A hotel with some good aspects let down by a couple of fairly big things. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need, whilst the pool and outdoor area is quiet and secluded. The major problem however is that noise is an issue at this hotel, due to both the design of the building itself (it's open plan nature means sound seems to travel really easily around the place), and a live music bar which is on the same complex as the hotel - this stays open until 1am each day and at least on the day we stayed (a Saturday), it was very audible. Overall, I don't think I'd recommend someone staying here, despite the hotel's obvious perks!

The beds a are quite hard and their isn't really any chill area except for wooden benches. The pool is nice but very shallow. Main porblem was that I needed to go the immigration office, I told them where I needed to go, and asked if I could rent a scooter, yes no problem. Get everything together and now they tell me I need to leave my passport even thought they knew where I was going and that I needed my passport. Ended up quite late to the immigration... Really dislikes places that wants your passport normally, but this was just stupid. A bit more modern countries like Malaysia don't keep your passport.

Very modern, nicely decorated hostel (or poshtel, as they call it). Good location as well, lively enviroment. Lot's to do!

Great place! The whole place was very clean and neat. Located within walking distance to old Phuket. I stayed with two other guys so they gave us our own room. (Room of 4 beads) There is a slide in the lobby, but it is blocked off. Not sure what it is for No complaints! Highly recommend

I enjoyed our stay at Bed Poshtel - SHA Plus because the room was big with comfortable beds and includes a mini fridge. There's a relaxing swimming pool for hot days and if you are from the top floor, you can easily go down the spiral steps and straight to the swimming pool area. The hostel offers beverages such as beers and soft drinks at a reasonable price, which is convenient so we don't have to go shopping for drinks. The staff were helpful by carrying our heavy luggage to the top floor where our room was located. The best part was that it was located at the heart of Phuket Old Town, and it was only a few minutes walk from the hostel. If you are staying on weekends, there is a night market immediately outside of the hostel for all kinds of food, drinks and shopping!

Nice location at walking distance from Phuket Old town. You have hawkers right at the door and you can have great food at any time. Rooms are nice and spacious and the pool (very small) is a nice extra. 4 stars out of 5 as when we checked in (at 3pm after a very long journey with the kids) the room wasn’t ready for an AC problem. We’ve been asked to wait 45 minutes and we asked for a free beer for us and an ice cream for the kids. Our request was denied. Not a big deal to pay for these things but in my opinion if you don’t meet your promised service (check in time) a small kind of compensation would be a class act. Overall great stay and definitely recommend!

Pros: Pool table, lovely staff, pool, free tea and small snacks Cons: room ventilation causes the room to become extremely smelly and unsanitary. My entire dorm was sick after 2 days. Also noise is a bit of an issue.

Brilliant! Thanks for having me. So clean, close to everything you need. Staff friendly and helpful. Has a huge pool which is also very clean. Great area! I will be back.

Just left a four night stay here and definitely felt like leaving a second home. I had the bottom bunk but I could understand complaints about having to climb up the ladder every night. I would say the bed is pretty hard but you get used to it. They supply soap and shampoo in the showers. They dedicate a complete staff to maintain and clean every day - who do a thorough job. All the front desk staff I encountered were always so friendly and positive. The location for old town Phuket can’t be better. There are lovely coffee shops within five minutes walking distance. A couple of Michelin rated restaurants too. And the Indy night market is also cool to see. It’s also right next to limelight the little shopping mall where I got some groceries I needed and ate in the food court.

Really comfy place, but one thing bothers me a lot: you can only get electticity when you put your hotel card in a card reader, but then at the same time the aircon is turned on. So you cannot charge something without freezing or if you're not in your room. This really sucks.

