This place is so good that we have come back year after year for 4 times now. Clean and tidy. Hosts and staff are very helpful. Most importantly the atmosphere is so warm that we feel like a family. Meeting new friends and go outings, shopping and dinners together has become a norm here. Saturday's pool party is a blast with locals and foreigners gather for buffet dinner and have fun in the pool. Strongly recommended for guys who are looking for a quiet and relaxing place if you are tired of the over touristic life in Patong.

I needed a relaxing and peaceful central spot for a business trip. The room was excellent, desk for working, comfortable bed, clean own bathroom, tasty breakfast, high speed internet and even a printer available. Nice pool area, iron, ironing board, affordable laundry, restaurants and 7/11 in walking distance. Good communication with hosts. I guess I am a rare business traveler there, but I had everything I needed and will be back. Nothing else to add.

Overall satisfied with my 3 nights and the homestay is surrounded by lots of rubber and coconuts trees. A very quiet and peaceful place. 7 eleven is within walking distance and the village offers thais food. There is a monk walking for his food alms every morning so it was a good experience to give food to him. The Saturday's socialising dinner at the homestay by the pool was mesmerising. Patong is only just over 3 kg away by taxi and easily booked by grab. Thank you to Ulf, Boy and Sai for their friendliness and kindness.

A quiet spot away from the bustle of Patong and Phuket town. Stay a day or two and let the peaceful but handy location wash over you. Plenty of neighbourhood places. One young come is a great coffee and good place near by.

Second time I've stayed at Phuket Gay Homestay and I love it. A short taxi ride from Patong but without all the noise. The host, Ulf, is super friendly and I always meet good people. Rooms are very comfortable and excellent value, and the pool is so nice you don't have bother with the beach. I will return!

Ages since last visited Phuket, booked 2 nights here. While it was a last minute decision to travel, the trip assisted with the help of the host. Had a great stay. He and everyone there helped to make the stay pleasant, memorable. He even helped to show me the beauties of Phuket I had never explored. Beautiful place. Tranquil. Relaxing environment. It was a wonderful 3 weeks stay and the best I have ever had in Phuket. Ulf, his boyfriend and his staff were amazing. All requests, wishes and needs were fulfilled with an excellent support and knowledge. The house and the rooms were super clean and very well furnished, decorated and maintained. No mosquito problems. As a German I loved the cleanliness, especially the bathroom and the bed. I loved the bed. Haha. Breakfast, lunch and dinner homemade. Absolutely delicious and very good coffee. Fantastic wifi with stable and fast internet connection. The location is perfect. It is 10 min. by motorbike or car to Patong or Phuket City in the hills. Quiet situated but nearby in walking distance to many local shops (food stalls, supermarkets, laundry etc.) and also international restaurants. Aswell a forrest to have a relaxed walk in the neighbood. You can rent a motorbike or driver with car at the guesthouse or order grab, taxi. A very good massage will be provided on request and the sauna is cosy for relaxing. Pool is big, very clean and perfect maintained. The weekly gathering on Saturday is fabulous to meet people from around the world aswell Thais of course 😉. You feel absolutely welcomed in a gay men enviroment. And a self service bar is open 24 hours. Thanks a lot for this impressive and perfect stay, especially the friendliness from all of you. I will be back in August for 1 month. Cannot wait for it. 😊

Really nice pool area, clean, nice staff. Got some good local food recommendations. Not that it should matter on vacation... but best internet hookup I've ever seen in Thailand, got 490 Mbit/s on WiFi 😂

Wonderful quiet location yet close to Patong and Phuket town. This is a "men only" accommodation in a 5 bedroom pool villa. It can host a maximum of 10 persons. There is a swimming pool, stream sauna. You can rent motorbikes and bicycles. On Sundays there is a popular gay gathering with dinner starting at 5 PM and finish at 10 PM. This is a great place to meet other tourists, locals and expats in a safe and relaxed environment. The owners regularly arrange different outings to beaches, dinners, shopping or Patong nightlife.

Are you looking for a great home stay amongst like minded men, away from all the hustle and buzzle and really distress, than this is the place to be, Ulf and Boy are the best hosts and make sure you will enjoy your trip to the fullest, nothing is to much for them to arrange to be sure you have a great stay. This homestay radiates an inviting atmosphere of privacy, coziness, and a warm, welcoming culture. During my stay, I had the pleasure of staying in the "Snakes Room," which featured a private bathroom. The bathroom was functional and consistently maintained in a pristine condition. Housekeeping services were readily available throughout the day, with the flexibility to choose a convenient time for room cleaning. The breakfast served here was a delightful experience. I particularly relished the inclusion of fried eggs and the deliciously roasted vegetables. Overall, the homestay exudes coziness, and the hosts extended a heartfelt welcome, making me feel like an honored guest in their own home. Throughout the day, I had the privilege of staying in a private villa and enjoying the immaculate and well-maintained pool area. I truly appreciated the option to wear swimwear or not, allowing for a comfortable sunbathing experience. I also enjoyed the pool in the evenings and at night, thanks to the well-coordinated usage schedule with other guests. My room faced the pool, and I can confidently affirm that I experienced peaceful and restful nights, even when other guests were enjoying their evening drinks outdoors. All in all, my stay was a resounding success, and I wholeheartedly endorse the homestay as a positive and exceptional private villa experience.

Great place to stay in Phuket. Excellent location for getting around the island and 10 minutes from the a Patong frenzy. Clean, well run homestay with a lovely pool. Owners Ulf and Boy are very welcoming and helpful.

I had a very lovely stay at Phuket Gay Homestay. Ulf and Boy were gracious hosts who really made I felt like home. I used one of their bicycles to roam around the area a little bit. I was informed that there's a great bicycle track around a reservoir. Unfortunately the weather didn't permit me to do that , but biking enthusiasts will definitely want to check it out. At first I was a bit concerned about the location. 3 km away from Patong beach but then I realized that the location gave me enough distance from the crazy Patong while being close enough to call a grab taxi to go there. Travelling from the homestay to the Phuket city is also convenient. When I return to Phuket Homestay I will definitely rise early to ride a bike from the homestay into town. Boy was away for business but Ulf took care of me well and was very informative. One of the things that guests would like to do during breakfast is perhaps to talk to Ulf. I personally found his knowledge of LGBTQ in Thailand very impressive. One can say that Ulf is a living LGBT chronicle who can tell you so much about the history of gay acitivism and entertainments in Phuket as well as in Bangkok, after living in the country for a few decades. It's definitely a pleasant stay! It felt more like staying with a cousin rather than in a hotel for me. I will need to come back! Another factor worthy of being mentioned is the fact that the swimming pool is so private that if you wish you could just sunbathe naked.

This is one of the best places on earth. It just outside party patong beach. So if you want party, it is close. But if you prefer calm and relaxing, just stay in the pool area. Nice staff always make you feel important And they make sure that you have what you need.

Into my second week here and loving every minute. The property has only 5 guest rooms and is meticulously clean and comfortable. The pool has just been completely redone and is sensational and there is a sauna as well. Breakfasts are large and freshly cooked. Local thai lunches are delivered daily for B100 if you choose to stay by the pool. Hosts are exceptional, great company and very knowledgeable on everything you need to know to ensure you have a wonderful experience. No wonder they receive excellent reviews from all guests.
