In the heart of Old Town so great location, however it was inside a coffee shop so it's easily walked past. Inside the coffee shop there is little indication of its relation to the accommodation and no devoted reception, so guests need to wait for the customers to be served before asking one of the baristas for check-in. After check-in, you have to go through the back of the coffee shop and passed a quaint professional coffee grinding spot, before leaving your shoes in a little locker and heading upstairs to your room. I was on the third floor and there was still a subtle coffee aroma permeating the room, so if this will bother you it might be better looking for a place elsewhere. The room was comfortable, but nothing special.

I booked this place knowing the location was very heart of the old town. However, I didn't know that there was only one entrance with the same as the coffee shop. In order to access the room, you need to walk through the coffee bar and customer area. There is no elevator so I needed to climb up the stairs. It was not good for people with big luggage. Also, no receptionists nor staff to help accommodate your request after 6 pm. Just need to make direct contact with the owner. Noisy at night. The A/C was quite loud. The bathroom could be improved. No cleaning service during your stay I have to get my bottles of water for the second day. Good value for money and good if you have a carry on luggage and stay for a night or two.

This place is a really cozy one with one of the best cafe's in town built into it. The rooms were very nice and the natural light was fabulous. The service was also fantastic~ they were super friendly and understanding ๐Ÿ˜ The only thing that got me was that I was trying to sleep early (stomach bugs..), but the sounds and especially the Karaoke music from the market right outside penetrates those walls pretty well, so I could only fall asleep once they had finished at about 10:30 pm. So, if you're not feeling well and/or need to sleep early on a Sunday night, then prepare you noice cancelling ear / headphones.

Room was dusty. Film of dirt and fingerprints on the windows, the TV, the tea kettle. The chair had its own layer of dust. The walls were grimey. The sink was slow to drain. Even though there are two sets of windows, (one in front of the other) in the room, the noise pollution from the street market below is very high. There is no night security or desk service. There are no phones in the room. Who do you call when there is no water? Or when there is no hot water in the shower? Regretted staying here.

Was looking for heritage type hotel and selected this one out of about 5 potential sites. Room was nice, comfortable, but not the one I hoped to get. (They have about 6 rooms total). It is a 3 level building (stairs) with rooms above the coffee shop. You must take shoes off on ground floor and leave in locker. There is a common fridge on the 2nd floor you can store anything that needs to stay cold. We were warned not to turn the hot water to max or it will trip, with this in mind we just had cold showers! No breakfast was included but it would have been nice to have a brewed coffee or tea included from the coffee shop. Location was ideal, the 3rd floor room was slightly noisy from the road but as expected for the location.

The bed is too hard to get a good sleep. Noisy at night. Rude orange haired staff.

Iโ€™d give them 0 stars if I could. Booked a night here only to have them cancel through agoda. And they have to nerve to cancel the day I was about to checkin and at 5pm no less! They let Agoda know a room was not available but I booked this a week or two in advance. Would never recommend booking this hotel in the first place, donโ€™t bother. Update: Agoda sells rooms according to hotel's availability. If the hotel is fully booked, they are supposed to close the allotment, but it seems like they failed to do so. Therefore, the room was sold to me and then cancelled leaving me stranded at the very last min. It was paid in full and non-refundable. I have not had any issues with agoda so thereโ€™s that. I will not be staying here at anytime
