True hidden gem in the vicinity of Patong Beach, run by a family. The Thai seafood offerings were all equally incredible. The cool grandma, who owns the restaurant made us laugh and also offered us her signature shrimp fried rice and fried chicken. When hospitality is combined with lip-smacking dishes, the dining experience becomes truly memorable. Will definitely go again in case I visit Phuket in the future. 5 stars all the way!

We visited this restaurant looking at google reviews and we were extremely happy with our choice We ordered red curry with shrimps and noodles. Both were delicious. They prepare the food as per your preference (eg: less/more spicy). The food deserves 5 stars and the staff is warm and helpful. The owner and her hospitality however deserves nothing less than 7 stars. We knew Thai people are very hospitable but what we experienced here was simply too good. To start with she has a very sweet and welcoming personality and she visits the tables to talk personally as well. When we visited today for dinner, it started to rain heavily. She herself got a poncho and gave it to us and even helped me put it on. We will remember her sweet gesture as one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand!

Went for lunch during on Saturday, and it was a pretty clean and easy walk. It was a properly established restaurant, clean and well organised. Food is simple yet tasty. For an average guy I find the portion slightly larger than usual. Ordered minced pork, omelette, tomyam gung, morning glory, pineapple fried rice and 2 drinks. It all come to around 750baht. Owner is very friendly and talked about the cannabis plants he has. First time seeing a real cannabis plant in my life. Awesome! Ps: the minced pork look smaller in the picture, but the portion is more than usual elsewhere.

I highly recommend Orange Restaurant when in Patong beach! The owners were very nice and are running a wonderful restaurant! The food portions are large and at great prices! You can get a great yellow noodle soup for only 120baht and stir fried vegetables with beef for 150baht. There are tons of great options and it is probably the best restaurant in Phuket area!

Such a lovely restaurant. Got a chicken Pad Thai which was delicious. Staff were so friendly and welcoming plus gave free watermelon at the end of the deal which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend for a meal.

The place is really nice! Amazing pad Thai, big portions, big tasty shrimps. A lot of attention and care from the staff, they check on you all the time. If you need, they give you a mosquito spray. In the end they give you watermelon as a gift, so sweet. It’s a family business so it’s really nice to see how they help each other and care about you

I only had breakfast here and it was very good. Prices are low and service is fast. If you like breakfast give a try to one of omlet menu with coffee or tea and orange juice, you will thank me later :) As per menu, salads and main dishes looks good too.

Wow, two terrific restaurants in the back of this alley way. Orange was a great find here in Phuket. The ambience is clean, well maintained. Staff is helpful and attentive. Price was very reasonable to good. Food was DELICIOUS on all ends!!! Ordered the pad thai and it was THE BEST pad thai, I’ve had in 20 years of eating pad thai. Flavors and noodles were blended very well. The papaya salad was very well flavored, not too spicy as requested. Surprise hit was the crab dish, which had sweet succulent crab meat, combined with a sweet and tart fried onion sauté, Crazy how good it was. Coconut ice cream for only 40 THB is a sweet deal and finish. Currently a 4.5 average rating by google. I wish I could give it even more than 5 stars to put this higher up on the review ratings. Thanks google for helping me to even find it in the first place!

The yellow curry with chicken was excellent. It was a lovely mild curry, with nice flavours. Cheap beer 45THB for a Chang. I came back the next day for breakfast. They have a range all for 99THB. 2 eggs, bacon/ham, coffee, juice and bread. I choose the brown bread it was excellent. I would guess homemade, German style.

The restaurant is simple, but the food is tasty and cheap! A must go if you’re around 💕 the coconut shake was delicious, I recommend it! Staff were friendly, specially the old lady (probably the owner), she was attentive and adorable.

The owner is extremely kind and friendly. We had all our meals here during our trip to Phuket. The food is amazing. We fell in love with Thai food. They also provide complimentary fruits after meals!

