Though a older hotel, the rooms are beautifully clean and get cleaned every day. The location is great right on the beach ⛱. The infinity pool is beautiful. The only thing is that there isn't much variety for breakfast , that got boring on day 4 out of a 10 night stay. The meals in the restaurant though good, not much of a selection. Having said that though, a 10 minute walk on the beach, you'll find a bunch of cafe's and restaurants, I highly recommend that. 👌

We choose a jacuzzi villa unit close to a very nice beach, and that was an adventure. To wake up in the morning with such a view from your bed, wow! A private jacuzzi outside the room, and a very nice pool area at the hotel main building made this choice of hotel perfect. Very good breakfast buffét and room service.

We had an amazing stay at the Novotel Kamala, which unfortunately included a 10 day isolation due to a positive covid test. The hotel were so accommodating, and very fair the cost of our quarantine. We felt so lucky to be staying there. They dropped the price of the room for the quarantine and provided everything we needed. Aside from this, the resort is excellently located in a beautiful part of the Kamala beach, easily accessible to all the beach restaurants. The staff and management were all so nice. Food, drink was good and reasonably priced. Pool and kids club was great. Overall a 10/10 experience and we will be back. Thank you to all the team there, you were all great. And thanks for helping with our daughter. Best Regards Tim Golding and family

The location is in good proximity with most of the attractions to visit in the island and at the same time feels really private and peaceful! It has everything you could wish for a relaxed vacation: a huge lagoon swimming pool, and a perfect blend with nature with their own gardens. The rooms are spacious and within walking distance to the main areas of the resort. The food was very good and well served with a variety of options good for both adults and kids. The staff are extremely welcoming with guests and always ready to help with any request. I think it’s an excellent hotel and good value for money in Phuket and if I ever go back I know where I’ll be staying .

I'm a little disappointed in this property due to the following reasons. 1. The room was not very big(I got an ocean view room) and there were ants on the table, they kept on coming even after multiple cleaning. The bathroom was cramped and without any lock on the door. 2. The ocean view was not that great as it was blocked due to big trees in front of hotel 3. The swimming pool had dark flooring and low lighting around it. I didn't feel like using the pool after sunset 4. Shower beside the pool was near bush and it was unsafe to take shower in low light( a frog jumped when I switched on shower) 5. The beach in front was not well maintained 6. The entrance of the hotel is narrow 50-100 mtr. long passage. 7. The location was okay..

Fantastic hotel right on the beach. The rooms are new and very clean; the service excellent; and the pool and spa are just what you want. The restaurant is fine, but it's very easy to reach Kamala town after a short walk on the beach. For anyone coming to Phuket for a relaxing time, come to Novotel Kamala

It was pretty sad when we left the hotel. We had a unforgettable vacation here. Everybody, from the driver to the front desk is doing his best to make the stay as good as it gets. Even the baggage handler is so friendly. You really feel welcomed every second. The view, especially the sunset is just stunning. The hotel is directly behind the beach, so it’s really convenient to go in the sea whenever you want. Kamala beach is quiet but not too boring. There are plenty of restaurants, surfing school, travel agents available. 6 days are too short. We definitely will come back.

The location is good with many small restaurants and beautiful beach. However rooms are very old, no view and not comfortable. Breakfast very basic. As Accor gold member they couldn’t upgraded us bc the hotel is supposed to be fully booked. They offered free massage instead and finally advised it’s also fully booked. Scooter to rent also fully booked. I don’t recommend this place. Much better other place in the neighborhood.

Amazing place, insanely friendly and helpful staff. We booked an ocean view room and we got upgraded to an ocean view villa, with an even better view. The restaurant (Soul Kitchen) is great and reasonably priced. There is also a sky bar on the roof of the reception building, with live music and great cocktails. The beds were super comfy, the room was very clean, and it was very peaceful and calm.

Nice private beach. But the hotel is away from any shops. Some restaurants 5 or 10 minutes walk away. Hotel itself is nice. Breakfast was very good. Gym also good. Be careful when selecting a room, unless you select ocean view your balcony will be facing a brick wall and a carpark. Otherwise still a nice hotel.

