We just completed a two week trip customer made by Swotah to Nepal and Bhutan and it was a very good experience, they organized all the details and we enjoyed it a lot. We certainly recommend Swotah for future travellers!!!

I took part in two different treks by Swotah Travel. They were absolutely excellent in every way. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Ajay and the team were happy to adapt the treks to suit my individual itinerary. The airport pickup made the journey into Kathmandu stress free and the hotel we stayed in for the first night was lovely. The first trek I took part in - the millennium homestay trek was an amazing way to immerse yourself in Nepalese culture. I really felt in the middle of nowhere in the best way. This trek is very easy going and the food that you eat along the way is phenomenal. I didn’t want it to end! All of the homestay families are very friendly and make you feel incredibly welcome. I loved the cultural activities too - the shaman visit was fascinating and the dance night was fun (though be warned, you will be dancing). We visited a cave called millennium cave which was stunning, there were crabs and bats within the cave and a huge waterfall. The porters and guide - Kumar were great. Kumar was very friendly and an excellent guide, he was informative and funny. My second trek was the Annapurna Basecamp Trek starting from Ghandruk. This trek was a much more physically demanding trek than the previous as you are travelling up to 4130m. Be prepared for many hundreds of steps. That being said, the mountain paths are very well maintained. The landscape seen on this trek is truly sublime. I actually couldn’t get my head around what I was looking at half of the time - mountains towering literally kilometres above you as you are already sitting at 4000m. At Sinewa we stayed at a lovely lodge (which had excellent food) where you could see a brilliant view of the fishtail, especially in the early morning. There is also a beautiful waterfall about half way to ABC next to a temple. My guide, Bilaya was fantastic. He was super friendly and made sure I always had everything I needed. He took care of all of the accommodation and tourist permit for the Annapurna region so I really didn’t need to worry about anything. I really enjoyed trekking with him. He also taught me some Nepali card games which was great! This trek was great for meeting other like minded people at the lodges, I spent a lot of time playing cards and talking about the mountains which was lovely. I wholeheartedly recommend Swotah Travel for anyone who wants to holiday in Nepal. They really have something for everyone. I found that the two treks I did were different in the best ways and I felt that I got to experience both the cultural elements of Nepal and achieve an athletic goal. All communications with Swotah were concise and clear. They always got back to me incredibly quickly.
