Great price. Great facilities, great pool. Room service is helpful. Great Air conditioning. Amazing breakfast, most choice I've seen at this price of £21-£27 a night. Bathrooms were spotless. Location is close to main places in Patong. About 15 walk to the beach, some of which alone a main road. Biggest let down is its exact location. It is right along a main road, which means there is 24/7 engine noise if you are on the road facing side of the building. We asked to change rooms, and it was silent on the other side. They were happy to do this for free, so we were happy. We would have checked out if they couldn't do that, as the noise was unbearable. Solid 4/5 as the hotel is so cheap for what you are getting. Only downside is location.

The reason I am giving one star the behave of the support staff and managers. Never expected the kind of behavior from the hospitality industry. It is a problem for them to provide tea bags and change the towels, etc While we were to check out the female at reception, asked us to wait and sent a person to check the room if we needed to pur some fine on the guest. Negative mindset I myself would not like to visit the hotel again. nor I recommend.

Phenomenal service and hospitality. Truly phenomenal. Location is good, 1km from beach and away from bar and club noise. Walking street and beach road easily walkable from the hotel. Awesome rooftop pool, gives great views and seldom busy. Breakfast buffet is excellent value and has lots of variety Room was big with comfortable bed, modern AC, balcony, good shower. All amenities but some you need to ask for (Phuket regulations) Would highly recommend this hotel for a short or long term stay

The location is very good. Just on the main road. However it's far from any beach. Patong beach and walking street is a 5 mins ride from here. However, there is a scooty rental just opposite to the hotel. The lady there is very genuine and polite for a rental owner. The rooms are decent. I suggest you to opt for rooms on higher floors are the sounds of the racing bikes and cars at night can be very disturbing. It's Thailand! They have racing bikes roaming the entire night . The service however was something disappointing. The guy in the reception desk isn't that polite.

Apart from the infinity pool on the rooftop , there's not much else to this hotel. They put more focus into the Lobby and the roof top , rooms are basic , tv doesn't work . Even the breakfast is basic and The breakfast drinks are not fresh either For the amount of money they charge. I expected a better service.

The rooms are good, very good air-conditioning which is a must here. Unfortunately, it was a very hard bed, and the sliding door to the balcony was too short to close, so the noise from the street was bad. The service is on the slow side again. The girls on reception are nice, but their English isn't very good, so we struggled to understand each other a few times. The location is ok, about 15 min from the centre

Awful because of one glaring issue. I checked into the hotel fine. The front desk was kind enough to check me in early after a very long night. Everything in the room seemed okay until opened the restroom door. There was such a strong smell of...mold? mildew? something else? that it was impossible to use the restroom comfortably, even long enough to brush your teeth. I alerted the front desk, asked that they have someone clean again, and left for lunch. I came back to a closed bathroom door (so housekeeping obviously visited) and the same ghastly smell. I shut the door tight, spent as much time of of the room as possible, and only returned at bedtime. I held my breath while using the restroom, booked another hotel, for the next day, and high-tailed it outta there. Maybe it was just a fluke, but the fact that there was no resolution, or other room offered is unacceptable. Avoid if you can.

The most major drawback here was that the wifi didn’t really work in the room. This was inconvenient, obviously. The rooms could have been cleaner, but when I noticed the sheets were a bit dirty upon arrival they quickly sent someone to change it for me. However, everything else is pretty good. Nice and responsive staff, decent and cheap food for room service, and the rooms are nicely sized. I do not recommend the bar drinks as they were extremely weak. For the price it’s a great deal and only half a mile walk from the beach. The rooftop pool also has amazing views.

We definitely loved the hotel . It is really beautiful with rooftop swimming pool . The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I had a wonderful experience with every staff member I encountered, i personally loved Miss Olivia she is delightful and eager to help! Thank you Miss Olivia ! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown.

