The place has an amazing vibe. Too bad I only stayed here one night and couldn't attend the pub crawl. It's not just an ordinary hostel but true to it's name, a party hostel. The hosts and other guests are very chill. This leg of my trip was solo and I had a great time at this hostel. Grab a few drinks and play pool till late in thr night

The 4 person dorm room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is great if you are looking to party on Bangla road and there is a beach nearby. Most of the staff didn't seem to bother how guests were doing but a few of them seemed pretty interested in making sure you had a good time.

Poorly managed hostel. Staffs and manager were unprofessional and unfriendly. The room has very limited space. No proper place was there to keep our baggages. We stayed for three days. Didn't see any maintenance has been done for room as well as the toilet in this period. They are not even providing a soap or shampoo.

Party hostel? A place where the hosts are busy with their own happening things opposite to what has been written there which is not highly a professional way of dealing with the guests. Rooms are very congested with zero maintenance through out multiple days and no proper section or set up for the drying of clothes. Wrong way of advertising with name ‘party hostel’ for which is actually imbibing only for the hosts and the worst thing being the non allowance of alchohol or food from outside along with the closure of public area mostly by 11 PM when actually the party mood starts. Huge turn off from what was expected and highly not recommended from now! 👎

If you like to spend some time at night in some open living space where you bring your beer and food and get along with people in the hostel then this place is not for you. They close the common space at 11 PM at night which is a big downer for me. You can't bring your booze or food in the common space to eat. You have to put in a security deposit before tou enter the hostel. I hope they change these policies soon.

Worst hostel service I experienced in Thailand. The receptionist (woman with white glasses) is extremely rude, not helpful, and does not seem to care about anything. I have been to Bodega hostels before, but this one is definitely ruining the good reputation. We booked the hostel for our group of 8, and they managed to put us all in separate rooms, what the fk? Cleaning ladies enter your room early in the morning, no need to set an alarm. Random dude slept in my bed during the day time because the reception wrongly assigned my bed to him! Unbelievable how much one hostel can fk up. Avoid this place

First of all, it must be said that we thought that the Bodega is a party hostel, which is very social. This is not the case, you do not meet a single person here. Furthermore, in the rooms it says "best wifi in Phuket", this is just as false and almost ironic, because there is no internet and reception in the rooms. Only in the other building at the reception, which is very run down, just like the rooms. It smells like a basement, there is an incredibly high humidity, mold and it stinks in the toilet throughout. The beds creak with every little movement, there are stains and holes on the sheets. Mosquitoes fly everywhere as if it were a breeding den. The view from the window is the stone wall of the other building, so no light comes in either. But the highlight was the air conditioner, from which several litter of water suddenly started flowing. The wall, the floor and especially our storage were completely wet. And so were clothes, electronics, documents and doctor's bag. When we went to complain, we were handed a towel that had already been used, by a guest. With this towel we were supposed to wipe everything dry ourselves. The next day we went to complain because our things were damaged, had to be washed and were unusable. The staff was incredibly rude and said only that this can happen and they could not help it and we had bad luck. Mutually, they have talked in Thai still laughing about the situation. The only good thing about the hostel was the super sweet and dear security man. I do not actually write reviews, but I want to warn everyone to go to the Bodega.

Great location, super friendly staff and decent amenities for what you pay. Great value for money and they do almost nightly events to get you out and about in the city with other hostel goers. Shout out to Jessie, was running some great events

Booked a private room online but they had recently renovated and privates are no longer available upon our arrival. The hosts were amazingly accommodating and ended up apologizing and allowing us to rent out an entire dorm to our-self. Been too few different bodegas and they're all fantastic! This one is less than a ten min walk from the party/bar scene. AND FOOD STREET (check it out for sure) Very good vibes with amazing staff! If there's a bodega in town that's my first and only pick every time. Best party hostels I've ever been to.

