✅ One of the best Thai restaurants in Phuket that I’ve eaten in. Very reasonable price & the food are super delicious 😋. The ingredients they use are really fresh. Every dish that we ordered were good. The owners are super friendly & down to earth too 👍🏻 Really worth my while traveling from the beach side to here. Will come again to try their hot pot! Tip on ordering: try those dishes with the gold seal in the menu.

Nice local restaurant, their fresh juices are REALLY good! Sweet & sour pork was amazing and the beef was absolutely gorgeous… unfortunately the chicken we had was not the best. We were seated very fast and served by very friendly staff, they were very accommodating and would defo recommend if your in the area.

We tried some fresh fish here ( fried and on grill ) and it was delicious. Also the coconut soup 🍲 was tasty. The only thing which was very suspicious was the desert which was some gelatine with ice which didn't have any taste.

Popped in for simple and delicious Thai food and I was not disappointed. Place has air condition and place is packed with both locals and tourists. There is a good selection of food in the menu and prices are super cheap. We ordered seafood tom yum soup, stir fry morning glory with crispy pork, red curry shrimp stir fry and basil chicken stir fry. The dishes came out very quickly and were all delicious. The shrimps especially were fresh and succulent. My advice is that the portions are not big (as reflected by the price), so order more dishes as you would normally do and your palate will be satified by the variety of Thai food.

MUST-VISIT. Definitely the best restaurant we’ve visited in the town! It was recommended by a receptionist in our hotel (although she warned us it’s a real Thai cuisine and we might not like it [really?😅 that’s what I came to Thailand for!]). Anyway, we’ve spent 2 weeks there and could not find any better place so we then gave up and ate only there (probs 6 times😆). - It’s hard to recommend a single dish since the menu is quite broad and every time we tried something else (except from a grilled fish - heaven). No matter what we chose, everything was delicious (okay, to be honest - apart from European meals such as pizza or hamburger but let’s be clear - who eats that in Thailand? We had a kid with us so you know…😀). And I’m not joking - we’re a group of 6 and there was no situation that someone didn’t like the dish. TOP. - the portions are big so be careful when ordering - I also wanted to try everything and every time ended up asking for a box to take the food with me back to the hotel😀 - If you’re brave enough and want to try something that cannot be more authentic and more “Thai”, do make sure you ask for an additional menu. I noticed they don’t give it to tourists and it’s mostly in Thai. When I was trying to order Som Tam Thai salad, the waitress asked me 3 times whether I’m sure😅 she tried to convince me that I wouldn’t like it since it stinks and only Thai people like it. I ordered it anyway and yes, it was stinky but delicious! - Even though restaurant gets busy almost all the time (maybe apart from the mornings - yes, we ate breakfast there too), the service is quick and waiting time is not long - And the prices! Super super affordable. Frankly speaking, we didn’t manage to find cheaper place with that quality and taste (not counting the food on the street which ofc is cheaper but not as good). I cannot believe you can get food that is so delicious in that price, crazy. All the ingredients are very fresh and they put a lot of them in every single dish. It’s not like in Europe when you order shrimp pasta and you get 3 shrimps. TOP. Oh, it got a bit long but I don’t care. One might think that they paid me for this review but I was simply amazed. I cannot remember when I visited the place that tasty and that consistent (!). HIGHLY RECOMMEND, I wish I could visit it again. P.S The fact that you’d meet there a lot of locals also means something :)

I would not want to peek in the kitchen or see a health report, but the cooks know how to make a dish and the young servers are of high quality. I will visit again (and update if needed). 150b + 50b tip got me a Coke and:

Simple, easy and local flavour open air restaurant. Dish portion tend to be for 1 to 2 person sharing, not too big not too small. 7 of us all loved the grilled fishes, chicken wings on a stick, glass noodles, stir fried instant noodles and spring rolls. Wait, I think thats almost all of the dishes we ordered !! The crews clean up tables quick and need not wait for too long for the food to be served. This place is a magnet for tourist and locals alike and they have free wifi. Highly recommended !!

Came here to taste the best local foods. I heard their crab curry was the best in Phuket so I tried. The crab itself was sweet and excellent but the taste of the sauce was too strong for me.

