Went in July 2022. Overall: 2 star experience. Good: - Quality of beach: sand is white and beach is clean and relatively empty - Food and drinks: quality is decent and price is reasonable OK: - Costs 100 baht to get in. - Rents you snorkeling gear for 200 baht even when there is nearly zero visibility in the water (they should know this). Understandable but little heads up would've been good Not OK: - Does not let you book your own taxi or BOLT to leave the premise. Somehow must book through their service, which costs significantly extra. For my 7 min ride, a normal bolt taxi was ordered for 200 baht. When the driver arrived the beach staff asked him to leave. Had to pay 300 baht to use 'their' taxi service, with extra waiting. Why did they let drop-offs happen but not pick ups? The lady working at the counter literally asked us to walk 5km out to get our own taxi if we didn't want to use their taxi service, with a really bad attitude. Shame on this bad customer service and tourist trapping tactic, as otherwise the experience was overall positive. The tall Egyptian man spoke good English and was helpful.

What an experience! But beware, it will cost you money to experience this. We loved every moment here. Some snorkeling can be done by hiring snorkel equipment, but be aware you will need to pay a big deposit. The ride down with the pickup truck is an awesome experience, I think that is why you pay entrance. The beach is well serviced and staff are everywhere to help. You'll pay a premium for the luxury beach bed (800 BHT) but we found that really made the day for us, apart from the fish we could see while snorkeling. Drinks are pricey but that is to be expected. The massage facility really gave us a pleasant experience at a reasonable price. Well worth it! This one is a must see in Phuket in my opinion.

Very disappointed experience! Scam. To our surprise, we were informed that there was an entry fee of 200 baht per person—a cost we were willing to pay for the promise of a memorable time. However, what followed left us feeling disheartened and taken back. The staff proceeded to search our bags, confiscating any food and drinks we had brought along, even a simple bottle of water. The act of having our bags scrutinized and our belongings taken away felt intrusive and discomforting, as if our rights and privacy were being violated. We had visited various attractions before, both in our homeland and abroad, but we had never encountered such a stringent policy. The experience left a bitter taste in our mouths, overshadowing any excitement we had initially felt. Do not recommend. Stay away. There are plenty of beaches around with free access and friendly people.

SCAM! Stay away from this beach. First they charge 200 bht entrance fee, then they don't let you bring your own food and drinks (even WATER) to the beach. They check your bag, not just a quick look but search through everything!!! Very rude and unpolite staff, laugh at you if you have a question. We asked to get our money back and left!! As someone said before, best advice is to go to a different beach!

Tourist trap, not worth to visit, they wont let you call your own cab to go back and they overprice their service like 400baht for 5 min ride. The driver was rude and let another couple for 400baht instead of letting us split. We agreed to go to the hotel and he dropped us in Patong center amidst a heavy rain and we had to walk. The beach looks nice on photos but there was a lot of debris in December 2022 including seaweed and plastics which made swimming unpleasent. There is 200baht entry ticket which includes 1 drink from a limited choice.

    1. They blocked way to the top so we decided to leave our car and walk. 2. After walking uphill in 35C degree we encountered that we need to pay 7$ per person to walk in on the beach. 3. After payment we discovered that we would be searched and our chips and drinks would be confiscated. So I strongly recommend you to stop on step zero - don't come here. There is nothing special in this beach, on Phuket you can find better beach for free.

Nice beach, but impossible to swim during low tide. There are many stones and corals. There is also a monopoly of taxis, meaning you cannot exit directly from the beach without them. Entrance is 200 baht which includes a shuttle to/from the beach and a sun bed. They will confiscate all food and drinks upon entry -even water.