Hands down the BEST hostel in Patong!!! Shane is an amazing, friendly, and helpful manager. My friends and I extended our stay here because it was such a blast! Cheap drinks and fun pub crawls! I would highly recommend you stay here if you’re traveling solo! You’ll definitely meet some awesome people and the staff will make you feel at home ❤️ Miss you already Bodega 😓

The hostel is at one of the prime locations in Patong but there are certain things which dint make any sense.The hosts were not professional at all, they all had their own things going. The rooms were pretty small and the worst part you have to dry your clothes inside. The name party hostel is a misnomer, no common places after 11 , no outside alchohol or food. The cheapest beer you get to buy there is almost 80 baht while you can get a 3 pack for almost 150 in the nearest 7-11. Bodega is quite famous for their party hostels but I feel this is a major no go for a party hostel and a one without any proper amenities. Strongly recommend trying out other party hostels in the area...

Bodega is a nice party hostel if you want to pay more for below average services and products. I was so uncomfortable here that I left two days before the end of my stay. No soap in the bathroom, just a broken dispenser. Staff treat guests like you owe them something and you should be grateful that they bothered to answer your question. Most of the things here are marked up more than 300% compared to the 7-11 across the street. This place is just a money-grab. Would not recommend this place to a friend.

i stayed here for 3 days. I was welcomed by Enrico. He's a great guy, sunny and friendly. the best part of this place is certainly the staff. Enrico immediately put you at ease. All the staff are very nice, another girl helped me to book the transport to the airport. The place is clean, pleasant and close to all necessary services. I had a great time here and the prices are also fair. I also took advantage of a promotion.

The place has closed down but still available for booking online with multiple websites, and currently still active on google. Very misleading, found out only after turning up to the venue.

Stayed for 3 days..No hot water, No place to dry clothes, Not much space in 8 bed dorm rooms. Expected much more from a party hostel. Unfriendly behaviour from the hosts except smilk. Not recommended for a memorable phuket experience.

Most horrible hostel we have ever been in. We booked 3 months ago for 8 people and we were put in separate rooms. We also got only 4 keys so we had to share which is very strange. The people did not want to help, they were complaining about how bad there job was and were very rude. I would really not recommend this!

Great vibes if you enjoy a party hostel - Shane is great at getting everyone involved and making sure that you have a good time. Will be staying here next time for sure.

Great place to meet people, have a ridiculously affordable stay, and party if that's what you're into. They have lot of events going on, and you get access to their resort pool down the road (15 min walk). Lost a star because neither of the bathrooms in my room had soap, but aside from that and some rotted out wood under the sink, the place was acceptably clean. Still a great value, and the bed was quite comfortable. Pro tip from one of the employees: eat at Saw Thai Food at the end of the alley (last place on the left). It's vastly cheaper than anywhere else catering to torirists, and while it doesn't look like much, the food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and sweet.

So I stayed here for four nights. And had one wonderful time thanks to are reps (Barbie, Amy and Pasta). Who made are stay in the hostel and for just general info of are area, just that much more better. Plus laundry service are 10/10. Would recommend staying for a party time experience.

Amazing party hostel, beds are really comfy and the air con is good. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want a quiet nights sleep. But then again who stays at a party hostel without wanting to party. The staff are great at their jobs and are helpful. The bar crawl they put on and the drinking games they play are great, love the peg game!

The pub crawl is a must. Some people stay out til 5am during the crawl so definitely pace yourself. Great staff, very helpful and always ready to get the party started. Bring your own lock if you stay here! Or purchase one from the 711 which is a 3 minute walk. Great location, close to everything you want to visit if your in the area. I guess my only complaint would be that when I stayed in koh tao room, there was not hot showers.

We stayed there 8 nights in April and A/C only worked the first night. They had to change us to a dorm of 10 beds even though we paid for a 4 beds dorm because the heat was unbearable at night. After a while the room started smelling humidity. The shower knobs and sink in the toilets are not practical (sink too small, shower knobs too sleepery). The balcony door was broken and couldn't completely close which let a lot of mosquitoes to enter the room. You would at least expect to be able to sleep. I think all they care about in those kind of hostels is selling alcohol to the youth.