Doo Dee • Another gem that we found only a couple of minutes away from our hotel in Patong. We tried their Chicken Pad Thai and it's one of the tastiest we've ever had in Phuket. Also exceptional are their Shrimp in red curry sauce, Chicken with cashew nuts, Prawn Tom Yum, stir-fried morning glory and chicken wings.

This is a very small Thai restaurant catering to a local traditional and picturesque residential area. There is a variety of Thai dishes - see photos and menu - at local prices and very tasty. The chicken satay is not dry like you'll often find in the markets with a very good peanut/coconut dipping sauce. The vinegared cucumber and shallot garnish dish is also fantastic. Definitely making this a regular local go-to for lunch or dinner place. Staff are lovely.

I like the bbq king prawn. The prawn was big. We had the tom yam chicken it's creamy taste for me not so like it. While for the pad thai, kailan, pork, those were average taste for me. Dishes potion not big.. overall its ok.

Really love this place. I tried it first time 2 years ago. I have been craving tom yum from Doo Dee all this time and finally I managed to come back. It’s really delicious, I would say the best one I tried. If you like tom yum as much as I do than come to Doo Dee. Everything was super nice. I love service in Asia. KAPUNKA 🙏

The food is very tasty special padthahi Only negative point is the food service is not right I ordered fish and rice my rice came so quick but after 20 minutes my fish is coming and my rice get cold it and same for another group some friends get food some get after 20 minutes otherwise the taste of food and price is really good if I recommend yes I do 🙂

Atmosphere was alright. Staff were friendly. Food wasn’t so great . Again serving for the westerners taste buds , slightly bland and some food which were suppose to be spicy turned out sweet 🤦🏻‍♂️

As someone trying to find well priced food, lots of it and well prepared - this blew my mind. Loved every dish, went twice (once by myself to gore a little!) and can assure anyone who is hunting for a tight meal with lots of authenticity and spice - this is where you want to be. The King of the BBQ is out front showing his skills that clearly are paying their bills and deserves a raise!

This is one of the restaurant with good food that the locals and tourist eat in Patong. The BBQ Chicken Wing is delicious but the stir fry pork with mint can be skipped if you can't eat spicy food as it's actually quite spicy. The Thai Iced tea and Rose Syrup with milk is tasty and cooling especially during hot weather. Overall damage is about 500 baht and would definitely revisit again to try their Grilled fish and seafood.

It took a while for some dishes to arrive. Curry swimmer crab was good and papaya salad was so spicy. But price was cheap compared to Bangkok. Very busy place.

Visited Doo Dee Thai food 3 times in our trip because it was so good ! Our favourite was tha pad thai and the kra pow and would recommend ordering these ! . Very affordable and dishes were served quickly . Could give the claypot vermicelli a miss ,I felt the lemon grass was overpowering the taste of the prawns and noodle.

Our first meal in Phuket, Thailand. Absolutely incredible!! Got the fried crab curry and red shrimp curry. So flavourful and delicious. Nice and spicy too. The iced coffee was refreshing as well!

A fairly large restaurant with Thai and international cuisine with a focus on international tourists (mainly Farangs). The restaurant menu has a large selection of dishes, including grilled fish (prepared outside the restaurant). The restaurant is also popular with Thais. Service is very good, but when the restaurant is full there are some acceptable delays. Prices in May 2022 were lower than now (February 2023) - I understand that it was still "COVID time" in Thailand and a lot less tourists than now. In February 2023 this restaurant was almost always full in the evening. The restaurant is especially popular with Russian tourists. They have, sometimes, long and, sometimes, noisy dinners (7-12 people) with strong alcohol. This is sometimes the case with Thai people too. I have been to this restaurant many times. Despite some shortcomings, I will come back here again.

Food is good. Prices are really cheap. Visited here 2x during my 4D trip. Will recommend all others to visit here as well

Very cheap and tasty food, Tom Kha was amazing! This restaurant gets too busy, but they have another much quieter branch at Nanai 8 street. It is towards the end of Nanai 8, just opposite of Tops Daily supermarket.

This was a good place to try authentic thai food at a reasonable pricing in phuket. The tom yum was one of the best i ever had (and i had tried a few!), rich in flavor, creamy and more importantly authentic taste. Would love to visit this place again. Highly recommended!

good quality food at more than cheap prices. the important thing is to be satisfied with the quality of the arrangement at the table, truly spartan. I especially liked shrimps with garlic and black pepper
