I wish I could give zero stars. You pay 200 per person for entrance and it gets you a free beer or "cocktail" which is basically horrible tasting slushy. They show you a photo on their menu of what the cocktail is and of course it's not a cocktail when you get it. There's not many people at the beach, tables and chairs are dirty and not maintained, there's bad quality music playing from an old speaker, staff are VERY rude. You gotta pay 1500 for a bed at the beach (they were all empty and dirty) and it doesn't all credit towards food or drinks (600 towards food) My drink had three mosquitoes in it and when I asked them to bring me a beer instead they refused. They gave me another slushy and the guy took some ice with his bare hands and put in my drink. Mind you, he was handling cash with the same pair of hands. I don't know what to say. I expect better from management for such a beautiful location.

Not bad Beach to go to but it does cost you 200 baht with a free taxi service down to the beach as it's a steep Road and you're not allowed to drive your scooter down to the entrance but it feels like a resort with lawn chairs and service of that kind. It's good for families or people that still need to feel like you're in a resort.

Beautiful beach, well worth the 100 baht entrance. Car transfer down to beach, chairs and a lady to brush the sand off your feet! Nice white sand beach with clear water and is good for swimming. Two parts of the beach, one has all the services and other is quieter. Food and drink not the cheapest, but not too bad. They don't let you take your own drinks or food! Other beaches had big waves and we're red flagged, as we were there in rainy season, but this place was calm. One of the best beaches in Phuket.

Great beach. Even tho the taxi cost around 400bath to get there and you have to pay 200bath ticket, which include chair and umbrella. I’d advise to go there early to get the best spot. However is a lovely white sandy beach, not excessively crowded with 2 bars, chill music and options for food.

Highly OVERRATED beach. Patong to the beach via tuk tuk is 300 baht. Then when you arrived they charge you 200 baht per person to enter. For that you get a sun chair to lay on which is far from the beach. You also get a transfer by Ute down to the beach area. You are not allowed to take your own water and snacks and are asked to leave it with them because they want you to pay triple the price down at their restaurant. The beach was covered by rocks as you walk in, so good luck to you if you don’t take beach slippers. On the way back, once you get off the transfer Ute at the top to leave, you can only use the taxis there. If a tuk tuk arrives to drop someone off, they cannot pick you up. Absolutely greedy behaviour by the locals.

SCAM !!! Don't go there! 200 bht entrance and you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks, even WATER which is vital in the heat! They check your bags for that. Not just a quick look but they actually move your stuff around. And when you say something they just laugh at you. We asked to get our money back and left. Better to go to the free beach which you will pass by before.

I went to the Full Moon Party and the shuttle that they said that would pick us up at Patong doesn’t exist. It was a struggle to go there by myself and to go back was even worst, Taxis were charging a lot because it was late and we had no other option. The staff kept saying that the shuttle would come but we could go by ourselves. To go back was like a Hunger Games, people would kill themselves for a taxi a van or a tuck tuck, and the prices were abusive.

Looking for a day by the beach? Paradise Beach should be the last resort. Not even close a “paradise” beach. You pay 200 bath for entrance, they are checking your bag and take away any food or drinks. Once at the beach, the small sunbeds are for free which ar far behind the beach. In front of the sea there are big sunbeds which are 800 bath extra cost. Well overproced food and drinks. Where the beach met the sea is full of small stones and as well the deep of the sea. So hard to walk empty food on the water. I guess it is good fun on the night time when is more about the live music. Overall, not the gratest beach to spend the day.

We walked from Tri Trang beach but never even went to Paradise beach. 200 baht per person just to get to the beach. I explained that all beaches in Thailand are free. We were told it was free but we had to pay for access or get a boat over from petong. I was told you get a sun lounger and an umbrella. I replied that we had beach mats and our own umbrella. So we were looking at £30 for our family of 6 just to get on the beach. NO THANKS. Rip off and not the Thailand I love and remember. Walked back to Tri Tang beach (20 mins) At the far end The Hideout has free sun loungers. Much better option for us. Photo is of Tri Tang beach

Great beach to go: as of Dec'21 the entrance cost 100 batt, it includes one drink, and transfer from entrance downhill to the beach. The beach itself is quite picturesque and has some infrastructure (incl. Beach bar with some food possible to order)

for cheap tourist , Beautiful beach , managed in the cheapest ways , possible . Old plastic sunbeds/chairs . Gave 500 bath for the towel deposit, waiter didn't give me the receipt , they kept the Money despite I had the towel with me.

