Very bad hotel doesn’t answer the phone and This hotel has charged my card when I haven’t even stayed there raising up a fraud case against them. Not sure how they have acquired my details

The worst hotel ever bad customer service the don’t corporate or help in anything at all. They close & hung up on you when you call to request for a service. The pool is not clean at all very very dirty hard to swim on it or relax, the bed are dirty also. But the most worst thing about this hotel is the restaurant my family booked in this hotel and just before 3 days from today on 16 march they want to eat in the restaurant they ask one employee there his name was Pree is the food halal or not mr. Pree answer by yes there is some food halal so they order one meal after finish on the other day a 6 years old boy wake up with a high fever and strong cough and stomach pain then he go to drink water immediately he vomit it after that for two days he can’t eat or drink anything because he vomit everything his condition start to decline fast also Allergies and red spots appeared on his body then his mom go again to the restaurant to ask another employee about the food his answer was very shocking as he said that the hotel never make halal food so we called the Saudi Foreign Ministry and Saudi Embassy in Thailand and we raised a complaint against the hotel and then go to Bangkok Hospital Phuket and they make the tests and the result came positive that he is poisoned because of food And we don’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Stayed here for 1 night on business trip (2500 THB per night). Good + Location is beside central phuket + Staff friendly and pleasant + Room size is big Poor - Bed base and mattress covered in plastic wrap (see photo). Was uncomfortable to lie on. - Hotel is outdated and not 100% clean/fresh in the room. - Breakfast very poor, no option for proper coffee. - Printing the room number on the room card feels very unsafe and is poor practice (staff said this is due to some guests who forget their room number) Will not stay here again and many better options for this price.

Positive: Very spacious, very bright, very comfortable beds, clean, and practical. We did not have many expectations about this type of hotel, and there was nothing that was below them. Negative: The doors didn't close completely by themselves, so people used to leave them slightly open, and the alarms went off quite often.

The rooms in this place are very clean and spacious. It's location and proximity to both shopping malls and markets makes it a very good place stay. They also have a large reception area that is perfect for wedding receptions and business meetings. Slightly on the expensive side but worth it if you're just looking for a place to sleep while spending your days visiting other parts of the island.

((honest review)) i love everything in this hotel but not for the bathroom.. theres some black stuff in the bathub and sink idk that was disgusting for me. but okay overall i like it, the food was good (esp the pancakes omg), the staff were friendly, the toileters was so cool tho (i like the soap texture), the swimming pool was fire but there was some dead bugs and lots of leaves floating there, they got into my face💀 our room was okay it was so spacious and big, the sofa was nice and fluffy. theres gym tho we can stay healthy 😔

Location is OK for day trips, but far from any beach, and rather expensive. Caters mostly to Chinese tourists. Rather loud at night (at least when I stayed there, the guests next door kept me up till 2am with the loud noise). I would not recommend.

Good location, relatively near Chillva and Naka markets (5 min by scooter). Rooms and hotel overall are very clean. Rooms might be lacking a little in looks as jt could be made more cozy easily but public spaces really counters that as it looks modern, cozy and esthetic. Junior suite is perfect if you want to also work as it has sofa and table with chairs. Staff is super friendly and helpful! 10/10! We got new internet modem in the room when main internet started lagging which helped a lot. Also, gym and pool are perfect to burn the calories you eat from night markets nearby :)

The hotel’s location is decent, we could see the Big Buddha from our balcony which was nice. The hotel itself is very average and the photos they’ve on their website are deceiving, looks nothing like the photos and it costs a lot for what the hotel looks like and the service was also average. Breakfast was the same everyday, every hotel that serves buffet for breakfast has different type of variety but not at this hotel, and most days we were served with cold eggs. So I would not recommend staying here.

Really beautiful hotel fantastic decor, the pool was an amazing salt water pool that was very well maintained. Very near the old town with great shops and restaurants near by. We had a really lovely few days catching up on sleep and enjoying peace and quiet 🤫 Room was amazing and absolutely huge

Definitely can book this hotel, the rooms are tidy, spacious, and comfortable. The food is good. The pool is excellent. Near to central phuket mall.

The rooms we're okay, but the ceiling fan in our room needed to be cleaned. We booked our room for 3 nights, but we only did one night. I just couldn't stay another night. The staff is very friendly.