Booked this hotel from out of the country. Found the room was extremely noisy being on the second floor and facing the road. Decided to not stay and lose the cost of the entire reservation as they would not refund. I had a second room reserved for later in the week I also could not get a refund on. I do not recommend if you prefer a quiet nights sleep.

The staff make this hotel a 5 Star hotel. Maybe they could do a training video and send it too the Irish hotels. So friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool is fantastic, clean loads of beds and recliners. Rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We had a small issue with a leaky pipe and they came like an army of helpers and moved all our stuff to a new room. Gave us an upgrade and some free drinks for the trouble. We have been in Thailand for 2 weeks so far and it's going to be hard to find a hotel as good as this. Sadly we move on to ko lanta hopefully we get the same treatment there. Thanks too the staff for a great stay 👏👏👏

Stayed here in Sept 2022 but this place traumatised me enough to make me write a review in July 2023…. I can close one eye about the room size, mouldy toilet, loud noises from the street from the non-sound-proof room, but what I couldn’t tolerate were the mini roaches in the bathroom!! There were so many (in our 4 night stay we spotted about 3 a night), likely crawled up from the drain. The hotel staff were super nice, came up to spray baygon but that didn’t work (though they seemed very unfazed by our infestation situation such that it felt like it was a regular occurrence?), so we slept in paranoia each night praying that they don’t crawl into our bed. I would say pay a few more dollars to go to a better hotel.

We had a really good stay at the Marina Phuket hotel. The staff is lovely and the rooms are clean. The view from the infinity pool at sunset is also stunning! Would definitely recommend staying here for a value for money option

Everything was OK to begin... Until a leak from ceiling in the middle of the night led to me being covered in (brown) water... The bed was saturated.. I woke up choking from water in my mouth.. So had to move room. Which was an upheaval moving all my luggage.. Staff & manager apologised and gave me a fruit platter... Then on checking out they had the audacity to ask me for 150 baht for using a towel to clean myself and bed.. the experience was very traumatic.. I should be asking them for money...

We had a great stay here. The hotel is located on main street and can be easily accessed. We booked a deluxe double room and the room was clean. The room and hotel have all the necessary amenities. Various room options are available such as deluxe twin room, premium deluxe room, grand deluxe room. There are room options available with and without breakfast. The price of rooms range from 3K Baht to 5K Baht per day. The price can be less or more than this based on the season and time of visit during the year. There is a swimming pool on the top floor and the view is fabulous. There is Skyline rooftop restaurant and bar. There is a meeting room with a capacity of 30 to 50 people. Gym and spa is also available. Wi-fi connection is available. The hotel has a parking space. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the beach, shopping places and nightlife district. Check-in time is 2 PM and check-out time is 12 PM. You can book a hotel room via their official website or any third party website.

Rooms are little small in size but still does good for 2 people. Any extra bed will be very tiny. Location, service, food all 10/10. Icing on the cake is it's roof top swimming pool. Great experience...

I stayed in hotels over 90 nights in 2021, and this hotel was the worst. This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in during my life. When I checked into the hotel, I find poop stains on the toilet, dirty floor, hair in the shower, and the worst was the blood stains on the bed sheets. I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel if they want a clean place. The staff are friendly, but that is all this place has going for it, and honestly, if the staff doesn’t clean the rooms properly before new guests, I question the authenticity of the friendliness

Fantastic staff, so friendly and helpful, Baw especially, he actually booked the second PCR test for us. Clean modern rooms. Food was good and very reasonably priced for a hotel, not much more than on the street. Rooftop pool was amazing with a 270° view above Patong. Definitely will visit again!

Do not eat at the restaurant. They served me cold fried chicken sandwich. I took a bite and sent it back. They put it back into the fryer and gave me a now hot sandwich with a bite out of it rather than a new one. If this is what they do with food willingly imagine what they do when no one’s looking. As for the rooms they’re good except for some mold in bathroom. Pool is cool and location is great.

