This is the best restaurant we’ve been to in Phuket! Yeah, it’s expensive in terms of Thai prices, so main dishes are around 300-450 baht, which isn’t much if you look at the size and quality. The service is amazing and the restaurant itself has a stunning view. In the evening, there is a piano playing in the background. The whole atmosphere here is very special - I truly recommend it.

Food taste is rather plain and simple, best for tourist. Taste is not authentic Thai at all and very pricy comparing to portion. We ordered steamed fish and cost 600+ THB per dish. Staff is attentive and polite.

Beautiful place. Very upmarket Thai restaurant. Right on the beach side with a wonderful view. The food is very nicely done and presented. Really loved every dish ordered. 3 mains, 2 desserts, 3 drinks all up less than USD60.

Breathtaking view! Now that that's out of the way, we can talk about the food.. 😀. The food is authentic Thai and tastes amazing. The spice quotient was a bit mellow for my taste as some of the Thai dishes which usually are spicy were not as much, like the Tom Yum Goon. I went with a large group from work so the menu was pre set but no complains as it was a great menu served. The lobster was huge and 😋. Crab curry with rice noodles was exquisite and so was the tradional dumpling elegantly severed designed like a violet flower. The drink menu is rich and should have something for all the guests. I ordered a long island ice tea and it was very good. We closed the show with sticky rice and mango. The ambience and service is good and they had some nice live piano being played lending melody 🎶 to the ocean waves dancing and creating it's own music. A bit pricey on the pocket but a must visit if are around here. 👍

Would I eat here again, absolutely. I have read a few review here before I went here and some people complain about the price. For me this is comprehended since you are not only paying for the food but also for location and service. And let me say, the service is absolutely impencable. We ordered a few bottles of wine and the Glas was never empty. Special request were handled very well and everyone had a smile to share. So service is really good. The view is also nice since you have a good view on Patong and the ocean. The food is reasonably priced with a menue price of about 1400b depending on the menue you choose. Everything is served on high quality plates and also the cutlery is high quality and changed with every course. Food is nice although always subjective. Overall a nice place with superb service with great food Only thing I would like to point out is the price for espresso which I think could be optimized. But yes I would definaltely come again. Thank you for the great service. Oh and yes, also the cocktails were nice. One other thing to mention which many people fail to review are the restrooms They are also top notch with little individual towels to dry your hand. Thinking about people complain about the price I just have to say, if it is too much for you, then just go and have noodle soup for 30B. Sorry for being so blunt.

This place is a classic, its been around since the 90s. They moved to a new, larger location in 2015 so it feels updated and slightly more modern with lots of pink for some reason. The food is still excellent, and the service even better. Refreshing to come to a high-end restaurant in a pretty touristy part of town and feel like you’re getting treated well. Chan was our server/manager and he did a great job. Prices here are definitely higher than the average but i think its worth it, highlights were the duck curry, sweet pork fried rice and fried fish with chilli. Everything was great!

What an absolute delight! On arrival we were greeted kindly by the staff and led to our ocean front table (would recommend you book in advance and request). The venue is gorgeous, a blend of Thai and modern setting, over what I think was three floors although I can confirm two, both ocean facing and both spacious with plenty of staff to cater for you at call. The menu offers a large variety of regional Thai cuisine from the north to south, local Phuket and some famous recipes most likely known over the world. We ordered the squid from the recommendations menu, the rolled prawns and the pork chilli selection of starters. Add the deep fried fish with spicy sauce and the chicken and garlic noodle which were just devine. I could not fault a thing about the venue, service, speed, drink selection, quality of food and the view. Yes by comparison you’re paying more but when you walk in, meet the friendly staff, try the food and wine/drinks you will definitely understand why. Most definitely be back. Thanks to the team for the birthday photo and song (albeit after a warm up 😉). My advice, try here for a nice meal in this fantastic location. You won’t be disappointed.

