Room
Booked:
Luxury
Jacuzzi
Suite.
Price
Paid:
10k
THB
for
2
nights
including
taxes,
with
only
breakfast
included.
Overall
Experience:
Highly
frustrating.
The
Good:
The
location
on
the
beach
is
commendable
the
food
at
Kabang
Restaurant
is
delicious
Majority
of
the
staff
is
very
friendly.
The
Bad:
The
transfer
and
check-in
process
during
low
tide
was
not
only
time-consuming
but
also
disappointing.
We
had
to
spend
nearly
20
minutes
at
the
reception
to
check
in
because
the
rooms
were
still
being
cleaned.
Upon
reaching
our
room,
we
were
greeted
by
a
well
designed
space.
However,
there
was
a
huge
cockroach
in
the
room.
The
Jacuzzi
was
dirty,
lacked
privacy,
and
the
light
in
the
jacuzzi
was
not
functioning.
We
requested
the
installation
of
a
privacy
screen,
which
was
eventually
installed
24
hours
later,
just
as
the
sun
was
setting
and
mosquitoes
made
it
impossible
to
use
the
Jacuzzi.
So
we
could
not
use
the
jacuzzi
at
all
in
our
2
nights'
stay!
The
shower
area
in
the
bathroom
had
poor
drainage,
and
there
was
no
hot
water
available.
After
being
forced
to
endure
a
bath
with
cold
water
on
the
first
day,
we
complained
about
both
of
these
issues.
Someone
claimed
to
have
fixed
them,
but
unfortunately,
it
was
late
when
the
staff
arrived,
and
we
were
tired,
so
we
didn't
check.
The
following
day,
we
discovered
that
the
issues
had
not
been
resolved,
so
we
complained
again.
In
the
morning,
someone
came
and
fixed
the
drainage
problem,
but
there
was
still
no
hot
water.
So,
at
4
pm,
we
complained
once
more.
We
called
the
staff
three
times
between
4
to
5
pm,
and
on
each
occasion,
they
assured
us
that
someone
would
be
sent,
but
no
one
arrived.
Frustrated
and
tired
of
waiting,
we
finally
called
to
inform
them
that
we
couldn't
wait
any
longer
as
we
didn't
want
to
miss
the
sunset
at
the
beach.
We
told
them
that
we
would
have
to
bathe
with
cold
water
again
and
asked
not
to
send
anyone
at
that
point
as
we
wouldn't
be
able
to
answer
the
door.
Disappointingly,
the
reception
staff
simply
replied
with
an
indifferent
"OK"
and
hung
up
the
phone.
Overall,
the
experience
was
a
massive
letdown.
We
spent
10
days
in
Thailand
and
stayed
at
three
different
hotels.
The
Village
Coconut
Island
Resort
was
the
most
expensive,
leading
us
to
expect
the
best,
but
unfortunately,
it
turned
out
to
be
the
worst.