Do not stay here if you’re a light sleeper! There’s a bar across the road and the bass is louder than a 17 year old P platers car with a subwoofer- it vibrates the walls. BUT I’m not a light sleeper so it didn’t bother me. Buffet breakfast could offer a bit more variety but it’s not necessary as there’s so many cafes around. Service was amazing though, staff are so lovely. The pool is amazing, best vibes up there. Beds are hard though - keep that in mind. Location is a short 10 minute walk to the main strip or a 150-200 baht tuk tuk - we advice inDriver for cheapest. Overall amazing stay :) thank you!

Honest, polite & humble staff. They really made sure that we had the best hassle-free time in Phuket. Deserve 5 stars because they returned the valuable items that were left outside the hotel ,which I was not expecting honestly.

Stayed for about a week and overall it’s a nice hotel with plenty done right and just a few things worth considering. On the plus side, it’s modern, rooms are spacious, with good ac or little balconies for fresh air, has a decent restaurant with a decent breakfast and a nice pool and is a small but solid resort. Obviously this means it’s less local feeling and it is a fair bit off the main streets. Nice for noise, more effort for getting to shops and tours but only a few minutes walk, no giant deal. The gym works but is eh, but there’s a better one in town if you want a good workout, the pool is again solid and has a nice bar right there. Friendly staff, much better prices than the big chain resorts and you can find laundry, a massage, supermarket all within a few minutes walk.

The main reason for this hotel for us is the location and the rooftop pool. This hotel did not disappoint! The hotel is 11 mins to the night market (Bazaan Fresh Market) and Muay Thai arena. The hallways and elevators gets pretty hot as no air is flowing through. The room keys control access to your room floor and other amenities only, which is pretty secure. Wished our room didn't have to rely on our room key to keep the air on because it got pretty hot when returning for the day. The room is not so quiet (we were on the 4th floor). You can hear the traffic outside and people slamming their doors. We did not include the daily breakfast however ordered in for one day. Food menu did offer Western items. Services were very welcoming. Love the staff on the rooftop. Great bar service! We had the balcony view which was okay to see the main street, an abandoned field, and a building under construction. Not a huge issue for us. We had a small incident with one staff member when my husband went to get a cup of coffee for me. The manager corrected the issue right away when it was addressed. This shouldn't deter anyone from staying.

"Exceptional Service and Outstanding Hospitality!" My recent stay at Hotel Marina Phuket was truly a remarkable experience, thanks in large part to the hotel manager and the entire staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The hotel supervisor, Mr.Rick, sets an impeccable standard for service. Their dedication to ensuring guests have a comfortable and memorable stay is truly commendable. They were always available to address any questions or concerns, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. The service provided by the entire staff was top-notch. From the friendly front desk team to the attentive housekeeping staff, everyone went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were not only clean and comfortable but also beautifully designed. I especially appreciated the Skyline rooftop and Swimming pool. The food was delicious, and the waitstaff was both knowledgeable and courteous. Overall, my stay at Hotel Marina Phuket exceeded my expectations, and I attribute this entirely to the exceptional service provided by Mr.Rick and the entire team. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay in Phuket. I look forward to returning soon! Thank you, Mr.Rick and the entire staff at Hotel Marina for making my stay truly special.

DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED As reguar EA travellers we've never had such a terrible experience than we have here at The Marina Phuket Hotel. One of the notable issues is when we were leaving they attempted to charge us 1500 baht for two DROPS of tea on the bedsheet, claiming they could not wash it off. They said they would give us a discount of 50% and charged us 750. We were disgusted with this, as we knew it could be cleaned v easily. We said we had followed all the rules THEY had told us and now they were making up something new to extract money from us, why hadn't they told us this before. They said there was no option and we would have to pay. We felt very taken advantage of and unhappy. We also felt that them offering 50% off for the price of a new bedsheet was proof of their ulterior motive of attempting to extract as much money from us as possible. It was very senile and exploratory in its nature. On top of that, the breakfast was completely inedible. On the first day the AC was not working, the shower was leaking too which created a slip hazard. The overall stay left us feeling that the hotel was more focused on extracting money from tourists rather than ensuring a pleasant stay.

