Decent value for the price. Booked the Ocean Comfy Suite which came with an ocean view and bathtub. I enjoyed watching the sunrise everyday while taking a bath. The facilities at the hotel are pretty good and the pool is nice, sadly the electric lines get in the way of the great view of the bay from the pool and dining area. If your room is on a higher level then it’s a non factor. After 7 days, ok three days really, I was quite bored of the breakfast selection. Not creative at all and barely changed and towards the end of my stay I started debating if I should go forget about the free breakfast and find something to eat elsewhere. Food via order room service was quite good and the prices very reasonable. Service was just average, that doesn’t mean they didn’t try to help, it just cook forever to get anything. Talking to so many businesses in Phuket during COVID, they all said it’s so difficult to find employees right now and are quite understaffed, so I can’t really hold that against Oceanfront Beach. I also enjoyed that it was a bit outside of Patong, but easily walkable, about 20 minutes if you walk at a brisk pace. They also have a free shuttle to take you to the Patong are if you want too. Overall, if you’re looking for good value at a decent price check it out. If you want luxury then check elsewhere.

How is it sound to you to get a room on the first floor, in front of the main road, and hear every engine of vehicles passing by DURING YOUR HONEYMOON?! Which you planned and booked a SUITE (yes, this is their suite) for 3 months prior?! And when you ask the staff to move to another room, and tell them you don't care to degrade to a regular room, just that you want to move to a quiet zone, they tell you there is no option? To me it sounds like a big no-no and we canceled the stay. Moved to another perfect hotel. Thank you oceanfront.

Overall our stay in the Ocean Comfy Room was good. We booked directly on the website which was cheaper than the third party sites. The location of the hotel is more in the quiet areas of Patong which was about a 10 min drive from Bangla. Pros: - The room was clean and spacious - The price is reasonable - Nice big and clean pool with poolside bar (drinks were a bit expensive though) - The staff were all very polite and accommodating (we loved Pat the poolside bartender) - There is a free shuttle bus that drops you off and picks you up from Bangla. - Breakfast (from 7am-11am) was good with lots of variety - The bath tub in our room was nice and big Cons: - The A/C is either really cold or not cold enough (room gets humid). It is a bit loud even on the lowest fan mode. - The bed sheets had some black dots and stains around the corners - The toilet can sometimes get a bit smelly - likely from the plumbing or sewage Important note: Remember to switch on the "Room Service" button at the front door - otherwise they will not make up the room. We didn't know this on our first day, but we called reception and they sent someone up write away to make up the room. Secondly, if you're travelling around, it's a lot cheaper to book taxi on Bolt when compared to Grab.

If you are looking for a Beach front neat and well made room overlooking the Arabian Sea walkable to Patong !!! Planning Scuba Diving and other activities in Phuket which will make you not stay the day and relax in the night with economic and delicious in-house food, This is the option for you. Almost all tourist companies do free pick up for a day activity and drops back if that’s in the package. The swimming pool is neat and they provide umbrellas and beach towel in room and more on demand if you have used towels from the day trip. Breakfast is outstanding !!! Saw a lot of Foreign tourist enjoy along with us the big breakfast spread from 6.30 AM to 11 AM. On the whole best place to have a sea facing room with a wonderful ambiance and safe enclosure!!! I stayed at the Oceanfront Hotel for four days in September with my husband. We really liked that the hotel has a shuttle service to Patong, the center of the city. The reception also deals with all kinds of situations. We arrived before check-in on the first day and they found another room very quickly. We loved the comfort of their rooms and also the pools are great for swimming and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel during your trip to Phuket.

We had a very enjoyable 5 days at the hotel. The room was spacious even though our view was that of a wall to the next building. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Patong beach for some peace and quiet but easy to get there and back with the hourly fee shuttle service. Service was friendly and prompt. Bed was one of the most comfortable on our 3 week trip, not too hard like you find in a lot of places in Asia. Lovely atmosphere from the rooftop swimming pool, esp at sunset, and breakfast buffet was excellent with something for everyone - we esp loved the smoothie bar. Room service menu was an encyclopaedia, quality decent. Only minor complaint as others have noted is that the AC is a little on the loud side and our mini fridge didn’t work so we couldn’t keep drinks cool.

Great rooms, well worth the money. The pools are nice and the ocean view is wonderful in the evenings. The location does mean that it is roughly 40 mins from the Phuket airport. The hotel is also a solid 10-15 min drive from town. Breakfast was good and consistent and staff was willing to accomodate when requested.

Great hotel with ocean view, but not a real beach to enjoy. Great street food Market few steps away and great food in the hotel. Breakfadt buffet had lots options and good quality food. Their Massaman curry was 💣 🔥, Pat made the best cocktails. Highly recommended!!

Right here at this very moment. Two days in. Booked 8 nights. Rooms are huge and comfy. Breakfast, for me, quite good. Asian and european breakfast buffet . Rooms, will be cleaned, but just after 3 pm. Okay with me.. Front office staff is not the most outgoing at first. But if you are cool, you are having a blast with them. Motorbike rental available and just booked a tour downstairs. Fantastic lady working there. For me, a good stay so far .

The room was really spacious and the resort has a free round service shuttle to bring you to Patong Beach and back. However, the WiFi in the room was really bad, and I kept getting disconnected. The aircon is quite loud too if you don't set the fan at its minimum setting. There was also some issue with the night lights which kept switching on and off throughout the night at random intervals. I think this was just an issue with my room, so I wouldn't say it's indicative of what all rooms are like. On my last night, I discovered a trail of ants and a lizard in my room. But as it was my last night, I decided against letting reception know as I had an early morning. Nonetheless, still a great place to stay at!

