What an absolute treat. We have never done cooking classes before so were not sure what to expect. The staff Rose and Nanna were so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We learnt a little about thai culture and lots about thai flavours. We walked away having a really good understanding of thai cooking Great hands on teaching with a lot of fun mixed in

Like cooking classes in SG, ingredients are prepared in-advance for you. It’s the company and instructor that brings up the experience. It was nice. If you are already cooking at home, do choose the more complex dishes, otherwise, simpler ones may make it a less-interesting experience for you. Had cultural stuff (language and Thai immersion session) that added into the hours. It was useful :) pricey and really need to arrange for hotel transfer. Do note they are close on Sundays

(Translated by Google) A great place to learn the secrets of Thai cuisine. You cook yourself and eat. Chefs instructors simply - FIRE! All liked it. It is a pity that the training is only in English. But in principle, everything is clear and without language will be. (Original) Отличное место для обучения секретам тайской кухни. Not a good cooking class. Very elementary, for beginners. I would estimate that the ingridients would cost at most 200 thb. I explained ahead that I am vegan and they said it is fine and have substitutes. Paid the 1700 thb and the 100thb asked for the ride from my hotel and back. Which was meant to be private ride as I understand. The class was supposed to last 3 hours. The ride was nice. Had a chance to speak to the lady who later taught the class. It is a wonderfull facility that they have. First we sat down and had to wait a lady that was part of our group having the course. This ate into out time 10 min for sure. Then we started with things that were so elementary like how to say hello and pure silliness. I was asked to choose 3 dishes. I know thai cuisine. The dishes offered were so simple and you feel free to judge the pictures I have attached. I have been to 2 other courses and there is no way can compare the experience. There was a couple in my group of only four which looked like they were having an average time. At the end they were asked to pay the bill 200thb more than first agreed. The man had a picture of the agreed price on a paper signed by the in-between person, agent. So he paid only as much me even though his ride home took way longer. They went into the car to leave. Nobody asked them how they liked it or anything. Before the car drove of they decided to put me in the car as well. I told them to drive off cause I wanted to tell the nice lady that I didn't have a good time, even after paying the full price. The lady was smiling and replying at my disappointment and telling her it was not a good experience just saying "so?". I told her not tell people that this can be a cooking class for vegans as well if they cannot prepare for vegans. Putting tofu in every dish doesn't make it vegan. Finally it felt like a scam. The class lasted 2 hours and 10 minutes tops including all the eating and talking about things not related to cooking. People were rushed in and out of the place. In the beginning they had a loud class leaving and at the end they already had a loud class next to us. I felt so disappointed that after telling my teacher how disappointed I was and paying for the class and ride back to my hotel I needed to clear my head and walked to my hotel. They took pictures of us so we wouldn't have too. I was promised pictures but I have not receive them yet.

Attended the “Healthy Lifestyle” class led by P’ Nong. It was my first cooking class ever at Pum’s, which was a fun and enjoyable experience. My fiancé and I both got to learn 5 dishes of our choosing, and got to taste the fruits of our labor after it was done. I didn’t know that cooking could be a fun activity, but I guess it might be because the ingredients were all prepared and there was no washing up to do. I look forward to my next visit to Pum’s.

The cooking experience was authentic and they charged us reasonable prices for a 3 hour class. I had an excellent time with the instructors who taught us plenty about Thai ingredients and recipes. Clean friendly environment in a town filled with tourist traps. Don't take the chance with others, go with Pum! Just remember to book your own rides after the class as the taxis and private cars are crazy touts. Only thing I didn't like was the phad Thai which I believe was missing out an ingredient. That particular dish was bland. Food recipes are subjective of course. All the photos taken were cooked by my partner and me. Great experience so do try it once.

This was one of the true highlights of our trip to Phuket and I can recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about cooking authentic Thai cuisine. We’ve been making some of the dishes since we’ve been home, and it is as if we really took part of Thailand culture back home with us! You really gain an appreciation for the proper ingredients and how to use them... and when you do, you can make some truly delicious food.