Scam hostel, i made a reservation at hostelworld, and paid in cache at the hostel, they overcharged me at the hostel and recharged my credit card the amount for stay, so paid twice!!! Besides no internet in the dorms.

Poorly-managed. These are very dangerous, immature foreigners running this so-called (FALANG) "party hostel," and they'll get so drunk on their FREE BOOZE, high on drugs and then start fights, confrontations and gang up on the guests. Watch out for the Australian girl/manager and her boyfriends pushing shots of cheap booze and drugs in guests' faces insisting that you party with them all the time. Inappropriate behavior. So-called "security lockers" were not secured to the wall, so people could just pull it out and steal your stuff from behind while supposedly "locked and secured" inside, or use sticky fingers to reach inside and pull your smaller items out of the overly large openings/holes in the cages, or unzip your luggage and take a peep inside! Locks not provided. Unlocked and unsecured street door entrance, so any hood rat can just walk right in, up the stairs and into your bedroom if you forgot to push the lock on the way out, or slide a credit card and unlock the bedroom door that way. Unclear if there are any security cameras on-site, so the owner obviously has "NO CLUE" what the heck is going on in his so-called "PARTY HOSTEL AND BAR." Very poor lighting with a CREEPY FEELING and VIBE to the musty place. Smelly and dirty looking from inside. Do not accept credit or debit cards, everything is cash-only, so EMPLOYEE SHRINKAGE and IRREGULAR ACCOUNTING PRACTICES should be investigated by the owner and authorities. One AC was broken in the 10 bed dorm room. Soap dispenser broken (and missing) in one bathroom. Barely could call it a "hot water" shower. Filthy dirty clothes racks outside. Dark and spooky dorm room. Disappointing accommodation. Place needs to be inspected by the authorities and sanctioned if they're in violation of the laws. Not worth the drama unless you're into drugs, unhealthy, smelly surroundings, addicts and alcoholics! Thai staff were nice enough, trying to be helpful, but the Australian teenager has major, personal "issues," so be warned that you may not get a good night's rest and leave stressed out! Police had to be called due to the inappropriate behavior of the teenage manager from Australia. It's unclear if the FALANG STAFF are in violation of the health code, accounting practices and/or NARCOTICS' DISTRIBUTION PENAL CODE, etc. so the Thai authorities should investigate this place and shutter it if the law requires.

Never miss it when in phuket Party Party Party & New friends! Pub Craw is just overwhelming!!! Everything is just perfect - location, ambience, neat & tidy!!!!!!

This is the first negative review I have ever given but this place deserves a score of 0. I have never been confronted with management who are so rude and incompetent. We stayed for 3 nights and one of the nights they assigned 11 people a 10 bed dorm which caused me to come back from NYE celebrations to find somebody else in my bed (luckily I wasn’t solo travelling so was able to bunk with a friend for the night). When I spoke to the management about this (the two white men) they denied it was their fault and when I asked for a refund for the evening they double booked my bed I was informed that ‘that’s not how refunds work’. Two other girls staying in the room came back from a day at the beach to find all of their stuff gone - reception had instructed someone to clear their beds without warning as they had assigned them the wrong room on their 4th night of staying there. Reception also accused these girls the evening prior that they never had a booking when they returned to find a middle aged man in their bed. When these points were raised that we repeatedly found middle aged people in our beds we were shut down with their being an apparent ‘age limit’ on the booking. After speaking to the two men who run management for a second time and the older of the two being extremely rude to my friend, we finally received a refund despite them blaming us for the mishap and insinuating it was our fault for returning back at 6am from a night out on NYE and it also being a party hostel?! Disappointed doesn’t even cut it - we saw this hostel advertised on many third party websites as being the best budget party hostel in Phuket and I can guarantee I will never give the Bodega brand a penny more of my money. The hostel guests were very friendly and chatty and shock many had also faced similar problems to us! If you have time to cancel your stay and receive your money back - do it.