We have booked ocean view room and we loved it. Room interior design was one of the best. Swimming pool has great ocean view with lovely landscape decoration. Friendly-kind staff. Hotel restaurant was quite fast and delicious. Briefly, we were very pleased.

Good location, swimming pools are very nice, rooms are big, with plenty of car parking spaces. The lift lobby for each floor is off-set with few stair steps, don’t know the reason why was it built like that. Air conditioning was a bit moist, and not enough ventilation.

The services was excellent, we came to check in at 1pm and surprisingly we only wait for 15min and we get our room. Nice gym and nice and big pool, the waiters from Myanmar very friendly service (forgot the name). The breakfast also have a lot of choices also the beverages. The only minus is the room smell weird like sewer (looks like from the drain).

For sure this is a beautiful hotel. The room is really more than big enough. Very clean as well, I would say that the AC is quite noisy with no possibilities to reduce the noise. The pool is equally splendid. Breakfast also has a very good selection of choices. The only point missing a bit in my opinion is the atmosphere in bar/restaurant. They are open to the street side this doesn’t make them very cosy to sit. But other than that, good value for money.

I paid with high price and expect to get 5 star service but most of the things are bad. The floor is not clean, no hair dyer in the room, no battery in TV remote control, after clean the room no small towel replacement. And hotel restaurant is not welcome for Thai customer, after 30 mins no water served. This hotel is good view and facilities. Need to have services improvement as soon as possible

Me and my hubby had a wonderful stay at this resort. Was tossing up between Grand Wyndham or Oceanfront Resort but the infinity pool hands down won my heart and it did not disappoint! I didn't want to leave after 7 days. All staff are helpful and friendly- especially at the smoothie station at the buffet breakfast and the egg station. One thing that could be improved on is probably the English level of staff and house keeping where they can restock the items used. This resort is rated as a 5 star hotel and for Thailand it's amazing- I couldn't be happier. But in comparison to 5 star hotels from other counties there is a slight difference. All in all, I highly recommend this resort if you're looking to wind down and relax :) I would definitely go back when I get the chance :)

We stayed there for two nights, their rooms are very cozy. Lighting inside the room is great. Bathroom has an amazing bathtub. Breakfast is tasty and has a widespread menu.

Room was perfect and spacious ... nice n new places...great pool But service was really needed to be improved... That's the main trouble .....especially the receptionist... They needed to b well trained in hospitality service....

On arrival were were met by very proffesional and friendly staff at reception and was offered beverages whilst waiting for our rooms. The rooms were clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast and lunch were excellent and the waiters and chefs were helpfull, friendly and great with assistance. At the swimming pool deat Pat went out of his way to see that we receive good service. We will miss him dearly! Always helpfull and went the extra mile to see we enjoy our holiday. I recommend this place 100%!

Very pleased with this hotel. Some hotels in Thailand can be a little questionable but this was is excellent in all aspects and great value for money. Pools are fantastic, they could use a sound system and bar improvement but overall a great relaxing area. Good location just a couple of minutes into the busy Patong area. Bed comfortable, bathrooms very nice and rooms are cleaned very well. We will be back and highly recommend.

There were serval hiccups during the pre- checked in: - Hotel missed us out on the airport shuttle arrangement which we already paid for. - Once we arrived, there was a long delay in check in and the staffs didnt even bother to offer us a welcome drinks Generally our stay was pretty decent, Clean and spacious room, good breakfast and nice pool area to chill.

The room is spacious! There is a shuttle to the Patong beach. The food for in room dining service are delicious 😋 It was understaffed IMO. Also, the staff may need to learn more English to accomodate foreign tourists. The breakfast also need improvements. If those issues are resolved, I believe the price can be raised slightly.

Located on the outskirt of town, across the street from the beach which is really not a beach since it very rocky. There is however a free shuttle to Patong city. Breakfast is one of the best i have encountered in terms of variety and quality of the food. Worth paying a little extra for an ocean front room as qe spend a lot of time on the balcony. Hotel is estimated to be 50% full. Currently in the rainy season.

Great service excellent restaurants we are currently sailing through Asia and decided to have a week off the boat for anniversary. Last minute booking. We found the food in the restaurant excellent with comparable prices to most other restaurants. Alcohol was a bit expensive but we are not staying at the 7/11

Amazing hotel, very affordable with great facilities and clean room. We got the room facing ocean, felt very refreshing and relaxing during our stay. Staff was also very welcoming, Prim, Gift and all the other staff members were very good and respectful. Highly recommend to stay :)

Oceanfront is an affordable 5 stars hotel. My overall stay was pleasant with no major issues. The breakfast especially is on point every morning from 7-11am. The staff are welcoming & helpful. Had a room with a nice sea view. There are many facilities as well with an infinity pool. The only downside experienced was :- no microwave, bedsheets were not very clean (some stains). But overall this is a good hotel with good location near Patong beach. Will consider Oceanfront again.

Initially we booked for 3 nights but we extended the reservation and stayed 6 nights. Used all most all facilities and it was great. Room is clean spacious and room service came everyday for cleaning, the balcony view is stunning. Bathroom is great with available water shutoff in toilet. The breakfast buffet is varying and will satisfy all preferences. We used laundry service it is with fair price. The staff were always there at the reception and helping with a smile. We are really thankful for Prim and Sally for their care and assistance. Gym and swimming pool facilities were amazing and well maintained. Overall We enjoyed the experience. There was only one problem with the room door handle that is stuck and needs maintenance.

Dirty pool, terrible breakfast, staff allergic to greet you back, finding someone that speaks English almost impossible... and just fyi, the Oceanfront Beach in the name means that you can see ocean from here and you have to take a cab or walk 15-20 to get to the beach. But you can see it from here as well. What a joke...