Nothing paradise about this beach. Ants and flies, sea very rocky except one small strip. Sand nice in parts, renovation is going on. We were directed to sunbed area, beds not the best. Certainly better beaches elsewhere. Over priced taxi to take you into phuket. No wifi. 200 baht entry pp you get transfer, sunbed included. They search your bags too. Don't bother going

You don't miss anything if you won't visit this beach. 200 baht entrance . And you cant take your own beverages with you, even water. The stuff take take all your eatable belongings from you and return back when you go out. Some unpleasant issues with getting taxi on the way back, if you dont have your own transport. You are forced to use the local overpriced service.. If you intend to meet the start of a sunset, there is a good point for it on the top of a hill. Cant stay there for long though, cause beach closes at 5 pm. Anyway, no regrets in general. Just one-time visit, no more... better go visit Freedom beach.

I don't know why anyone would want to come to this beach. It's not the fee to get in, recently increased from 100 to 200 baht, that's fine I guess. But once you get there it's cramped. They occupy every inch of the tiny beach with worn out, ugly beach lounge chairs. The only way you can get an unobstructed view of the water is if you pay 1500 baht for a primo bed-like chair. They play techno from the beach restaurant. At least there aren't any loud boats, like on freedom beach.

NOT recommended. You have to pay 100 THB to enter the beach. You cannot bring your own food and drink. EVEN WATER! Would you like to sit down? Sunbeds are included in the price, but they are old, dirty and partly damaged. Sun Beds are charged an additional THB 1,000. The beach is a disappointment and the whole thing looks like it stopped in the '70s. Would you like to walk back from the beach to the hotel? Staff tell you to take a TukTuk for 350 THB, even though a BOLT ride costs 200 THB. Staff chase away taxis that are not in collusion with them.

The bad thing about this beach is that they charge you to enter and they also charge you to be at the rest, it's all about money. It is a beautiful beach that has everything, it is small. and you have food drinks etc.

The beach is beautiful and well conserved. However, be carefull because they dont allow you to bring any drinks and food inside, even water isn't allowed! You have to pay entrance fee of 100thb and part of it is for the service which is unwelcoming... Unfortunatly we didn't have the time we expected, hopefully someone will see this and change something for the better.

The beach is really pretty and has all the services you may need: toilet, shower and restaurant You must pay 100 bahts to enter and you can lay on a beach lounger. The prices from the restaurant are good. They bring you the food to your beach spot

Open again but the service has gone seriously downhill! Firstly the price last year was 100thb with a free drink for any sun-bed. Now it’s 100 without the drink (ok same as the everywhere else). However if you have been before, the nice double seats at the front are now VIP only and are 1000THB per day with 500THB of food & drink included. Now it could be most of the staff are new since the reopening but the service is really bad. Seems most of them just want to sit at the bar all day and chat with their mates leaving a couple of poor English speakers to try and serve everyone. e.g I asked for a food menu, waited 10 minutes for someone to come back only for the guy to take the menu without taking my order!!! I just went to the bar and ordered myself in the end. They used to come and move the umbrellas around etc when the sun moved but all that has gone. They are also searching bags on entry for food and drink which is an invasion of privacy and is totally wrong!! Location, food and menu is still good so maybe with some staff training they can get good again. I’m here for a long time so will update if the service improves.

Okay good place with good service. Entrance costs 100B per person. You will get sunbed, infrastructure and 1 soft drink for free. VIP beds cost 500B. There is an elephant swimming park and elephant feeding spot on the road 300m before the beach. A lot of photo spots, average snorkeling. Reasonable prices.

This is anything but a paradise beach. Very poor beach area I recommend you wear shoes as this is not a sandy beach there is broken coral mixed in with the sand. The swimming are is small and againg shoes needed in the water as sharp stones and coral. Dirty broken and ripped sun loungers. Their was no running water in the lady's toilets. The complex is full of empty and desolate buildings. For a private beach which you get charged 100bahrt pp to be taken down to the beach and back less than 2 minutes ride. Do yourself a favour give it a miss and visit mils of sandy beach at patong FREE

Great beach! A few minutes from Patong Beach. We took a Bolt Tongo, and it was about 210 baths. The fee to enter is 200 baths, including a beach chair and, transportation to take you right down the beach. Everything was amazing. The only thing we hate is that they don't let the bolts or grab get in, obviously because they want you to take their taxis and charge you whatever they want. No problem, we walked for about 2 minutes where our boat was waiting to take us back. The taxi drivers from the beach are not helpful and don't care. It

