There is a restaurant upstairs. We found the food is very cheap but tasty. We didn't buy any seafood from the market. But we just order some Thai food instead in the restaurant . I highly recommend people to drink the soup there. 70 Thai dollars can have a (small one), but it is actually a bowl for two persons! The fried noodles there are also great! The View form upstair you can see the whole view of the night market. We went there on Friday. we are not sure it is that crowed and busy on other days or not.

It was an interesting experience but be careful of scammers. We bought live food from the market downstairs and brought them up for cooking. We went to the most popular stall for cooking and the bill was 500 baht, we were however given a receipt of 600 baht. So the payment isn't done by cash, you gotta go to the card station where u pay the amount in exchange for a card and u return it to the store. We relooked at the receipt and couldn't understand why the amount was 600 as it was in thai, the lady at the card checkout took it back to that store and that same guy who served us immediately looked ashamed like he'd been caught. He was reprimanded by the lady while wearing a sheepish smile. I guess he wanted to try his luck at cheating an extra 100 baht from tourists, I mean it's not a big amount but it does speak volumes about the store's ethics. Also, food wise, its not Thai style at all. Its more Chinese style, I guess to cater to the majority Chinese crowd. Speaking as someone of southeast Asian descent who has been eating chinese food all her life. Overall though it was an interesting experience, just beware of aggressive sales tactics that involve arm grabbing

All about fish and food. Like a night market but then a bit more advanced with loads of fish and seafood. I strolled around and finally came back at a vendor where I took a lobster+seafood fried rice+big Chang for 600+150+100 Bath. I believe not a bad deal, cause there came quite a lot of meat from the lobster. Its weight was uncooked almost 1000 grams. It's a bit cheaper than the average restaurant in down town Patong Beach. The staff is very friendly as soon then spoon you in, besides that they are really pushy to get you in. There are also meats, fruits and outer goods sold at this market on the side of the main hall.

Amazing Market, lot of different kind of fish, lobster, crabs, shrimps and prawns. Fantastic, if you will have fresh seafood. Also veggies and fruits are offered at the same area. Food and drinks are also freshly made. Generous ice cream, shakes and smoothies can be enjoyed. Fresh Sushi, Sashimi, grilled fish, thai, Chinese noodles and a lot of more dishes to an affordable price will make the choice diffi6. Enjoy !

Be carefull of the weights that they use to sell the seafoods. Originally downstairs, our fishes and lobsters are weighed in at 1 kg each but when we got to the stalls in the upper part of the market to cook the food, they are only weighed in at 0.5 kg each. Be aware of these disingenuous tactics! The people who sold us the seafoods are rude and will get angry if you dont end up buying at their place.

Fresh Seafood cooked perfectly by Mimi on the street at a fraction of the price at restaurants. So if you do not need the artistic decorative droppings from the chef but are able to enjoy the food as is served simple then this is the place to go. Was eating prawns, mussels and fish.

What a great experience! Spent a few hours here wandering around - lots to see and smell - be careful if you're sensitive to strong odors!

Some tips to the first come people: 1. Price is negotiable. In my case, the listing price was more than 10,000THB. I paid the final 5,200 including the cooking fees. 2. There are multiple stations in second floor. Compare some of them first. Also there’s a outside dining place on second floor to choose. 3. You better go to inside to choose the live seafood. Before you get in the first floor, multiple vendors will approach you and ask you to eat outside the building. 4. The price is really good for the live seafood for seafood lovers. We got a big Australia lobster(1kg+), Geoduck (1.5kg), a fish (0.5kg), 4 oysters, 4 shrimps, and another one.

The hawkers only open in the evening. They are very competitive to get customers. They can tell you how cheap they can do but the price is pretty standard. Just try your best to negotiate the price. We went for the none halal stall as they have pork options. Overall the food experience was nice.

Street stall next to bangla boxing stadium and outside bansan market. Good price seafood. If you want live fresh seafood go inside the market and buy fresh and go upstairs to get the restaurant to cook for you. Price is much more reasonable than Main Street restaurant

Nice area, it was a regular variety of fish that you can get in any restaurant in Phuket, however, a lot of tables were occupied.

Great market. Opens around 6 afternoon i heard. They dont only sell fish, its actually closer to a food festival where you can buy all sorts of delicious thaifood. If you like food you will love this place! Its a cultural must to visit this place. Abother plus side is that there are no drunk people arriving here because they get plucked up on the prostitutes and the strip clubs before they can even arrive here..
