This
for
me
was
a
once
in
a
lifetime
experience
and
has
been
engraved
in
my
heart
and
mind
forever.
I
spent
two
hours
on
the
beach
and
in
the
sea
with
Fah
Sai,
a
sweet
female
elephant
the
same
age
as
me:)
Koko
and
Kai
were
both
amazing,
guiding
me
through
everything,
being
very
polite
and
willing
to
answer
all
my
questions,
making
sure
I
was
comfortable
and
having
a
good
time,
and
very
considerate
of
Fah
Sai's
well-being
as
well
as
the
environment
surrounding
us.
What
I
particularly
liked
was
that
Fah
Sai
was
disobedient
and
doing
her
own
thing
without
fear,
which
to
me
indicates
that
the
elephants
are
not
being
abused
or
forced
in
this
camp.
She
took
her
time
exploring,
eating
grass
and
leaves,
bathing
herself
and
falling
asleep.
This
was
my
first
close-up
encounter
with
an
Asian
elephant,
learned
a
lot
about
them
and
how
they
are
kept
and
I
really
enjoyed
my
time
-
it
was
definitely
a
highlight
of
my
trip
to
Thailand.
They
offered
hotel
pick-up
and
drop-off,
and
at
the
end
of
the
programme
they
served
me
freshly
cut
pineapple,
water
and
a
beverage.
I
would
definitely
recommend
and
visit
again!
