I visited the Aphrodite cabaret show whilst visiting Thailand and well what can I say it was awful couldn’t wait for it to finish to be honest! It all started from when I was shown to my seat in which I had to listen to some Chinese guy talking for over half an hour to the large amount of Chinese audience which would of been fine but there was no other languages spoken before the show started so not sure what was said... the show then started and well the miming was painful to watch no where near in time or the correct lip movements for the songs and no effect with dance moves really did look awful. At this point I couldnt enjoy it so begin to notice dancers looking around at the others to see what the next move was meant which just looked silly as they were all out of time. Overall I would not recommend this to anyone very disappointed so 0 star rating from me.

Do not support this money grab show. Lack lustre show trying to make as much money they possibly can before they fall out of favor: Full house but no effort in facilities maintenance or upgrading. Plastic chairs are added to squeeze in more spectators. Faulty toilets look like they'll never be repaired. They take up to 15min of the beginning of the show to hold auction for some so claimed 'art work'. They try to keep their show contents a secret by forbidding photography/recording in the hall. This is achieved by shining the spotlight at anyone who attempts to use their phone which annoys the hell out of other spectators. Lastly, the performers lack energy, don't even bother to lipsync properly and the songs lack variety and are mostly Chinese songs.

They're trying to do the same as the Simon Cabaret, but still have a long way to go to reach that level.

I wish I could give it -1 star! It may have been OK about 20 years ago, which seems like when carpets were last cleaned... smells of piss, but that turned out to be the best part as the show itself was a joke....

No english speaking whatsoever in the whole show except the sign board which a guy came up the show "no photography or videography" in the show. the energy was lacking at all times except the indian dance and thai dance. well after show was the only time where they all showed their energy, but all in wrong places. forcefully n deliberately dragged my dad for a photo n forcefully grabbed off money from other people who went for a photograph. the whole experience felt forceful n not, tourist friendly. "once in a lifetime" indeed.

The quality of the show is increadibly bad. It seems that the music was recorded on a phone and the dancing...well, you can barely call it dancing. But the customer service is even worse. There were only about 20 people in the whole theatre when we went and after the show the staff started to whistle and shout at us to get out faster (they shouted “Exit! Exit! Faster!”). The whistling and shouting continued until we exited the theatre, where the dancers were wainting for anyone to take a picture with them (one picture cost THB 100). They pulled people against their will and almost made you take a picture. The show was horrible enough on its own, but all that made it even worse (although it was hard to imagine worse was even possible). I recommend you to save money, time and dignity and avoid this show!

(Phuket town) the show went for an hour, it was quite entertaining with great costumes, make up, props and somewhat passionate dancing. The lip syncing wasn't as bad as previously reviewed. HOWEVER, when leaving and being herded out with ridicuously loud whistles, they tried to charge x10 for a photo. We asked for 1 photo with 1 performer. In the last minute another perfomer jumps in, both of them grab our hands, place them on their chests and ended up asking for 400B. The sign says 40B. We argued back to the man taking our pic, to which he claimed that we had 2 performers and that we touched them. We walked off, he then grabbed me from behind trying to get me to pay so i just stormed off again. Don't bother taking a picture with them! *they also claimed she was the best 'singer' therefore costs more for a pic. Mate... you lipsyned the WHOLE TIME.

Starting was bit okayish, but later it became more interesting. Worth watching once.

We were literally the only non Chinese in the hall and had to endure some Chinese speech for 30 mins to see an okayish dance performance.

What can i say! One of the worst shows ive ever been to! At the beginning me and my partner who are both english speaking sat through a 30min speech which was all in chinese im aware that were in thailand( a different language country) however thought as it is a huge arraction to tourists it would have english too. nothing was spoken in english so for tourist like us we had no idea what was being spoken about, all of a sudden lots of people stood up and jumped about over a painting thing i wondered what was going on! When the show started.. the miming was shocking most of them didnt know the words and wasnt in time. It was like watching a childrens play the dancers looked like they were bored of dancing there was no effort given and most of them didnt know what they were doing and it really showed! Massively disappointing wouldnt go again and wouldnt recommend!

Oh my God. What a joke! It was like a poor quality high school review with participants who obviously didn't want to be there! Poor fitting costumes, bad miming, very bad dancing and dirty and crowded reception area. This show should be shut down. Luckily it was cheap and at least it gave us a laugh in the bus on the way home. Save your money and go to Simons Cabaret.
