4 star because it has always been there. Also, the food is dirt cheap when compared to other restaurants in the town. However, it existed 10 years back as well or even way back and the condition has deteriorated and now needs a little bit of renovation work. Other than that a good, clean and cheap place to eat in Kathmandu.

The waiter there was rude. He was serving on the basis of attire of person. Even the bill and money was brought in hand instead of bill clip.

Wow consistent. Not degraded the quality for many years unlike other famous n expensive restaurants are doing. Best in town.I better not eat even in Dalle.But I wait and eat here.Superb.Best in Town for me.Thank you Universal cafe for satisfying my taste.

No doubt about the place and Ambience... Needs improvement in menu for soft drinks

It's a good place with ample space for having good time with friends. Food is not bad. Good thing I've noticed is the quick service. Compared to the other restaurants in the area, orders are served quite quicker. And yes, you'll find good paneer momo.

I loved the cafe until my last visit. We ordered three dishes and had to wait for almost 40 minutes. They later told us (after we asked them) that the order didn't get to the kitchen and we had to eat something else or wait for another 20 mins. Oh and I was shocked with the price. They made us pay 70 rupees for Coke that costs 45 elsewhere. Totally pissed off.

It's an okay place. Never order the palak paneer though.

Overall experience was terrific the staff wasn't welcoming and good they lacked basic customer service and the food was terrible especially the keema naan so it was not worth the money and won't recommend to others
