I always opt to eat where locals eat because I travel on a low budget and like good food . However I found that this place will provide you with a tourist menu and tourist prices, especially hidden prices for beer. Although this sounds like I'm being privileged, it's mainly out of principle. The staff were nice but there are much better local places with local food available. I recommend Loving heart vegan restaurant, Sarangi Vegetarian Cafe or especially my favourite Sat Saheb, great local foods for the same price or cheaper and healthier at Sat Saheb :)

Delicious vegetarian food and friendly staff. Very affordable. Sociable layout. You will likely make some new friends with some very nice people.

If you are looking for delicious vegetarian/vegan Nepali food in a local environment (for a local price as well), this place is the place! People are super nice and they cook amazing!! I tried many dishes since I kept coming. Always full of locals, nice vibes and I don't know if I mentioned it but very tasty food! Come here and forget about those typical touristic places that charge you 10% extra.

Great place for delicious all vegetarian food. Full of returning locals. A must-visit for anyone who's tired of the regular atmosphere of Thamel district and wants something more authentic.

Place is bit hidden from the main street,but there's a small board outside.Pure veg.food cook very locally.Homely environment as well as affordable for everyone. Place should be better if it's little more clean.

This family run place is quite a hidden gem, really. The ambiance isn't the greatest but the food is good. They are one of the rare places that serve 100% Vegetarian Dishes. The price is pretty affordable and my go to dish here is the Chhola Bhatura, a pretty easy recommendation.

Awesome little family run restaurant serving Nepalese food. Prices are great food is great and there are so many options. Can get busy so you might have to share a table. Just make sure you say that you’re vegan and they can help you out ;)

Delicious food!!! If you do yourself the pleasure of eating here, you will find cheap and good food. I can recommend the paneer butter massala with roti. Everything is home cooked and has plenty of flavor

Good place for tea and foods in Paknajol area. Their milk tea, roti tarkari is good but black tea and lemon tea is way too much sweet. ask them to keep sugar less if its your preferance.

Friendly family run spot with small open courtyard that gives feeling of space. A vegetarian menu. Chole Batura is good. Real tea is served. Friendly atmosphere.