The building is like an elegant old house. I felt like i should take off my shoes to go in. We sat on the edge of the wrap around balcony with a fantastic view of the blue ocean. Our papaya salad came on a carved papaya and tasted good. The delicious dumplings are shaped like beautiful flowers the color of the ocean. The fried whole fish was very good too. The service was attentive and polite. We can't understand why there are such bad reviews of this place.

My recent dining experience at this restaurant was a true delight you have visit it around 6 pm to enjoy the sunset. The restaurant's breathtaking view added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. I savored the delicious fried rice and perfectly cooked calamari, and the coffee was a lovely way to end the meal. But the highlight was to enjoy drinking the coconut. If you're looking for good food, great ambiance, and a delightful treat, this restaurant has it all!

We visited Baan Rim Pa for a friends birthday. We were fortunate enough to be seated at a table right next to the balcony to enjoy the ocean view. We ordered a variety of seafood dishes including grilled spiny lobster, curry crab, and shrimp rolls along with a bottle of sparkling wine. All of the curry dishes we ordered were delicious and well spiced. The whole fish we ordered was mostly boneless which made the eating experience much more enjoyable. It was cooked in a garlic sauce and was tasty. The grilled lobster was huge and tender. While the lobster was good, I felt it would have been tastier cooked in a curry sauce instead of grilled like how we ordered it. If you decide to come here I would definitely recommend it cooked in some kind of sauce. For dessert we got a mango sticky rice. The mango was ripe and juicy. Overall, I felt that the food was mostly delicious but slightly overpriced. You’re definitely paying a premium for the amazing ocean view the restaurant is known for. I would recommend this restaurant for those looking to celebrate a special occasion or wanting an amazing view with some decent food to pair.

Beautiful sunset view, wonderful service and lovely piano music. A great selection Thai food at very reasonable prices and really tasty cocktails. They also do set menus and course menus which would be great for date nights.

First time eating at this restaurant considering I have been here 8 times. Wow what a fantastic place. The views are breath taking. I could not fault any dish we had they were amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone that wishes to experience great food with fine dinning.

Very nice food, service and atmosphere. You can't compare it against local restaurants but the food is very tasty. Crab curry is real value, and the pork belly is a very good. Would I eat here again....yes!

I already gave up to find anything decent in Phuket, but randomly found this place. Amazing food, top service and atmosphere. Great views. Great selection of drinks, variety of whiskies. Must visit.

We recently went here for dinner. Loved our candle light dinner under the moonlight. Was perfect and extremely romantic. The foods greats. Flavour packed and completely spot on. The highlight of our meal were the thai dumpling with crab and chicken. They melted in our mouth and totally flavour packed. We also ordered the herbed salad with beans prawn and chicken. Very good salad but literally had only 2 prawns in it. We ordered the fried pork with balsamic leaves, massaman curry with chicken and chicken fried rice. The curry was outstanding. The fried rice was good but had more chunks of chicken and less rice. Overall loved the experience, had a great time and enjoyed the meal. Do note this is fine dining place so do dress well and expensive as compared to alot of resturants in Phuket.

A beautiful experience. It was a telling sign of what was to come as we entered this venue, you are completely flawed by the beauty of this restaurant. We were walked down stairs to the lower decking and placed on the balcony looking out to the ocean. As the night got darker the lights to the left on the hills lit up and it was an amazing view. The food, my God was sensational. The entrees are generous so probably wise to share them between two people as you will struggle finish your main if you have the entire entree. All of the food was outstanding, quality Thai authentic food and by far the best food we have had on our trip! I strongly advise you to eat at this restaurant when visiting Phuket, the pricing is very reasonable. 4 of us all had 2 alcohol drinks each, an entree and a main and it was just on 5000 baht in total ($225 Australian). The workers are lovely and we tipped our waiter well. What an experience!