We go there by taxi, and when we wanted to get back to Patong, the staff told us, the transfer from the city, not available since 2020, but it is still on the website. We tried to share a Tuk-Tuk with other guest to go back to the city together, but the staff preveted it, they wanted me charge 500 BHT for a new Tuk-Tuk for me only becase they get money from the drivers. I told them this is scandalous. After you pay the 200BHT ticket, pay a high price for the menu, they tring to cheat me.

No ATM, no shuttle, website not up to date! Cash only, no wifi. Cannot take bottled water inside. If you want to exchange money at the bar, unfair conversion rate applied. Taxi rate seems fixed but way too much for a 10min ride. Taxi driver took us to ATM on the way back. Overall good beach, food is standard, staff tries to help but started to feel like a ripoff, everyone tries to take advantage of you. Wouldn't do it again.

200 THB per person. I can understand asking people not to bring glass bottles or alcohol in, but they WOULD NOT LET US BRING LIFE-SUSTAINING WATER IN, said we had to leave our water at the office and buy water at the bar. It’s around 90 degrees out with 90% humidity. We said never mind and left. Avoid this tourist trap. There’s a free beach in front of the Marriott.

Not what it used to be. Used to be a dollar to get in now it is 8 dollars. The security searches your bag so that you don’t bring any outside food or drinks. The taxi back to Patong is 400 baht and you have no choice. Pay it or walk back. Food inside is half the size and triple the price it was a few years back. I will not be going back there.

Tourist trap. 200 baht to get in. Workers are very rude. You cannot take any food or drinks into the beach. We didn’t even go down to the beach but after reading other reviews after getting to service, we are glad we didn’t as it doesn’t seem worth it. Do not waste your time.

Went for local snorkelling and change from Patong. The place is run by folks not hiding that there are there for your money. Not allowed to bring food and drink in incl water. It’s a bit excessive. It is well organised with shuttle transfer from taxi drop off the beach itself. Place itself is ok but doesn’t deserve the name. Snorkelling - found that the best the beach has to offer is actually on the right end of the beach. Most coral is dead but there is a smattering close to the rocky area. Nemo is there but only 1 spot. Otherwise some colourful fish around but not many. Still worth the visit if only for distance from Patong where we were staying. Kit can be rented. Add 50b for life jacket and 100b for shoes on top of mask and snorkel. Also an extra value add is the guy who runs the snorkelling rental place has 2 very unpleasant kids/girls who literally threw rocks at my daughter and I while in the shallow water. This is without exaggeration.

This is the worst beach I have seen in Phuket, really small, full of rocks and dirty. They charged us 100 baht each which is definitely not worth for 5 min stay! I would not recommend, waste of time and money!

200 bath for entrance. One chair free. You are forbidden to take any food or liquid, even water. Water here costs 40 bath. Soups near 200 baht. Drinks near 180 baht. For such prices you think you get paradise rest, yeah? How about toilet with no toilet paper, flooded on a floor, where you are have to change you bathing suit? This is a paradise? Don't think so. Views almost the same like in many free beaches. Too greedy place. Don't recommend

🌴🏖️😍 Paradise Beach, Phuket is an absolute gem! The moment I stepped onto the white sandy beach, I was mesmerized by the crystal-clear waters and the serene surroundings. 🌊🌞 🚤🌅 I took a speedboat ride to the beach, which was an adventure in itself, and got to witness a breathtaking sunset on the way back. 🌇🛥️ 🍹🍴 The beach has several food and drink stalls, serving delicious Thai delicacies and refreshing cocktails. 🍻🍜 🐠🐬 Snorkeling in the clear waters was an unforgettable experience as I got to see a diverse range of marine life. 🐙🐢 🌊💆‍♂️ The beach also offers a range of water sports activities like jet skiing, parasailing, and kayaking. After all the activities, I relaxed with a soothing massage right on the beach. 😌💆‍♀️

This beach is extremely difficult to access. For the amount of effort that goes into it it’s not worth it. There’s other beaches that are free that are way nicer. You have to go up an insane hill to get to the place where you pay, then you have to take shuttle down. They also don’t let you bring your own drinks which is odd. This place is also a major wind trap. It was so windy. I had to leave after 1 hour. Don’t bother.