What a beautiful hotel on the beach! The ‘On The Roof’ restaurant has great food and drinks. The hotel also has many promotions at the spa and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was amazing. This hotel is disabled and wheelchair friendly, just ask specifically for a disabled friendly room.

Love the efficient and friendly staff at check in itself. Prices quoted for taxi is reasonable. Good motorbike/car rent just next door. The beach isn't too clean although workers do their part to collect rubbish in the mornings. Pebbley type of beach and swimming is not allowed the few days we were there due to the strong current and waves. More suited for those who enjoy surfing. Swimming pool is clean and there are places for you to sit and hang out or even use the hammock. Love the view from our villa with jacuzzi.

Stayed here as my 50th birthday celebration. Service from staff was friendly enough and they tried hard to please. Location is in a beautiful setting. Nice and quiet. Food and Beverage offerings were good. However, the private pool villa kept having a power failure (four of them and after each time I was told the issue was "fixed") which finally resulted in a room change late at night - goodbye private pool! This place would be so lovely if the owners spent some money to update it! To be fair, management did end up offering adequate compensation (after having to chase them on my return home) but it did leave me with a flat feeling after my birthday with the issues encountered.

We went to the Bar on the roof for happy hour and dinner. The cocktails were 2 for 1 till 7.30 pm. The waitress was lovely and very attentive. The food was great and the view was spectacular. They had a singer who was good and quite funny. Lovely evening.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience! The hotel and rooms are lovely and fancy, with a comfy bed and bathroom, and the pool and bar is super nice and relaxing. There’s beautiful views of the hills and beach and there’s little markets and restaurants up the beach. The staff here are friendly and polite and very helpful! My only complaint is the dinner food. The breakfast buffet was lovely and tasty with a great variety, but I was really disappointed with the lunch and dinner food from the the restaurant. I ordered a beef burger the first night and asked for medium rare, and I was giving a squishy, flavourless and fatty all around pink patty in my burger. It was really off putting. For lunch the next day I ordered the pork belly, and was expecting some crispy yummy pork, and was given a few fat pieces of slimy squishy white balls of fat, with hardly any meat on them. I hardly ate any of it and didn’t order from the restaurant again. Would defs recommend going up the beach for dinner and lunch food, was much better tasting and quality.

Underwhelming. The Hotel online optics don't match what you actually see when you're there: 1) No toiletries, these had to be asked for. 2) Perhaps COVID has greatly affected the upkeep of the hotel, but the OVERALL maintenance of the entire place is greatly required. 3) Lifts reek of smoke and mustiness. 4) Hotel smells like an aquarium that hasn't been cleaned in ages- think algae, moss, musty. 5) We arrived when Typhoon Nesat had hit - considering we were there fora week, there were no specific concessions made, just apologies. 6) Soul Kitchen has received raving reviews but am not quite sure if these are paid one. Novotel should look to provide a more varied menu. 7) No day beds at the beach. Novotel hasn't much to offer. Yes it is a mid-priced range hotel but really ... the competition next door was doing a fabulous job. 8) Towels are so old, these should be changed. Service was great, hotel staff were welcoming and helpful though all this was sadly undermined by the above points mentioned.

You can’t complain about the service at this hotel because it’s excellent. The staff is doing their best with a building that has seen better days. But the odds are stacked against them. This paradise hotel is slowly falling to pieces before their eyes. Damp rooms with failing plumming and AC-units that can’t cool the rooms. Worn down bedsheets with holes and smudge. An endless maze of corridors with signs of leakage, water damage and early signs of mold. Signs here and there of an interior slowly decaying after years of neglect. After three room changes where one solved problem was replaced by a new flaw I’m ready to throw in the towel. I salute the hard working crew of this sinking ship bravely following this vessel to the bottom of the abyss.

A slightly tired hotel. In terms of repairs. Shabby blackout curtains. It would be great to upgrade the showers. All photos can be viewed in the reviews. But with great staff. ❤️ understanding, sensitive workers who really did everything to make us feel relaxed 🫶 Nice beach. Normal breakfasts. If you want to take a walk, go to the city along the beach. The exit from the hotel on the road is accompanied by a couple of fairly steep ascents. If they make a fresh repair, then exactly 5 stars.