One of the finest Thai Restaurants in Phuket with ample food options, great views of the Seas, well managed staff and delicious food.. The restaurant is located just beside the ocean which gives you a beautiful view while you have food.. The people serving you the food or taking the order are spontaneous, well mannered, nicely dressed and knowledgeable regarding the food they are serving.. The Food Wass hmmmmmmm... So tempting and beautifully presented that you can't really hold your hunger... The fried prawn and green Thai curry were the winners along with Mango Sticky rice.. Really beautiful ambience. The food was really delicious and wholesome too. The crab curry with noodles, the satay and the calamari was a good call. Slightly on the expensive side but worth the hospitality and ambience.

I came here looking for a restaurant where I could watch the sunset on Patong Beach. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the customer service were wonderful, and above all, the food was amazing 🇹🇭 I didn't understand the menu very well, but I was able to show the photo and order. We recommend making a reservation!

We saved it for our last dinner in Thailand and don't regret it. One of the best restaurants in phuket. It is more expensive than average prices but it is in higher level. Portions are good. We even ordered desert and the water chestnut was amazing.

Have been visiting Baan Rim Pa for many years and had a wonderful meal in our recent trip. They have maintained the quality of the food consistently over years and one of the best restaurants for a delicious meal. We tried their set menu this time and it came with a wide variety of dishes and all of them were delicious, perfectly cooked and presented beautifully. Lobster was an absolute standout. Fresh, buttery in the mouth and cooked perfectly. Service was also on point and we loved being back there.

The food is really good and restaurant have magnificent view of the sea and city lights. .. make sure to book early if you want the best view. Prices are on the high side but it's OK for special occasions.

The view, location and service are great, especially with the sunset scene. In term of the food and its taste, I would say it's too much westernized. As a Thai person, it's pretty mild and too gentle. I wouldn't recommend for those who can handle or like the strong authentic Thai cuisine's flavor. Ok-ish for those who are new to Thai food of want to have a relaxing evening moment.

Lovely spot for a romantic diner, beautiful building with open views over the ocean. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food was OK but a little on the expensive side. Don’t order the Martini, the bar person needs a lesson or two in what makes a good one.

This restaurant is epic. I was last here several years ago with my son and since then they've moved it, lock stock and barrel two km up the road. Everything is the same, except the amount of customers because of the virus and I'm positive they'll return as soon as we get some normality. This beautiful building and remarkable food will blossom again.

Beautiful food, helpful staff, very accommodating, polite and professional. Recommending dishes and assisting in choosing options. Taste of food is excellent. Great flavours and the views can be great also during the day or night as sea view and island lights can be seen through panoramic balconies. Must have as an experience.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here overlooking the ocean. The ambiance is beautiful with the candle lit table and seaside location. Our servers were very attentive and the food was always delivered quickly. Everything we tried was authentic and delicious, with great care taken in the presentation. Definitely recommend for a romantic evening dinner.

The location is very nice. We had the fancy meal seeing the sunset. The food taste good too. However, after going home, 2/3 of us having bad stomach ache. One even vomit. I don't know if it's because of the food but we didn't eat anything else though.

Dinner at 20:00 was two hours after sunset. This particular night there was a thunderstorm that would light up the entire sky. It was dramatic yet romantic. Our table was great, giving us an overview of the restaurant and other guests yet we had complete privacy. It was perfect for what was about to happen later The staff were very friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond when I enlisted them in my devious plan - even if I did so at short notice. They helped pick out great options for appetizers and main courses from the menu. They would observe our table and step in whenever needed, yet gave lots of privacy for our romance to evolve. And they happily helped capture the main event using my phone: my PROPOSAL to my girlfriend! This made me very happy, because not only was Baan Rim Pa the PERFECT setting for my proposal with is romantic and awesome views, but the whole evening was great experience. We had so much fun! And she said YES! and thanks to the awesome staff I have something to show friends and family. I'm so grateful! The dining experience at Baan Rim Pa is several levels above that of any restaurant in Patong. It should be a MUST DO on your list of activities in Phuket.