Nice room although it was facing the main road so it was a bit noisy and the bathroom was good although the water spilled out quite often. The swimming pool was great and with a beautiful view.

Looks good on pictures, but disgusting in real life. First room there was pee stains on bathroom, used cotton swab on the bathroom floor, and smelled like mold in the bathroom. We went to reception and wanted refund, they said they can upgrade the room. The second room, there was blood stains on the toilet seat. Clearly they do not clean in this hotel, this is a hygiene thing. It’s really disgusting. The hotel said that the agency we booked from should give us refund, but the agency says that we paid to the hotel and they should refund us. The agency tries to call them, and they just ignore the calls. Worst hotel I have been to. Don’t let the ”stars” fool you. If you are thinking to book here anyways, pay directly to your booking agency and not pay later at this scam of a hotel. EDIT: The agency finally managed to contact the hotel, they said that they can’t refund because it’s past date, they also lied that we checked out 5am meanwhile we checked out within the same hour we checked in (we have proof because we went to another hotel and checked in there around 1 am.) Greatest scammers in Thailand.

Enjoyable stay with a few issues. The room has a stench akin to mildew or maybe something used to treat the room. The water temperature control for the shower was horrible, going from cold to scalding in an instant. Both of these issues are repeats looking at previous reviews, so management has opted not to address them and probably never will. The hotel design and room design were excellent. The rooftop pool and bar were excellent. View and location were great. Breakfast was very good. Pool bar and restaurant staff were friendly and professional. Front desk was ok but not helpful at all ensuring guests were united with their tour/event transportation. Tour drivers were obviously frustrated with the hotel staff when they were trying to find their clients. Had no problems with street noise as stated in some reviews. Overall it was enjoyable. It would be worth booking as a comparison if you have stayed at other hotels in Patong. Price was reasonable.

Nice and clean room. Some noisy from the other room and the main road. Quite far from the beach. Breakfast is standard and not variety and quite similar every day. There is this food as the photos every day. Don’t recommend breakfast for anyone who stay longer than 3 days. You can sick of breakfast.

The most phenomenal feature to this hotel other than facilities, rooms' hygeine and location is the customer service. I stayed in Thailand for a month and while my stay I have known that Thailand's policy with customer service is who pays more will be treated best. However, this is not the case with this hotel. I always book one night then book the other nights as I have seen how it is extremely hard to get a refund when things go down. This hotel is everything and in between for a relaxed stay. You will not regret staying here, the customer service is 5 stars.

Beautiful hotel with a great pool to enjoy during your holiday. Great service by staff. Breakfast buffet has a very wide spread you can choose from. You can book for tours and motorbike rental etc. directly from them with no extra charge (motorbike rental rates was way cheaper than those around the streets).

We loved our stay here! Such great value, location was awesome, and staff in the hotel were always friendly and ready to help. Rooms were very decent sized, and the rooftop pool is a great touch. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and would return when we are next in Phuket.

Such a great hotel which we would recommend to anyone. The food is lovely, views and pools beautiful and the staff fantastic! The location is great and just a short walk from the main areas. For me and my family (including our two year old daughter) it couldn't have got much better. Thank you Olivia, Jenny and the rest for making it a special stay.

Booked the hotel for my parents and they had a very pleasant stay. My parents were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary and the staff was kind enough to take up my request to do a very cute bed setting with no extra charges. They were in constant touch with me on whatsapp and were very cooperative.