If you stay in Phuket town this is the best Hotel you could ever ask Pro -All The receiptionist staff are very nice, one who welcomed me named Pucki (sorry if i misspelled) is even not hesitate to give early free check in. Seamless check it goes same with the check out process -Great Location!! imagine just infront of the Hotel theres a shopping mall. At night just infront of the Hostel door even have a night market. Top convinience store is just open 24 hours -They have pool, billiard, even sliding from second floor that unfortunatelly cant be use though i would love to try ;) -common area indoor and outdoor, kitchen, free coffee and tea -bed are thick and comfy also they provide towel and mini moneral water. -Inside dormitory they also have bathroom and toilet -what i really also like is they have comics ( though i cant read coz its in Thai ;) but no worries they have many other options of books Unfortunately i just stay one day, will definately visit this Hotel again if stay in Phuket town! Cons If you want to use a hairdryer and you stay in second floor you have to go on the first floor and pass through all the way until left side corner

Outstanding place. Right off and brief walking distance to the old town, with stunningly clean and modern facilities. Staff is super nice, beds upper comfy. Typical sign informing to not park any bikes near the entrance, hilarous and not obstructing passage at all.

Staff is super lovely and friendly. Both face-to-face and on-call great services mean that they are well-trained and have got great service mind. The room is well cleaned and comfortable. the shower’s pressure in its own private bathroom is kinda weak but it’s not a major point to concern and affect the experience of staying here. 👍🏻

Got the double mezzanine room. Very clean and well equipped with private bathroom. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, eg. they helped me print some stuff for free, find place to eat and visit, etc. Overall, very good value for money

Good hostel. You get your money's worth. Bathroom could be better. Also the bed is very very hard.

Best hostel I stayed in so far. Staff was always super friendly and helpful. Very clean room, got cleaned every day. The location is great, very close to old town. Hostel 5/5, super social as well

Super clean hostel and room are cleaned every single day with a change of towels and new water bottles each time. The staff is available for questions about the city. A little swimming pool is available and a cute view for sunsets☺️.

Stayed in one of the deluxe private rooms for 4 nights. Room was great, large king bed, good aircon, fridge and fast wifi. Was easy to get to from the airport via the airport bus for 100THB. Good location on the edge of the Phuket old town. Pool is only 0.6m deep so no good for swimming but good outside area to relax and have a beer at. A little disappointed that the slide has been blocked off :(

Clean and had a nice stay. The rooms are nice and they have many amenities like A/C, TV’s, full kitchen in the common area and a pool. I’m a good area too. Recommend if you are traveling through Phuket.

Exceeded expectations - We were searching for a place to stay in Phuket Town and we came across this hostel that has a very high rating. Now we totally understand why they can maintain this high score. The staff was very helpful, kind, and friendly. The room is bigger than we thought (we stayed in a Hammock room type). Even the bathroom was not that small. The bed and pillows were surprisingly soft and super comfortable. Also, extra score for blackout curtains, made us slept so deep at night. We didn't experience any noise issues either. Great location - only a few mins walk to everything in town. The supermarket is right across from the hostel. There is plenty of parking space sharing with the community mall. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and we think it is worth every single penny. Will definitely come back again!

Clean and tidy, the Doorms are shared, but each bed has it own space. Very confortable

    - Budget accommodation located in the city! - There are many shops, avenue, and convenient store nearby. - If you travel alone, this place is comfortable and convenient to go anywhere. - Female dom. is neat and clean. / The bathroom is inside the room - ❗️no hair dryer

This hostel isn't one that I actually stayed at, but rather the hostel that a buddy of mine stayed at. As far as I could tell, there are only dorms here, no private rooms, but they all looked quite clean. The main pluses though, which is what I experienced here, is the active and fun atmosphere. There is a pool table inside the main area, a pool in the back including a bar area, and there's also a night market right outside the front door on some weekends full of great food, drinks, and music! You can also buy beer and drinks from the fridges right in the hostel. If you're looking for a fun and vibrant hostel, this one seems like a great spot!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was clean, ac worked great, and we found everything to be comfortable. The staff was so willing to go above and beyond to answer our questions, connect us with transportation, etc. we used the kitchen, pool, and pool table… found all of them to suit our needs. The best thing is it’s about 3 blocks from Thalang road which is where the Sunday market happens, has great cafes and restaurants, good shopping, and is adorable. Very central. I would stay here again!

Lovely hostel with extremely cosy rooms. Ours had a seating area, small collection of travel books, coffee making facilities and a fridge. The bed was absolutely humongous and had a nice bathroom. Check in and out was simple and common area had a full kitchen for use. Multitude of food options in the vicinity. Overall an excellent hostel and will look out for them in future!