They promptly greeted us upon arrival and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. One thing that stood out was their exceptional attentiveness to our needs. As they noticed us overheating, they kindly provided us with two fans to help us cool down, which was a thoughtful gesture that enhanced our dining experience. While most of the dishes we ordered were delicious, I did find one flaw in the otherwise delightful meal—the fried squid. Unfortunately, it was a bit too salty for my taste. The squid itself was cooked well, but the excessive saltiness somewhat overshadowed the flavors. It would be great if they could adjust the seasoning in the future to strike a better balance. Despite the minor issue with the fried squid, I would still recommend Orange Restaurant for its overall excellent Thai cuisine. The attentive staff and their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort were highly appreciated.

If I can rate the food zero star, I would. Pad Thai was nothing more than a Chinese tomato egg style (nothing close to a proper pad Thai). Curry pork was super salty and pork was dark, tough and therefore probably not fresh. Served a spoilt coconut and was replaced with an ordinary coconut which was old and not sweet. Definitely a tourist trap. I would recommend not to fall for it please. I did not finish my food. Just can’t go on.

Ordered the green curry and pad Thai. Both were bad. When owner asked why we didn’t finish our food, we told him that that the green curry was overly salty and the pad thai doesn’t even taste like a pad Thai. Owner was shocked when we told him, so wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t make any improvements to his food in the near future.

I’ll give a 0 star if it’s possible! Very general taste, Green curry has too much coconut milk, we can’t finished it. The food has no soul. Come here if you want to waste your money.

The best service. Good food and low price. We stopped past for take away and were seated inside while we wait for our food. We explained one of us was too unwell to sit and eat and we were given a complimentary tea to ease the stomach. They even gave us some free watermelon with our dinner. Surprised this place wasn’t full from wall to wall. Highly recommend.

A couple things to note from this restaurant (1) portion sizes of the Thai food are slightly bigger than the average patong place - plus (2) the food is well priced - plus (3) the service is very prompt and friendly - plus (4) chicken cashew nut was good with lots of cashews - plus. Now on the other hand…. (5) the beef in the beef stir fry was some of the toughest meat I have ever eaten - really spoiled that dish - they should cook beef when ordered and not precook so far in advance (6) if you coke here - it needs to be for the food - as the location is a bit random and no views - and the were cracking electricity lines overhead (7) the rice seems like it had been steam a lot earlier, and wasn’t fresh.

Probably the best pad thai and soup my wife and I have had in our lives. Beef was over cooked and to our surprise the staff didn’t charge us for it after realizing we didn’t eat it. Overall, would highly recommend everyone to try this place out. Its phenomenal.

Amazing restaurant. I was first a bit confused by the various cuisines featured on the menu, such as schnitzel or spaghetti. The Thai dishes however were amazing and my whole family left very satisfied. It's clean and spacious. The moment we sat down, they pointed several of their floor fans to us for additional cooling. The lady who runs the restaurant is an absolute gem. To our surprise, she spoke excellent German as well.

The best Tom Yam soup I had in Phuket. Shrimp glass noodle is also a must try. Environment is clean.

Food was delicious and we went there for brunch. It was good to learn through experience that an insect bite can be cured through hard boiled egg. Thank you Orange Restaurant for going above and beyond with your hospitality - it was impeccable.

Great little place! They have a lot of Thai options (western too). We ate there twice the same week - all was really good, service was lovely, and the prices very good. The place is also 1 minute walk off the road, so accessible but also has a quiet space around it away from the busy street. The owner Mrs. Nit chatted with us on our 2nd visit, and you can just see that this is a person that has passion for food, for cooking and for serving customers. It shows. Fully recommend this place!

I loved coming here every morning for breakfast. The prices are very fair and you can choose between many different dishes. The owners and waiters are friendly and appreciative. Definitely go here if you don’t have hotel breakfast.

Hidden gem with above and beyond quality of service. Staff is always nice and ready to please your needs. Everything we ever asked, for example: lighter, additional hot water, or lemon instead of lime, was met with a smile and quick action. Main manager (nicest old lady in the world) comes in in later hours to make sure everything is ok. Have menus in English, Russian and Chinese. Both Thai and European foods are represented sufficiently. Prices are just about right for the quality of dishes. Been here three times so far and will visit again. Good for groups, but reserve up front for more than 4 people, as this place is very busy during evening hours. You receive a small gratitude at the end of your meal in form of slices of fresh fruits (check picture). Simply awesome and a must visit.
