Please please please someone help this elephants. I was in tears the moment I saw them chained, crying, in huge distress and just moving their heads left to right. It’s not possible to have this happening. Please please please rescue them. Any organizations out there? I’d look them up and flag the situation everywhere!

The poor elephant that was chained (by three of his legs) at the front on the roadside was obviously extremely distressed. He looked very sick, and was pacing in circles and attempting to escape from his ridiculously small pen. Such an awful way to treat such beautiful and intelligent creatures. All of the elephants were chained up, even the ones we could see not on the roadside were chained to trees. These poor animals have no mental stimulation and are going slowly crazy.

Phuket is a highly turistic place where elephants are kept in chains so that human beasts can add yet another joy to their photo album. Look closely, the giant animals could not move their front feet. This is animal torture!

To all tourists coming from abroad. Never use these types of places or support these types of animal cruelty businesses. These elephants have been tortured and tamed from a very young age to break them so they can be used for these types of activities and tourist entertainment. Please research these places first and read people's reviews before booking yourself in any of these elephant sanctuaries. In my own experience, I would gladly recommend "Phuket Elephant Sanctuary" which is an organisation that rescues old, ill and injured elephants to give them the quality of life and freedom that they deserve. Best thing is that these elephants are happy and a free from all the torture and surrounded by educated keepers

Do not go here, do not support this animal cruelty. They put chains around the animals. I said to them about it there and they just laughed. Laughed!!!! Can you imagine. It is disgusting. I saw it and have a video. These people should be put in jail. We need to get some officials involved and put pressure on the government. We have to start closing these places. No chains, no cages. Imagine if it was human, would that be ok??

Terrible place. Elephants and monkeys are tied up, they can't even take a step. Without water and ordinary environment for them. I do not recommend!

I wasn't a fan on sitting on Elephants..bit did it anyways for my small daughter. Only reason why I rating it so low is the abuse I saw in these elephants. As our elephant started walking towards us to be seated on. I witness the sad faces of her peers..I also saw bruises I wasn't really happy about. I asked the guide to stop the ride early. They also charge 500B to see the baby elephant. Just a money making business promoting abuse to animal. Biggest regret. Pros!! Ziplining was Awesome!!!

We drove by and saw chained elephants with their head wounded. Please avoid supporting such businesses with animal abuse and elephant riding. Such a big animal has only a few square meters to move around. So sad.

    1. Animal exploitation is cruel. Ride on them, swim with them 2. Terrible living conditions, they are kept on a chain, uncleaned excrement lies nearby.

Please please PLEASE do not support this place. Elephants do NOT need to be ridden for your entertainment. There are plenty of wonderful sanctuaries throughout the country where you can learn about elephants and be with them in nature where they are actually being taken care of. This place has elephants chained up and away from each other. I drove by this place and the conditions are so dirty and horrible. They chained a baby elephant and it was clearly in distress. You can make a small difference by not finding this place.

STOPP Animal abuse. They put monkeys into small cages and they stick knifes on the head of elephants. Everybody who loves animal should not support this behaviour.

If you want to see an elephant chained up, this is your place. Many elephants, each with a 1 meter (really) chain. The employees here just want money and it seems pretty clear to me that they really don't care about these beautiful animals. How these kind of places still exist is so sad to think about. There are much better ways to coexist and make a living keeping these majestic creatures.

We past that place on the way to the Big Buddha. You can see a small elephant on the front chained to the post being a live add to attract tourists. THIS IS NOT THE WAY ELEPHANTS SHOULD BE TREATED. Please don’t go there, chose a ethical sanctuary where ticket cost goes towards the care for elephants!

I havent been there, just drove around and saw elephants tied to the pole. Horrible. There are much better places where you can feed them, bath them and take a great pics. Supporting these business just leads to more animal cruelty.

Disgusting treatment of these beautiful and incredibly smart animals. Please don’t support places like this. These poor animals are chained up all day and forced to carry tourists around on their back in 40 degree heat. It’s abuse.

I was driving towards raway and i’ve seen the elephants tied to a 2 meters chain. The poor animals showed obvios signs of stress through repeated and obsessive movements. The only way to stop the abuse of these wild and Peaceful animals is not to finance this business not going there. If you go there you are accomplice if that violence

So there was a baby elephant chained for walk-in costumers to pose with him. 100THB was the charge, just for the pleasure sake of non Asian clients this poor baby had to perform tricks & pose for photographs. For another 100THB one could feed the baby bananas & sugarcane cubes. I wish there was a method to this madness where a animal centric rile is laid out so as not to distress the animal.

Animals are kept in very poor condition. It's so sad and disgusting seeing these poor elephants and monkeys with very short chains, not even 1 meter long. There are much better places in phuket if you really want to feed animals.

This place should be closed along with the owners and the staff. Everybody can see the elephants on chain from the road. One was on a chain no longer than 30cm, literally had no chance to step even one. Congrat on everyone who visits/visited anytime this shame.

The abuse these animals go through so that people can ride them is unfair, disgusting, and pure evil. Please reconsider going to this activity and rather spend your time and money going to an ethical elephant sanctuary. Where 100% of the profits go to saving these elephants from torture and abuse. If you look at the elephants you ride you can see the deep scars in their ankles and head from bull hooks and chains. There are plenty of informative videos on YouTube where you can truly see the horrors these beautiful animals go through. Elephants are one of the only animals in the world that truly have emotions such as ourselves. They have best friends, they grieve, and they have very sensitive skin. Please do not go here.

DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PLACES! We did the zip lines which was fun and this place was next to it. The elephants and monkeys were chained up 😢 some elephants had things on their back ready to carry people. It's better to support the sanctuaries that rescue elephants from these kind of places and give them a better life, where they're taken care of by keepers that are knowledgeable and allowing them to roam free like they deserve!

Called beforehand and the guy, Tu, was helpful at explaining the different programs. Arrived and got right to it!! The ATV ride was thrilling. Free shuttle from and to our resort was a perk. It was a great experience!! Well worth the price we paid.

We can see some 6-7 elephants and the ride was nice. May spend around 1 hr. Feeding animals costs THB100.

It breaks my heart to see these beautiful creatures like this. This is clearly abuse. Please don't go there and don't support places like this. It's just unbelievable that something like this still exists in this world. I hope this place has to close soon and that the elephants and monkeys get a chance of a new beautiful life somewhere else. I am praying for them.🙏💔

DO NOT SUPPORT PLACES THAT TREAT THESE BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS SO BADLY. You can see driving along the road that the animals are chained up. visit an elephant sanctuary if you wish to see elephants

Sad place, the monkeys they had left us with a really bad aftertaste. They have no way of moving freely and you could see stress in a lot of them

Sad, chained up elephants with riding saddles. We didn’t go in because we don’t support animal cruelty, but we drive past it every day. Don’t go here.

Such a great experience, loved it. Just didn't like the idea of the elephants being tied up,but I suppose it's for our safety. Also there were 2 goats in a cage, not sure why! !!

I went here for a Snake Show. The show was short but decent. Only lasts about 15 minutes. Definitely not for the faint hearted as you sit probably at most only 5m away from the snake pit. They have a Cobra, Python and King Cobra. Each is shown to you individually. You can hold the python and take a photo with it for a few of 50 Baht.