Everything was good until we tried to leave and would not let our Bolt driver come up the hill to pick us up. They were trying to get us to use their taxi and charge double, so we climbed down the steep street which is not good when you have bad knees. When we got down there the Bolt driver had to leave and we ended up getting another one. No problem if you have a car or bike. They will charge extra if you want a cabana which we figured that.

Heads up this is a “private beach” cost 100 baht per person to enter. We brought water with us but where unable to take it in with us as they sell drinks down there. For the 100 baht you get a beach chair to use and music playing while you “relax” not my jam. There is a quieter beach around the corner which is nice but in my opinion Tri Tran beach is just back the road is better and free.

It most definitely must have felt like paradise once upon a time before all the beach chairs, large dance/rave stages and whatever it is that lines the upper part if the beach. Peak season must be a real nightmare to visit. I have seen many island beaches in my time and this must have been gorgeous. Sad how over exploitation manifest itself in so many places. Hardly surprising though given the close distance to Patong.

  • 3/5 Igor G. 2 years ago on Google
Unfortunately, we got disappointed. The beach itself is OK, however definitely not the best. Prices for food are normal. Acceptable. However sunbeds at 1000 batt are surly overpriced. Food price is normal. But service… just wandering where all this waiters from… the team is totally lost. And food quality- they forgot to put glass nudels in glass nudels salad. From all beaches visited, this one is at the bottom of the list.

Beautiful beach. It’s a bit of a hike to reach (easier on the way down) but worth it. If you are not a fun of walking can still reach it via sea with the famous long tail boats.

It's naturally a beautiful place. Turned into a pay for entry beach. If you're staying in accomodation with no beach access this could be a decent place to go.

Beautiful secluded beach with extra hidden cove for swimming. Clear blue water, white sand, chairs on the beach. You pay 100 baht to enter and get a tuk tuk ride about 5 mins to the beach, but this price includes chairs and access to the beach. It was relatively busy when we were there (for low season). The drinks were reasonably priced. The beach itself is gorgeous, worth the money and trip.

  • 4/5 Roro R. 1 year ago on Google
Great staff and facilities! Very comfortable. You have to pay 100tbh for entry, but you get ride to the beach and free deck chair. Believe me, that's totally worth it, cuz at patong or Karon bech, you have to pay for deck chairs anyway. I really enjoyed the work of staff and facilities, free shower and toilet! Also, reasonable prices for food and drinks. Everything was great, except the beach itself. It is a lot of rocks in the water, you can easily hurt your feet. I took my swim shoes, but it didn't help much(( So, I think at least once in your life you have to visit this place, but I personally wouldn't go second time cuz of rocks. In August, no waves btw.

  • 5/5 Alexander S. 1 year ago on Google
Probably the best beach in Phuket. 200 Baht entrance fee, but for that you get a prestine, clean beach, restrooms and a sunbed. Free parking with 2 min shuttle to the beach.

  • 3/5 Saleh A. 9 months ago on Google
The place was great. My only issue is that when we were leaving, we ordered a Bolt but the driver couldn’t enter because there is a gate guard that prevents Bolt drivers from entering, I walked up the hill on the road till I reached my Bolt driver, and he told me that there is a Taxi Mafia that only allows taxi drivers to enter, so they need to fix that

  • 4/5 Dean S. 11 months ago on Google
Costs THB 200 to enter which we thought was a bit steep at first but the beach had great views, wasn't overly crowded and the drinks weren't too expensive. The water was definitely clearer than Merlin Beach and Freedom Beach which we visited on the same day.
