This
is
part
one
of
my
review
of
Sea
Fun
divers,
about
their
operation
as
tour
dive
operator.
The
second
is
more
specific
about
them
as
a
dive
training
center.
I
had
the
utmost
pleasure
to
dive
recreationally
with
Sea
Fun
Divers
in
October
2021
while
on
vacation
in
Phuket
during
the
Phuket
sandbox.
I
had
several
days
on
the
boat,
diving
on
reefs,
sunken
ships,
wall
dives,
and
one
occasion
a
shore
dive.
The
professionalism
of
all
the
staff
is
what
stands
out
the
most.
From
ensuring
you
have
the
right
gear,
the
right
sized
tank,
NITROX
was
provided,
and
the
boat
briefings
and
dive
site
briefing
were
both
informative
and
completely
safety
related.
There
were
no
massive
crowds
on
the
boat
as
in
other
operations,
as
they
own
their
own
boat,
so
can
set
the
schedule,
the
diver
capacity,
and
almost
feels
as
tailoring
each
dive
to
the
customer
on
board.
Special
shout
out
to
the
boat
crew,
always
there
to
move
the
boat
to
retrieve
the
divers,
help
with
gear,
and
fill
the
tanks
between
each
dive.
The
dive
masters
(Dixie,
Mr
T,
Mr
Nu)
and
others
were
thorough
in
their
briefs,
took
great
care
to
show
everything
there
was
to
see
at
the
sites,
and
most
importantly
cared
about
the
safety
of
their
charges,
and
were
enthusiastic
about
the
sport
of
diving.
Overall
one
of
the
best
dive
operators
I
have
had
the
pleasure
to
dive
with
in
over
15
years
of
diving.
I
coordinated
in
advance
with
Rene,
and
he
was
exceptional
in
arranging
transport
for
myself
and
my
wife
to
the
boat,
ensured
she
also
had
a
fabulous
time
snorkeling
while
I
was
diving.
Rene
cares
about
his
staff,
and
his
customers,
and
it
shows
in
the
friendly
atmosphere
in
both
the
shop
and
the
boat.
I
will
be
returning
next
year,
and
would
not
dive
anywhere
else
but
Sea
Fun
Divers.
This
is
part
two
of
my
review
of
Sea
Fun
divers,
about
their
operation
as
a
dive
training
center.
The
first
is
below
and
is
more
specific
about
as
tour
dive
operator.
I
contacted
Rene
a
year
in
advance
to
travelling
to
Phuket
about
completing
the
next
steps
towards
my
dive
instructor
progression.
Having
been
diving
for
about
15
years,
I
wanted
a
truly
professional
organization
that
I
could
complete
several
stages
with,
and
not
outpace
the
organization
and
have
to
switch
to
another.
Rene
called
me
back
overseas
the
first
contact,
and
we
had
an
incredible
call
about
the
process,
and
what
was
feasible
in
the
month
I
was
to
spend
on
Phuket
in
October
2021.
He
was
incredible
helpful
in
planning
the
trip,
providing
some
insights
to
the
diving
industry
in
Phuket,
and
overall
was
the
main
reason
I
choose
initially
to
train
with
Sea
Fun
Divers.
I
say
the
initially,
as
once
I
arrived,
the
reasons
for
training
with
Sea
Fun
Divers
just
grew
as
you
got
to
experience
the
level
of
professionalism
and
student/customer
support
going
through
the
process.
I
completed
my
Rescue
Diver
course,
and
enrolled
in
the
Dive
Master
training
program
while
in
Phuket.
I
will
now
work
towards
completing
that,
then
returning
next
year
to
take
the
IDC
course
next
fall.
On
a
personal
note,
the
instructor
assigned
to
me
for
both
the
Rescue
Diver
course,
as
well
as
the
initial
phase
of
the
Dive
Master
program,
Dixie,
became
not
only
an
instructor,
but
a
good
mentor
in
things
not
about
the
course,
but
diving
as
a
career
path.
I
feel
I
have
made
connections
at
Sea
Fun
Divers
that
will
stand
me
well
as
I
enter
in
retirement
from
my
first
career,
and
ease
into
life
in
the
second
stage.
I
cannot
thank
Rene
and
Dixie
enough
for
the
care
they
took
with
my
courses,
the
pre-planning
from
half
way
around
the
world,
and
the
follow
they
continue
to
do.
Truly
a
professional
organization
I
am
very
happy
to
be
associated
with,
and
would
highly
recommend
to
any
diver
wishing
to
upgrade
their
skills
or
even
to
start
their
diving
journey
with.
