Who ever responds the phone call the date of 1/24/2022 around 11 am at KTM us embassy. there is a woman voice she is clearly rude ,and zero manner. I never know people can be like that specially on the field of customer Service next time I'll do voice record will be post on public review, and email to US embassy HR or councilor office. We need good customers with good manner. please for us🙏

I have a very bad experience calling US Embassy Nepal. I had basic questions about my case. But, lady on phone seems like she had a bad day. She was rude and arrogant. I went over reviews and saw good dozens of reviews where people shared their bad experience with the receptionist. So, she was definitely not having a bad day rather that's her behavior. Hopefully US embassy will monitor this behavior of person working there.

Receptionist lady, whom we thought who could help us appeared to be one who would want a fight without a reason. How can someone be on that position with “0” communication skills. Unprofessional, she must have admit she doesn’t deserve that job.Kick her out.

The worst U.S Embassy ever I've visited as an American citizen, ive been to many countries and also have been to several different U.S embasies but so far the one in Nepal is the worst one ive experienced, first of all I called in advance to check on availibility of car parking for visitors, the Nepali lady who answered the call had rude tone of voice said they don't have visitor parking, when I clearly saw parking spaces which was marked VISITOR inside the entrance. 2nd when I arrived at the Embassy, the Nepali guards had no manners when talking or giving instructions. All of the Nepali staff and security guards needs briefing on how to behave with people visiting the facility on official business. I'll be writing an official complain to the embassy. This needs to be addressed and corrected. To the Embassy personals reading this, here is an important message. Don't let this be an Embarrassing representation for our county. Hope to see improvement in the future. God bless America.

Embassy, the word tells everything. Anyway it’s the place to get visa for United states of America. The surrounding environment of this embassy is totally sanitary and good looking. It seems like you are in United states if you enter in this building. The security of this embassy is so strict that you are not allowed to take even a single photograph from outside( when I took this pic, one guy in this photo scolded me😁)

The lady on the call is extremely rude and speak as if we have done any crime by calling them. She doesn’t have manners. Why is she so frustrated by the calls ? Is she unhappy about her job? I was shock to hear her voice so rude I just hold for a sec to know why the hell she is shouting. Plz don’t keep those who are unhappy. They are the one who will spoil others mood too

such a rude staffs(front security guards and document managing lady and guy ) i've ever experienced. i was literally so very much shocked🤬 i dun know what do they think of themself😡 they think they are masters and we are slaves😡🤬 i get discussed with one guy to talk with us politely. .who the hell are you to talk with us so unappropriately. .

As a receptionist, I think you should know how to deal with or have a conversation with your guest. After right away you receive the call, the way you speak (the lady receptionist) was very rude and had no professionalism at all. I can see lots of reviews related to the same thing but still no improvement or no actions at all. I hope there will be some changes in the coming future. Thank you

My wife and I called the US embassy in Kathmandu between 3:30 PM and 3:45 PM on July 13, 2023, to inquire about visa information. However, we were disappointed by the unprofessional and rude behavior of the lady who answered the call. It was the worst customer service experience we have ever encountered, especially considering it was at the embassy of the world's most powerful country. We believe that politeness and professionalism should be a minimum expectation in such a setting. We hope that the embassy has recorded the call and we strongly urge them to identify the person responsible and take appropriate action. Such incidents can have a negative impact on the reputation of the United States.

This is Nepal and the Embassyis in Nepal so what is the logic behind illogical attitude of staffs in the Embassy ? Rudeness is extreme with longest phone connection making people wait more than 10 minutes so who's gonna tolerate this type of unethical behaviour...Not for the foreigners but my sympathy goes to those Nepalese working there .First of all develop some positive attitude then start your job😡😡😡

On July 13, 2023, between 3:30 PM and 3:50 PM, I had an extremely unpleasant customer service experience when I called the US embassy. The receptionist who initially answered the call did not inquire about the reason for my call and instead kept transferring me to the wrong department. When I questioned her about why she was not addressing my inquiry and why she continued to transfer me incorrectly, she responded by yelling at me. She even went so far as to say that the embassy does not provide any customer service at all, which was highly unprofessional. Eventually, she abruptly ended the call. I strongly believe that individuals who display such unprofessional behavior should not be responsible for answering calls at the embassy. It is disheartening to see numerous reviews highlighting similar issues, yet there seems to be no improvement or actions taken to address this recurring problem. I sincerely hope that necessary changes will be implemented in the near future to improve the quality of service at the embassy. Thank you.

Need a lot of improvements. Small coffee and tea kisok is needed. ATM should be allowed for everybody. Books collection are good. Small library but quality material. Library subscription fee should be increased to maintain standard and serve facilities. It is better to allow only hard copy books. In the era of internet everybody has access to internet, mobile phones and computer. One day, in a week, there should be only interaction between library members for social harmony and friendship.

Having a lot of Nepali employees at this embassy is making our ambassador to work dead slowly. Instead of celebrating all Nepali holidays, we as a U.S. citizen and tax payer want to speed up visa process. It is so frustrating that Nepali employees of this embassy practice as Nepali system instead of U.S..

Beware of the staff here . In the visa section . Last time i went to interview there . I have a full document and paperwork. They put me in hold my application for like 2 months without any reason. When i try to contact the office about my visa status they keep on telling me that we will contact you , we will contact you but they never ever contact me . Because of this I nearly lose my visa status and travel to us . This incident has changed my life . Unprofessionalism is on another level.

It was a very nice system. I had visited with my parents for their appointment and my parents said the staffs are very polite and helpful.

If there was minus I would like to rate it in Negative , I called for customer service on 17th July and was so Disappointed with the Rude Behavior of the Reciever. so unprofessional and unethical employee you have shame on name.

Today I went to us ambassy at 1:25 PM to get information regarding visa processing but the security guard over there treat us as we went there in order to rob and block the way and he told that there is no parking in a rude way. If he say in a normal way then we would park outside and go inside.

They can reject your visa without providing a valid reason. And you can do nothing
