rammani is extremely trustworthy and honest in his dealings. I found that the rates charged by the company are competitive and their services excellent. Their advice and suggestions about where to trek given your time, budget and interests are also spot on. This company also takes safety seriously— they equip their guides with first aid kits, crampons, ropes and ice axes regardless of the difficulty involved in treks. I think this is a seriously important trekking safety. The company is professional and trustworthy and it appears that they take good care of their employees as well. On both occasions Rupak Rimal was my guide. Rupak is a fantastic guide and all my future treks in Nepal and perhaps even elsewhere in India will be with him. He is young, energetic, fun, friendly and is extremely knowledgeable about local customs. He is responsible, (I trusted him with my money since I did not want to carry my wallet around in trekking), safe, and yet flexible. He understands the needs and limitations of trekkers, including when to push them to complete their goals and when to suggest rest or alternatives in the interest of safety. You can trust him. He really wants you to complete your trekking goals but without taking unnecessary risks. I trust his judgment in the mountains now. In manaslu trek while crossing the Larke La, he saved me from an enormous rock fall, which could have seriously injured me. Rupak is also an exceptional and enthusiastic photographers. He carries an impressive DSLR camera with him and takes spectacular landscape photos and photos of trekkers (with their permission). You have to see his photos to truly appreciate his photography skills. Rupak’s command over English is also extremely solid. He has a very good sense of humor as well. He has no bad habits and is a really good company. In short I could not have found a better guide than Rupak. Rupak is now a friend and part of my family. I will strongly recommend going with Rupak for a safe, fun-filled and memorable treks. All in all Mr Rammani and Rupak— part of team Outdoor Himalayan Treks— are a great team. You can trust them with your money, time and holiday.

Badri did an incredible job organising our time in Nepal. He helped us work out the activities we wanted to do and then organised the entire journey so we didn't have to worry about logistics and could fully enjoy our time. Dilli was an excellent guide who took great care of us for our 3 day trek to Poon Hill and back - not only did he perform a myriad of duties to make sure our trek was enjoyable, he also taught us some life lessons along the way. He was endlessly patient and went over and beyond helping us out. Badri also arranged our bus to Pokhara and our stay and activities in Chitwan (which was wonderful - we got to see a Rhino up close on the jeep safari!). 10/10 would recommend.

We did two treks with Outdoor Himalayan Treks. The experience was unforgettable. Before visiting Nepal or while your stay, Make sure to contact them as trekking with their experienced team was amazing. We made the Annapurna circuit trip last month accompanied by Outdoor Himalayan Treks (Badri). The experience was wonderful, Badri is undoubtedly the best, available and answers any question or problem with a warm attitude and wonderful interpersonal relations. I would definitely recommend Outdoor Himalayan. We did the EBC trek. Ram - the manager is a great host! Very quick to respond and helpful when it comes to booking hotels, local transport, food recommendations. He provided relentless support for our ever changing plans. If I go back to Nepal, I'm definitely going to do it with Outdoor Himalayan as they provide outstanding support.

I cannot recommend Outdoors and its amazing team highly enough. They provide absolutely everything with the highest standards. They have good and fast communication at the planning stage and while en-route, very competitive prices without hidden fees, an excellent team supporting at every stage (pick-ups, office, guides, porters), a great capacity to solve any unexpected problem you can come across (eg flight delays or personal requests), the ability to tailor-design your experience, plus an excellent personal touch which makes you feel among friends. Our guide, Subba, and our porter, Hari, were certainly one more member of our team, very experienced, with high leadership and management skills, and formidable travel companions with their excellent humour. They didn't hesitate to act as guide, cook, porter, or anything the situation required. From the office, Raj and team were absolutely fantastic. They managed everything to our highest expectations. Will certainly repeat with each and everyone of them!

Team Poland Mera- October 2023 We were on a trek and on a summit Mera Peak with Outdoor Himalayan Treks. It was a wonderful time spent in Nepal. We can certainly recommend the company for its perfect organization and professionalism. Very good and quick contact with Rammani. Excellent Service We only had 6 days stay in nepal and we were able to go a lot of places and do a lot of interesting things. The trip was very well planned and they always check on us making sure all is doing great and queries were answered promptly. We learned a lot of interesting things from our tourist guide for he speaks english well so we had a smooth communication. Our driver was also very nice, he became our instant tour guide as well during our trip to pokhara. It was a very fun filled, easy and smooth trip. Highly recommended.
