Most disappointing cheesecake taste was very doughy. Very unprofessional as my delivery time was 2pm and they forgot my order. I had ordered a special strawberry cheesecake and look at the picture of the cake. I pound cake cost me 2500 Rs and so ruined my special occasion. Never would I ever again chose such a place that does not respect its customers.

We didn't get to try the foods but we had the cheesecake and the carrot cake. The carrot cake was really good, I've usually had dense ones but this one was soft, moist and sweet. The frosting on it (i'm guessing its cream cheese) was the best. The cheesecake was just ok and did not feel fresh as the bits on the edges had hardened a bit. Not bad to taste but we had expected more as it is considered one of the top places for cheesecakes. It's a bit on the pricier side but worth the experience. And of course the gentle fur baby scotty makes it even better.

I heard from a friend that cheesecake is Imago's speciality. I had to give it a try so that I can confirm what I have heard. The first vibe I got felt I visited cafe already put me to great mood. I ambience is good, the staffs were welcoming. I order cheesecake (as suggested by my friend), and I was not disappointed. I wouldn't say it was the best cheesecake but it was good. However, if I consider the price with the food, I would say it's not worth it. I ordered two glass of red wine and a cheesecake cake and the total cost might have given me a better meal but if you just wanna try the cheesecake I would say, give it a go.. The cheesecake didn't live up to the hype but I've had a lot of cheesecake around Kathmandu and I can say if I were to try it again I would visit Imago.

I had heard about Imago Dei for a while and finally had a chance to check it out today. Chessecakes in Nepal can be very hit and miss. For me, this cheesecake was a hit. The atmosphere was pleasant and the servers were kind and attentive. I certainly recommend cheesecakes and pastry lovers to check out Imago Dei by Rachel. Having been to both Cafe Imago and Imago Dei, I recommend Imago Dei.

Nestled inside a very busy and loud neighborhood is this peaceful oasis that showcases rich Rana historical artifacts mixed with modern contemporary art. The atmosphere made me super calm and content. Let me get into the best part, the food. Me and my partner tried their breakfast menu. I got the eggs Benedict, and she got full English breakfast. In that breakfast we got fresh juice, a tea or coffee, bread, and fruit salad (you heard that.. fruit salad with kiwi). Every thing was uber fresh (even their bread, jam and butter was made in house). Me and my partner felt like we were pampered after we finished the meal (we really did not want to end our meal, infact we wanted to stay there the whole day and eat). I forgot to mention about their jam, which has the perfect taste. I can't wait to try their lunch and dinner menu. For now, this is my favorite breakfast place. Kudos to Rachel and for her team who delivers quality food!

Beautiful location indoors and outdoor. Sushila was very kind to let me work and have my dinner. Enjoyed Caesar Salad, very unique but little salty for my taste. Tried their pumpkin soup which was so delicious, and cheesecake which was highlight of the meal. Cheesecake is very unique recipe of imago/Rachel highly recommend it.

Went there for breakfast with my friends. We ordered Egg's Benedict, English Breakfast and Waffles. Except the waffles, both the other items were disappointing. The portion size was disheartening and both the items was cold. As you can see in the image below, the Egg Benedict's plating itself looked empty when it arrived. The English Breakfast also has some sad looking egg omelette, spoon full of beans and some bacon and one sausage. The 2 stars are only for the waffle which tasted decent and for the coffee and some bread and fruit platter that we received with the breakfast. The person serving us was hospitable. Hope they improve their food. Had high expectations.

I visited this restaurant on February 15th for a special date with my wife, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The restaurant was dusty, and the napkins on the table were dirty. When we asked about it, they blamed it on a new server, which didn't make sense. The drinks were also poorly made. Although the appetizers were decent, our main courses were not up to par. The homemade pizza didn't taste right, and the thick layer of cheese made it unappetizing. The real problem, however, was the special pork belly dish. The pork was not properly cooked, and it still had ice at its core, which is a major health hazard. When we asked the cook about it, they claimed to be not the chef and said that they just warmed it up as it was already pre-cooked. This is not how it should be done. Eating undercooked pork can cause serious health problems. Overall, I would strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. There are much better options in the area with higher quality food and a cleaner environment

Recently re opened but disgraceful. AVOID! The cheese cake is expensive and awful. Literally one of the worst cheese cakes I've had in my life and I'm not exaggerating. Ordered some tofu wrapped in banana leaves and there were no leaves and there were just 2 tiny pieces of tofu for the exuberant price. An absolute disgrace!

