It's a Casino in a country which doesn't allow gambling for it's local residents. On the plus side I believe that this is the only Casino in Kathmandu that actually has a Government license to operate. Its located at the Shangri-la Hotel in Lazimpat, so there's a convenient hotel to stay at if you have any money left!

Nicely maintained casino. As per Nepal govt. rules, no Nepalese are allowed inside the casino for playing. It is located within the premises of Shangri-La Hotel.

We went there post midnight. Small in size but good ambience. Usual American Roulette, Poker, Slot Machines etc available.

"The Best Casino in Kathmandu!" I used to visit this place several times for fun when I visited Kathmandu. Tried another places sometimes but I can say here is the best because, - Not too big - Not too crowded - Friendly staff Wish it will be reopened soon. Highly recommended!

Nice clean and best casino I have visit in Kathmandu but I didn't visit any other casino but still for I visit this one is good and make sure that they doesn't accept Indian currency accept only 100 rupees notes

Very friendly front desk + security. The table service at roulette wasn't perfect compared to Swiss standard. But it was calm, but not empty what I really liked!

Relaxed atmosphere. Good service. No over bearing staff. Drinks and food for free. Plenty slit machines with a wide variety of slit games. Tables tend to get crowded for short period of times. Music sometimes loud but its a xasino afterall.

Although it doesn't compare to bigger casinos around the world, it's a cosy and safe environment, if smoky. Take your passport to gain entry, order some free snacks and enjoy the games.