I booked a twin bedroom for 1330 bat for one night including breakfast. I was shocked how big, neat and clean the room. I paid same price for a hotel in Patong and room was tiny and old. The hotel has a big lobby which you can sit and enjoy wifi+ small shop. M floor has gym and fabulous swimming pool. Don’t hesitate to book here. Highly recommended

Dara hotel is a great choice for the budget hotel traveler or business traveler. Breakfast is versatile and good. They have a nice pool area and a surprisingly good fitness room too. Super friendly staff that is happy to help.

I recently stayed at Dara Hotel for 3 days and had a great experience. The superior room I got had a killer view and the room itself was really clean. The pool was nice, but the gym could use some maintenance. The breakfast was good, but not much variety. WiFi was bad sometimes unusable. For the price and location, it was totally worth it. The best part of my stay was the receptionists, they were super kind and helpful. I would recommend Dara Hotel to anyone looking for a good stay in the area.

Looking for a modern hotel with a close atmosphere? Then DARA hotel is one for you. I had ordered the grand deluxe room and it was very spacious with nice city views in the distance. Not too close to all the action as I like to get a good night's sleep, but everything you need is just a short distance away. Central phuket is literally just across the road. The staff are very accommodating. For a reasonable fee, they arranged a pickup service and promptly made sure I made it to the hotel safely. The food! The food was delicious, the wait staff are very professional. Ordered a pad Thai and was blown away by how good it tasted. There is a small shop at the reception area where you are able to get small bits and pieces like shampoo and tooth brushes if required. That just made the whole experience amazing. Very convenient. I would recommend DARA hotel. It's rooms are nice. Spacious. Clean! Staff are friendly and professional. And food quality is impeccable.

Actual room is not as 'new' as photos. Bathroom water pressure is good but shower cubicle doesn't have any accessories to hold the shower gel n shampoo. Aircon is super cold but loud. 5mins walking distance to Central Mall.

Decent hotel. Got room with balcony next to garden. Good vibes but got mosquitoes. Shower area does not have holders to place the shampoo etc. This pandemic has caused a mayhem in Phuket and the hotel industry. Stay strong! The tourists will be back soon!

Good location closer to attraction in Phuket town. Reception staff were wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plumbing was poorly maintained with multiple leaks and damage to roof in our room. Buffet breakfast had a poor range, was cold and average.

Nothing short of incredible. Staff were all amazingly friendly. If you say at the bar for even a fraction of a second, a nice cold glass of water was by your side within minutes. Infinity pool was incredibly well maintained. Rooms were spacious, well furnished and clean. Buffet breakfast was usually cold but tasty and well made. (The omelettes are a good choice if you’d like something made fresh and hot in front of your eyes). Really close to Central, one of the nicest shopping centres we’ve been to in Thailand (Dara has a free shuttle to the centre but it’s a quick 3 minute walk). The restaurant hotel is really well priced for such high quality with a large meal to serve 2 (fries, pizza, club sandwich, drinks and satay) setting us back just over 500 baht. Overall, we were not disappointed!

Currently close because of covid. The office is open if you need to make enquiries. It should be open soon. We miss you, you are in a good location. Update. April 2022, they are open

Very good hotel and close to central mall. Crossing the wrong would be difficult if you're on a wheelchair chair since no accessibility is available

  • 5/5 Mi H. 2 years ago on Google
A nice hotel. Room is big but price is good. No wonder even in the Covid 19, the hotel is still full.

Only good thing about Hotel is it's across from central phuket mall. It has a pool and small gym with multi function suspension weights and free weights. Bathrooms by pool also were clean. We got breakfast included breakfast is the same every morning with a slight deviation once in a while. They only give you one key. If you have multiple guests staying in one room you have to leave a 500 baht deposit which is dumb. If you lose the key you lose your deposit. The pool is facing the street so not much of a view. They are constantly having big parties because they have a party/ conference room in the lobby. There are weddings and other celebrations going on at night which sucks if you are on a lower floor. Ther wifi goes in and out like the rest of thailand but not at bad as other hotels. Overall it's clean side from rude guests. Ther are guests who stay here in big groups. They come in a big bus and wake up at 6an and make a lot of noise screaming in the hallways and yelling in the lobby.

Rooms are ok. But shower has bathtub with no curtains. Very difficult to shower. We were placed in new dara hotel building. Towels are ok. Rarely absorb water. Breakfast is 259baht per person. Very pricey. I don’t like the hotel because they have no microwave, no iron board and also no mini kitchen. I get suite room for those amenities but to them, suite means just a little bigger than a regular room. Oh no laundry in room or on site. Will not be staying here again.