My favorite dessert at this place. Seasonal cheese cake. They add fresh fruit which makes the dish more delicious. I have tried their mango, blueberry and strawberry cheesecake. And what makes me visit this place is the desserts. They have nice ambience with plants in indoor area as well as the service is good. The place is relaxing with Outdoor sitting available. I enjoy the food and service here.

Their cheesecakes are awesome. The rest of the menu including baked items - so-so. Don't bother trying. Leaving five-star only for those cheesecakes.

Loved the cheesecake except that everything was horrible… Ordered draft beer that was too old to drink, juice wasn’t fresh, breakfast not so good. Overall dont go with the hype.

Let's start off with the good: well there isn't pretty much on offer except the heritage of the property which was quite interesting. From there on everything went down hill. When we sat inside the living room smelled very bad. We decided nonetheless to not be rude to the waiter. I had actually called the property the day before and asked them if breakfast was available and the phone attendee lied to me saying it was available all day. I was expecting to have a nice breakfast but alas! We had to order from the ala carte menu. We ordered grilled fish. It was for sure a Basa fish but it wasn't cooked well. Infact it had a very chewy consistency. The rice that was supposed to be served was put on a tiny bowl that didn't match the theme of the place and it was cold. Talk about a bad presentation. The waitress then came up to us and said an English breakfast can be served so we tried it. The plating was horrendous and the beans that came along with it was disappointing to say the least. There weren't sausages available so grilled chicken was served (which was dry). The eggs were overcooked. The whole thing looked sorry with two pieces of toast that looked like a school lunch menu. What was most disappointing was the bill that was paid. For a full English breakfast and paying over 1k for it felt like a complete rip off. In fact the whole bill amount was akin to something that could be experienced at a luxury hotel for probably the same price. This isn't a post to lambast the business but should be taken as constructive criticism. When the waiter asked how everything was, I politely told him that we did not enjoy the experience. I'm sorry but we really can't recommend this place.

Went there on a Saturday, 3:30pm. Not many people so it was pretty quiet. Love that type of environment. Soothing background music. The cook Deepak Pandey seems very talented, the oven baked pork belly was really really good. The club sandwich was good. The carbonara with the chicken instead of pork was ok. Overall good experience. The cheese cake was ok though my wife seems to love it. The dog Scotty seemed very friendly and added to the homely atmosphere. Sad point- my sense of smell is ok so I couldnt make out anything but my wife could smell some hint of urine? Scotty

You can find one of the best cheesecake here. They serve you seasonal fruits garnished on the top of the cheesecake. The taste is so amazing and the staffs are so welcoming and cheerful. The ambiance is also impressive. No doubt the cheesecake excel your expectation. Highly recommended!

Went to the venue no greeting by staff, unclear where sitting area was as no one to guide. When my upstairs and had peoples changed clothes just lying around. Had to ask chef to understand if it was open. Chef was chilling with another person. Left the venue without buying anything as was so confused if they even wanted me there.

A quiet place to hangout, with classic taste on ambience inside which you can learn a bit of history as well. As for food if you want to go for a breakfast, suggest you to order full breakfast, which is value for money and you get to taste variety of dishes.

The food here is absolutely fantastic. Place is great too and service impeccable. The cakes are a thing of beauty 😍 Prices are a bit high but the food and service justifies it.

Came here especially because I knew it was owned by the original owner of Imago Dei. Was extremely disappointed by the cheesecake especially given the price. Nowhere near as good as it used to be. Hope management can bring the quality back to what it used to be.

Absolutely amazing cheesecake, and the place is located in a quiet lane by the park in Naxal, highly recommend!

Absolutely ridiculous prices. The cheesecake was priced as it would be in London. And high service charge too. I paid for two drinks and a cheesecake which was equivalent to a nice meal elsewhere. Really not fair for the normal person. As an expat I feel like you really need to revise your prices to suit everyone! The cheesecake wasn't even that great like I remember it.

I think the new Imago is not yet ready. I went and ordered Pasta Carbonara and I got pasta dipped in milk. Then to top it off there was a blue plastic thread in the food. I was not even offered an apology - I paid the bill for the coffee and left. I used to be a regular in the old imago and loved it. The reason I am posting it here is to make sure the owner knows what is going on.