Beautiful beach, very comfortable arrangement, very kind service. Water has somewhat sharp rocks which makes it a little less convinient to swim but altogether a very nice experience. A ride to the beach costs about 3$ per person

Without any parties this is a gem. With the full moon party it's not our thing. So if you like a beach with a bar on the beach and nice beds to lay on this is perfect. Entrance fee is 100baht including a ride with a taxi down to the beach

Gorgeous beach and amazing sunset view 😍 it is a private beach so we had to pay 100 Baht for entrance includung a transfer down the hill, toilet use and a beach chair. The opening times are a bit unflexible, it officially closes at 6:30 PM (we were able to stay until around 7PM). Taking food with you is not allowed. We came here in the evening and the beach was completely empty. From the beach you won’t see the sunset because the sun goes down on the other side so we hiked up and WOW - we sat on the swings and saw the most amazing sunset and took beautiful photos! Very romantic place 🥰

Liked it better 10 years ago. Everything has aged and closed down. The beach is still nice, but the sunbeds and dining options are not worth mentioning. Would not recommend it as it is today:) its got s tropic vibe as it allways had, but the experience was no where close to what it once was. Th nai harn beach is not far away and is 10 times as nice. You also have some good dining places straight by the beach😉

Went for a hike all the way here to check out the beach super quickly. However, got totally blocked by fees and hostile people working there. Worst scam during my week in Phuket.

One of the best view of Phuket sea with less people. Many water activities, food, and drinks are offered. Staff are friendly and very service-minded. A bit pricey for local Thai but if you are a tourist, go for it.

Don’t waste your time - pay to get to a beach that has noticeably the worst staff in Thailand. They were so slow and were so rude upon asking for items, waste of money and time to be honest.

I really like this beach. Food is good and not expensive. The water peaceful for my young child. It’s beautiful and not far from patong.

We paid 1000 Bahts/person, for a return Trip from Phuket Patong Beach and for liquor of 2 Large / person. DJ of Armania pub, Patong walking street was far better from that of Paradise Beach. Waste of Time. Food is also available but expensive.

  • 1/5 Paul C. 11 months ago on Google
Not worth the trip. Snorkeling was horrible. Then you half to walk to get a ride or they charge you an expensive taxi ride to go 5 minutes to town. They charge for everything so beware.

Beach is ok, if you are staying in Patong it’s probably not worth the trip. It’s the same bay of water, just as crowded, 100thb cover, and of course you have to get there which means driving or a tuk tuk (unless you’re stupid like me and walk there ignoring googles suggestion that there are a lot of hills on the way). FYI -> The walk there is ok, just not for the lazy (4km, steep up/down grade basically the whole way). If you are staying at the Marriott Merlin Beach I might make the trek. Then again, the shuttle into Patong for the public beach is free, the beach just as good, and there are more food options. Last comm went -> the restrooms (men’s at least) had no soap (I didn’t personally inspect the women’s so no clue). Also no TP, but there is a hose bidet so all good. The soap part is pretty nasty in a global pandemic and a restroom in general, thus my reason for 3 vs 4 stars.

During COVID times when it wasn’t crowded it seems like a really cool place to chill. It’s quite nice and fun but honestly it’s really overrated and super tourist oriented. It’s the only beach with entrance fee I found, this is isn’t a problem but it certainly feels like a private, and controlled place. The stuff really bad tho

Cost 100 baht per person to enter the beach, a complimentary soft drink, a sun lounger and a short tuk tuk ride to the beach is included. Watching the sunset from the rocks behind Paradise Beach is definitely recommended!