Enjoyable class with very warm and friendly staff and instructors. However is is extremely beginner level. I consider myself to be an intermediate level cook, and although I am not Thai, I know that they were very basic interpretations of traditional Thai recipes to suit a western palate. For example, there is no Tamarind in their Pad Thai. Woks on induction cooktop and instructed to cook on a very low heat. Don’t recommend for anyone who is looking to learn more deeply about technique / flavours / unique ingredients.

One of the funnest and most memorable experiences in Phuket. Pum is an incredible teacher and person with a smile that will enchant you right away. My girlfriend and I had no knowledge of any kind of Asian cuisine. After spending 3 hours with Pum and her amazing staff, we have enough basics to return back and make great meals. Do yourself a favour and come here. Thank you so much, Pum!

We went here for a 3 hour cooking class. The staff were all very attentive, engaged and knowledgeable. The programme we worked though covered most of the basics of Thai cooking and we all got to make (and eat!) 3 delicious dishes of our choice. We also got plenty of opportunities to take photos and most importantly ask questions about how to recreate the dishes with ingredients and tools back home. The sample recipe book already includes instructions for classics like Pad Thai and green curry but through out the session you'll get a chance to add plenty of notes too. The only drawback was the our hotel had old leaflets in their lobby so we were expecting to pay 200 baht less than we did. Overall it was a fun and informative experience and I'd recommend it for anyone interested in the Thai cuisine.

I went all in, with the 6 hour course with Pum. A enjoyable way to spend the day and at the same time create your own meals. Going to the Fresh Market further away was amazing too. Great people, easy to understand, hands on instruction, good for all ages and skill levels. They were nice enough to take photos for me too. But you gotta beg for more PET PET PET!

I stopped by with my family 16 April around 7 pm to make a reservation for a cooking class and was told they were having a private cooking event and to come back another day. I informed the man that came to the door that I just wanted to make a reservation for a future date and he rudely said to go away and come back early some other day. I've taken classes at Pom's five times over the years and I'm shocked at the overall negative attitude of individual. First he waved me off, then he came over and said go away. I will find another place to take my family for cooking classes.

Overall we had a good time at this cooking class. All the staff especially our cooking instructor made the experience very joyful. Try not to eat anything before you go because you'll be cooking and eating A LOT of yummy food. Pros: - The staff were super friendly, helpful, and always smiling - The cooking class structure was well planned, informative, and engaging - The cooking instructions were clear and easy to follow - everything prepared for you in advance - The food tasted great Cons: - The overall price was a bit high

Booked a 3-hour cooking class from 4-7pm. Arrived quite late but the trainers were accommodating. The only other participants were an Indian family so we had more than enough time with the trainers. Liked that there was some theory on spices and sauces the Thais usually use in their cuisine. There was also a short tour of the place. The trainers were all approachable and nice, and took pictures for us during the class. You could also purchase some beverages for an extra charge. I was served a cup of herbal tea for free which was a nice gesture. One small issue was that I expected food to be consumed only at the end of the class (took approx 2.5 hrs). I definitely was not expecting us to be eating the first course at late 4pm (still so full from lunch) so do take note. We were also kind of left hanging at the end; would be nice to have a debrief and a nice photo taken.

Amazing experience! My friend and I did the "Pum's little wok" course which was exactly what we were looking for. We learned to cook 4 dishes and they were incredibly tasty! I can safely say that I will be able to make these again at home. Our instructors Nong and Tuki were very kind and answered all our questions. I will recommend this course to anyone visiting Thailand.

We had a fun time cooking at Pum's 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳 we made Chicken & Cashew, as well as Pad Thai. Recipes were great because we managed to cook a decent meal 😋🤪 Staff were friendly and cheerful. They supplied us with everything and gave good clear instructions. They were also helpful when some of us lost our noodles and gave him an extra serving 👍 Appreciate all the effort 🙏

Had a great cooking class session. Our instructor (forgive me, I do not remember your name) was amazing, very informative about the dishes and their ingredients. She was extremely kind and enthusiastic, which contributed greatly to the whole experience. Had a short tour at a local market as well, which was a nice addition. A minor thing about the preparations for the dishes - they are already done for you and personally I would have preferred to do them myself, but I guess time is a factor here. Thank you Pum and the staff <3