My Thai partner and I began our journey in Koh Samui staying at the Bophput Resort and Spa then continued south to Phuket staying at the Pullman in Naithorn Beach before making our way further south to stay at the Kantary Bay Hotel. We had pinpointed these hotels as places where we could just relax and chill out and enjoy a little indulgence. We decided on a stop in between at the Marina Hotel where we planned on a couple of nights enjoying the entertainment around the Patong beach area. Checking in was straightforward and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. It was clean and fresh, bright and airy and not a bad size. We had a balcony which looked out over the rear of the hotel, not much of a view from this area. We spent the afternoon around the rooftop pool and this was the highlight of our stay. Beautiful pool with great views. There is a lovely little bar by the pool that specialises in cocktails. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and the staff at the bar and pool area were very friendly and attentive, in direct contrast to the front desk staff who appeared rather indifferent and disinterested. Breakfast was included with our stay but to be honest it was a little underwhelming. Our second evening was when things took a turn for the worse. We had enjoyed a night out and had just entered the hotel when one of the front desk staff had engaged in conversation in Thai with my Thai partner. I thought they were discussing the rain as it had just started to pour down outside. When we returned to our room I could see my partner was a little upset and I asked what was wrong. She informed me that the lady at the front desk had asked to see her ID. She refused her request and informed the receptionist that we had checked in together. We both felt so embarrassed by this that I wanted to go down and complain but my partner told me to let it go. To me this was totally unprofessional behaviour and a warning to other travellers with Thai partners that this place may profile you, a paying guest, as a sex worker! Because of this we will never return here again.

Not the best place to stay unfortunately, we booked for 1 week in January 2022 via the sandbox scheme, the hotel was clean and the rooftop pool was nice enough and staff were mostly friendly however when we checked in they said they would have to put us in a room where the Wi-Fi wasn’t working for the first night and will move us the following day, when enquiring about our change of room the next day no one was aware of this and it had to be arranged again taking around an hour to sort. The next room we were in had a faulty air conditioner system, we informed reception and they sent a member of staff up to see if he could fix it, after about 1:30 hours he decided he could not fix it and we packed up for our third room. Luckily we spent the remainder of our time in here on this room however replenishment was a bit of an issue we had to phone down a few times to ask for hand towels coffee tea and sugar as they were not replaced. Now all of the above was a minor annoyance which I could easily overlook however on the night before leaving we booked a taxi at 07:00 with reception staff from our hotel to bus terminal 1 for 900 baht which we didn’t get a receipt for (note to self always get a receipt) as we has a bus to catch at 08:00 and the terminal is around 30minutes away. When we checked out at 06:45 the next morning we waited for a taxi and at 7:10 had to check with reception to see where it was only to find out the gentleman had taken our money and not booked a taxi at all, the hotel staff then booked us a taxi but unfortunately even after repeatedly informing them and the taxi driver that we needed to go to bus terminal 1 we were dropped off at bus terminal 2 at 07:45, a 12 minute taxi away from bus terminal 1 where we had pre paid tickets to go to koh samui. As you can imagine we were not able to make this bus/ferry and as a result lost the money paid and in addition had to pay a further 1600 baht for a ticket from bust terminal 2 to koh samui leaving at 09:30. Overall the hotel was very poor for the money it warrants and the whole experience was made worse by the incompetence we faced at the end, there and many hotels that look just as good and are situated closer to the beach/bars asking for a lot less to stay if I had my time over I would certainly not be coming back.

smelly room. hard beds. found hair on bed. Street noise. poor food at pool plus grimy cushions. can hear noisy guests in hallway during the night as door let's sound through. moved rooms once then checked out early but they wouldn't refund me saying I didn't let them fix the problem. not sure how many times they expected me to move ro another identical room

This hotel was great, the rooftop pool is lovely and the rooms are very clean and spacious. Prices were a bit more expensive for drinks and food. Location is good- about 10 mins by foot to the Bangla Road

Location is superb. Easy check in and out. Room was clean and well kept. Only 4 stars as the bed was very hard and being close to a major road was slightly loud at night. Would stay again if price is right

We stayed here a few nights in January 2022 with the test&go program. The staff was very nice, rooms also great with bathtub. Very clean, the only small problem was the noise from the street and if you have been unlucky to have a child on your floor then you could her them crying. But beside that I believe if you take a room to the back side is not so loud. Pool looks great, nice view, cheap food and drinks.