The ticket lady was of an extreme rudeness. I didn’t have yet cash as on the website is mentioned that you have available an ATM on the facility and payment by card too. You do not. Deceiving and disappointing, as you would expect staff to be polite at least if not helpful.

200 baht per person, for crowded beach that isn't even that beautiful.. And as previously mentioned you can't bring anything to eat/drink with you...

An amazing experience! The beach is beautiful. The service was great! Best time to visit now because there are not so many people, very relaxing.

100 baht pp fee for entry, short ride to the beach and back to parking lot entrance, and chair/umbrella. Fully serviced with hot food items for sale. Be aware they do not allow you to bring in snacks. Snorkeling on the left and right most sides of the beach but most of the coral is dead and 5-10m of visibility. Of the places we've snorkeled, our favorites are Koh Man Island (10 minute kayak to the island, super easy), Merlin beach, Freedom beach, and Ao Sane.

Arrive early, it's way more enjoyable. The price is what you would expect from a private beach. They may be expensive by Thai standards but they remain decent. Gotta remove a star for taking away your water bottles upon entering and then charging premium for them. Beach is beautiful but it's hard for your feet when swimming from all the dead corals heading to shore.

This beach is overrated. It’s not only the fact you have to pay excessive prices to drink and eat. It’s dirty, windy and the staff is extremely rude. Not recommended

Absolutely better name couldn't be given! It's a real paradise. My favourite beach around the area. You pay 200 bath pp at the entrance but then the beds and parasol are for free. Team is all amazing and the smoothies are phenomenal. Definitely highly recommend

Great option for a family day out. Was fairly quiet there when we went and the water was a little turbid due to the rains, but overall, great facilities. Recommending paying the money for the ride down to the beach and back up

!!!!IT IS CLOSED UNTIL END OF MAY!!!!!! MAKING A MOVIE. NO SIGN OR INFORMATION OF IT NOT NICE. WE DRIVE 30 MINUTES TO PARADISE BEACH AND SEE ALL SIGNS AT THE STREET "TO THE PARADISE BEACH" AND THEN JUST ARRIVED AND SEE IT IS CLOSED.

Amazing beach, they take entry to the beach, different price ranges for sunbeds. we took the front sunbed and they have meny on the bed for food and drinks. fantastic service and such a nice sea and the staff are so nice. Recommend to visit :)

The location looks good from a distance. Party atmosphere with good music. Unfortunately swimming in sea not good here, rocks and sharp shells coral. No swimming pool and really needs one! Food was average and drinks not good. Beer wasn't cold enough and fruit shake terrible and warm. Some will have to visit to say they've seen it but I would suggest other places for better quality of everything. It's too bad it has potential to be really good and it isn't horrible but just average at best.

Clean water but there is some trash around. White sand Dirty sun chairs Very shallow and not suitable for swimming 100 bath for entrance Most probably will not come back

  • 3/5 Martin O. 1 year ago on Google
Overevaluated. Beach is well maintained, but you have to pay a fee 100baht, at moment of our visit there was low tide, so, it was a bit rocky. Now, as it is private beach, it lost a charm to find some nice spot. Check freedom beach instead.

The amineties in addition to this beautiful beach provides an entertaining and relaxing time for anyone

  • 3/5 Ricky S. 1 year ago on Google
You have to pay 100 baht when you get there and they will search your bags. I think they are looking for food and alcohol which you are not allowed to take to the beach ,you can only consume what you buy there . The beach itself is nice enough but nothing special . I was a little bit disappointed because the pictures look fantastic but in real life it's not quite the same. The tide went out not long after I got there and that's it , no swimming because there's no water . Well, there's about 6 inches of water and the ground is all hard, sharp , rocks and dried coral. The 100 baht included a sunlounge which I moved twice due to ants. The food and the drinks were not redicilously overpriced and was good quality. Overall it was an ok day , it's still well worth a visit but don't pack a picnic or bring your own drinks.

Crowded, the beach lost his charm. Loud music. To much people in a small place.