A really clean and organized cooking school! My friend and I did the little shoes cooking school with 3 dishes and 3 hours. We took a 3h cooking class along with another family. They told us the basic rules of Thai cuisine; we tasted and smelled sauces and aromatics and talked about chosen recipes. We were laughing the whole 3h and took pictures throughout the experience. I'll recommend you to listen to your teachers, because they are awesome 🙏💕

Fun experience learning how to cook some of Thailand's most famous dishes The food and service was great...each student was responsible for their own cooking! The class started off by giving a quick guide on what the translation was of Thai dishes into English. Worth knowing quickly and helping out at other eateries in Thailand. Upstairs was where the cooking actually took place. There was 6 of us in this class so we all worked on our individual induction hobs and were expertly guided through the stages of the actual cooking. It's air conditioned inside so a very comfortable environment to be cooking in. A bit of fun injected here and there and 90 minutes later, 3 dishes cooked and eaten. Top tip.... don't eat beforehand as 3 protein rich dishes will leave you full.

Just took a 4 hr cooking class there with the market visit. If I could give 6 stars, I would. I have taken over 40 cooking classes in multiple countries, and this was by far the best, including NYC (my hometown) . All of the reviews were accurate. Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service. The menue is amazing and the market cisit is a must-do. Clean, well-organized, and well coordinated operation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My partner and I did the three course three hour class and it was brilliant! The staff are so lovely, welcoming, enthusiastic and also very entertaining. We made noodles, curry and a soup. All three were tasty and we left feeling confident how to make each dish. Would HIGHLY recommend this place. A nice touch was that I hadn’t even met the owner before however she knew my name and who I was (staff must’ve informed who we were etc) - small things make it all the better.

Prices are very cheap compared to other restaurants with the same quality food. Menu has offers where you cook your own food (30 minutes) and eat yourself, great if you are not in a rush. Foods available are predominately Thai and arrive quickly if you order directly from the menu. Was happy with the overall experience at the place and would go again. Portions served are large.

Took my family here for a cooking class and we had so much fun. Each person got to pick 2 different recipes to cook and eat after you make them. We learned a lot about the basics and were given a cookbook to take with us after the class. We all really enjoyed learning the similarities between different dishes, cooking together, and then getting to eat our cooking. Would definitely recommend this as a fun, family friendly activity.

We did the basic 45 minute/two dish cooking class. You learn a lot before and during, with so much care taken by who you’re looked after. We had Jun/Geun who was AMAZING. So thorough and funny, with fantastic English and knowledge of the world. I thought for sure we wouldn’t be able to come close to making proper tasting good Thai food and to our surprise it was amazing! We couldn’t get enough, even though we rolled out of there happy and full! Do it. It’s cheap and quick and the end product is delicious, plus you learn so much and keep the recipe book!

The prices of the cooking lessons are a bit pricey, even for off peak season (May) whereas other tourist activities are a lot cheaper/highly discounted. So we went for the cheaper option of cooking 2 dishes in 45 minutes. The cooking instructions were clear. The ingredients were all measured for you before the lesson begins so all you had to do was wok. Our cooking stations were a bit tightly packed together, it made me feel a bit unsafe as the hot plates were so close together we could accidentally burn our neighbours, there were 2 rows of 5 but there was only 4 people cooking so it could have been arranged to be a little bit more spacious. Though having said this, no one got hurt so my worries might be over worrying. Our option meant that we didn't walk to the banzaan market to get to better know the ingredients. We decided we could do it in our own time. The list recipes we selected from was quite small, there were about 10 options. Nevertheless, it contained very popular (and not too basic) dishes such as green chicken curry and pad thai. The chef outfits we were given added a bit more glam. So all in all my husband and I felt our although quick time there was very rewarding and cant wait to show off our cooking to our friends back home.

****Recommended**** That was my 2nd time to participate 4 hours cooking class. Faye is our teacher today. She can speak fluent English and she took us to the local market how to choice food. The class was very engaged, structured and details. We had so much fun with her. We learnt 4 dishes our choice per each person. It was so easy to learn and I enjoyed every minute. At the end of the class, we had a lovely chat with the owner, Pum. She was so friendly and passion about healthy food. She gave me some cooking tools for free as my xmas presents which I wasn't expected. Well done, Pum. You are my highlights for my Phuket Trip. If you would like to learn true, health local Thai cuisine, you need to go to Pum's Kitchen.