Such nice rooms, lovely atmosphere, helpful staff, literally everything you could ever need is available here or right near here. Location is awesome and even an indy market out front some nights. Negatives: pool tiles are peeling and need an update, our room toilet reeked for sewage and staff were unhelpful in solving the matter.

Great place, great location, great receptionists, they will give advices if you ask for them, so don't hesitate! Great bedrooms, except that they smell a bit musty (as you are not allowed to open the windows because of the mosquitos) and that some beds are reachable for very small and flexible persons, so if you're tall, ask for a bed that is reachable! But a great overall experience!

I stayed in this hostel for only one night because the location of this hostel is great. Only five minutes of walking distance from Phuket Airport Bus Station and it is so convenient for the people who don’t want to spend a lot of money to go to the airport by Taxi/grab. Also, the hostel staff was friendly and welcoming. If you love to stay in a neat & clean place this is a perfect choice. If I go to Phuket city again probably, I will be staying there again.

One of the best. Clean rooms, spacious, luxurious. Definitely feels more like a hotel couldn’t recommend enough

Be careful about this hostel. MOSQUITOES: I killed more than 15 mosquitoes in my room in one day. I woke up throughout the night to the sound of mosquitoes buzzing in my ears, and in the morning had bites all over my feet. I had to cover up my entire body to avoid bites, the which due to the fact that I had a bad fever at that time was causing greater harm to my body. ZERO HOSPITALITY: I got sick at this hostel with a bad fever (not COVID) and the staff did virtually nothing to help me. When I managed (in pain) to get downstairs to reception to ask about helping me order some food, they laughed and told me to go out into flood conditions pouring rain and get cash. Then when my friend from Chiang Mai offered to help me out via online banking by sending them money they reluctantly agreed to helped me, and then randomly said they wouldn't help me anymore! Forcing me to go out with a fever in the pouring rain to get food. For some time, I was sitting downstairs in visible pain. Nobody asked if I needed help. Nobody asked if I was okay. Shame on this hostel for failing to show even the most basic signs of hospitality. NO ELECTRICITY, NO WIFI: A rainstorm knocked out all electricity for from the early afternoon through most of the night! While the rest of the city outside still had electricity, this hostel did not. Toilets and showers didn't work. And wifi remained crashed during most of my stay, even after electricity came back on! Their solution was to tell us to just go to another hotel! They did not offer anything else, and did not give any explanation of what happened or when electricity would be back. No information given. They didn't care!

Great hostel for those who are looking for a bit of adventure and a peaceful time. Centrally located in Old Town and a walk away from most things - markets, bus stops, walking streets etc. We had a wonderful time.

  • 5/5 Malini S. 1 year ago on Google
Pros -Clean, modern, well-designed,safe -Hot water 24*7; bathrooms are frequently cleaned; towels, soap, and shampoo available for free -Very helpful receptionists and staff (shout out to Siri). They picked out a Phi Phi island tour for us and helped plan the day -Located near lots of good cafés and restaurants (Bellinees for the win) -The square turns into a vibrant Indy market on Wednesday (lots of good food and cheap clothes) Cons -No breakfast/food -The pool wasn't clean enough -A bit dull as the walls are bare and it was a bit too quiet for my taste -The slide in the picture does not work🤣

  • 5/5 James G. 1 year ago on Google
Perfect hostel. Clean and well equiped. Beds are a bit hard, but that’s just Thailand in general! Staff are lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to everything in old town.

This hostel is one of the best hotels I have seen in recent times. The cleanliness, Location, Reception team welcome, Facilities, and Helping approach made me so happy to select this property. They are so flexible in handling the customers. The very big lobby space, working station, separate space for working people, friendly environment and a swimming pool is a very big plus to this place. Located very near the happening place Sunday Night Market. Can see many food joints, bars, 7/11, etc. nearby. Without any second thought, you can book this property either for short-term or long-term stays. Rooms, Toilets, Beds, and Towels are super clean. They maintain Hot water kettles, Coffee and tea sachets, and glasses expertly. Highly recommend this place.
