I recently stayed at Impiana Resort and unfortunately had a terrible experience. My cash was placed in the hotel's locker, which was locked with a pin-code, but $1700 was stolen. When we contacted the hotel manager, we received no real cooperation or interest in the matter. The manager simply told us to report the theft to the police, with no action taken by the hotel themselves. As a supposed 4-star hotel, I expected better security measures and customer service. The fact that our room did not have any CCTV cameras looking at it made things even worse. We filed a police report, but unfortunately, nothing was found. Even the police officer mentioned that the hotel may have corruption issues, but had no evidence to support this claim. Furthermore, the room was not clean and was infested with bedbugs. It made for an extremely uncomfortable stay and I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Attached is an image of the police report for reference. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at Impiana Resort to be cautious and aware of potential security risks.

Location couldn't be better. Breakfast staff polite and attentive. Breakfast is good. General atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. Unfortunately, the rooms are a disaster, dark, mouldy, smelly, leaking roof, poodles of water on the floor, air con not working, toilet separated from bedroom by a saloon type door I agree with other reviewers, place should be closed down and renovated. Has great potential

The location was perfect. It is directly in front of the beach and near to all nice places of Patong. I gave 3 stars only for location. However, the rooms are old. Maintenance is very poor and I notice very low level of cleanliness. It seems this Hotel was not maintained since 3 years back. A lot of facilites are not working like outdoor lights, lobby facilities, Aid conditionner, etc.. breakfast was very poor and low quality.

Don’t go to this place. This place has great location without doubt, but the room stinks like old vintage store. Service not good. And hotel seem so old and no one maintaining this place. Everything inside the room are super old and stink. And for this price. You can stay at a much better place. Such a shame for the best location!

A resort near by the beach. Room is quite dark and humidity, a lot of insects, poor morning buffet, should improve facilities.

The place was mu favourite 15 years ago ..I been the many times since the first time.. I am truly shocked that the place didn't even get any renovation since 15 years . Even the bed sheets were weary 😩 ...the staff doesn't really help much in many issues with the room cleaning or the A/C or any questions about the need for fixing any issues with the rooms Too bad as I have special memories of it as I spent my honeymoon there ..but this time I had to go to another place... To be honest though it still holds the best location in town but they need to renovate to make me come back.

This resort has the prime location in Patong. Spectacularly located right on Patong Beach, you are able to go straight from the pool to the beach and vice versa. It is also a 3min walk to Thanon Bangla, which is the central hub of activity, and situated right across a beer garden with delightful food stalls and music. It may look like it, but it's not a quiet tucked away spot. The sounds of nightlife is clear until about midnight, but since our trip was to explore and relax, that did not put us off. The 1 star taken away from Rooms relates to shower water pressure, and heat. The hot water is often not very hot, and pressure comes and goes. Luckily, the climate makes this a minor issue. The sliding doors takes some fidgeting to lock and unlock, but that is to bw expected with wooded doorframes in that environment. It is generally very well kept, and I am sure as tourism increases, these little post-lockdown maintenance and renovations will raise the bar even more.

Fantastic location, but that’s about it. Having been here several times, but the level of services and friendliness of the staff have deteriorated very badly. It all started with no warm welcome (not even a word) and no bellman - had to carry luggage ourselves to the room. Very old towlels, which I would use to clean the floor, but not for showering. Pool-side equipment partially in horrible condition: Some of the ratan-chairs fall apart, not enough umbrellas. Tables around the pool and in pool bar simply not cleaned and very dirty. There is no proactive For a 4-Star premise - and priced as such - which the hotel claims, I am really disappointed. Same belongs to the staff, who needs a refresh-course what friendly customer treatment means. Seems like the hotel management is more into profit maximisation than refurbishment and customer satisfaction. I remember the days when this was all great…!

The Service was great, the staff are helpful and attentive. The Location was perfect, its located next to many shops and restaurants as well as the beach. But the only problem was the room, the furniture was a little outdated and in some cases broken, there were some problems with cleanliness but the bed was comfortable.

Room is very very dirty. Towels that were put in my room were full of stain. Floor is very dirty. The only thing good about the hotel is the service. Breakfast is very poor. It says 4 start hotel but it doesn't deserve more than 1 star. Definitely do not recommend.

Sea Facing property on Patong beach. 2 mins walk from the famous Bangla Party Street. All water sports like jet ski etc are available right in front of the hotel on the beach. Massage, Spa, In room dining and everything else is available in the resort it self. Recomend it.

The location is great right on Patong Beach and near Bangla Street. However, the rooms were dirty, and our toilet did not flush. The water was brown coming out of our bathroom sink. I probably would not stay here again. Not kid, very kid friendly, and the pool was mediocre.

Nothing special. The hotel's owners put themselves first before the guests. Shame really as it is a hotel with huge potential, in a peaceful environment, situated on the beach in a great central location close to all the shops, bars and restaurants.

This Hotel has so much potential, great location right on the main beach but really run down. The bathroom in our room was gross, mouldy silicone in the shower and just felt like it needed a really good clean! Bed and pillows really comfy! Towels smelt musky. We thankfully only stayed one night. Close to Bangla road but far enough away that you don’t hear music pumping all night. Pool smelt super chemically and wasn’t the most inviting area, needs more vibe.

Just run away and find another place. We were so shocked but the place that we just gave away the money we paid for 4 nights and found a better place. This is not a 4 starts hotel and rundown doesn’t even describe how bad it was. Dark, curtains were dirty and had wholes in them, bedside lights were dirty and had black spots in them and the worst part that the backdoor to the pool area was not sturdy and the room was full of mosquitoes that kept coming in . For the money paid and the 4 starts label we thought it will be at least decent , i would not pay even 100$ for this place.

The Good, the Bad and the Potential. The place is beautiful with a great location in Phuket and right in front of the beach. Said that, it seems the owners are using this hotel as a cash cow, meaning they want to make money without investing in the location. The employees they have are not enough to cover a full vacancy hotel in the month of December, from the lobby to the restaurant to the cleaning crew. Gosh they have a fantastic job with the resources they have available, and I doubt they are getting paid enough for all the work they do. The hotel has the best location to view the famous Phuket sunset, and having an outdoors bar you would think they would have people working to get drink to the crowd.... nope, the bar closes at 4pm because the employees have to move to other tasks. The per night prices are not cheap for this hotel, and had I know there were no gym available (my mistake because I assume there was one, when the description clearly indicates there isn't), I would have chosen another location. The room are amazing (depends which one you pick), with lots of room and loved their bathroom. Personally I think the owners should say this jewel to another company that actually cares about taking this prime location to the next level. It is fantastic, with great potential, but you need to care about it if you want to make sure your guests will be amazed by the experience. I congratulate the overworked employees for the work they are doing with the little help they are getting from the owners - at least that is what it seems that is happening. would I stay there again if I were to go back to Phuket? Not as it is right now, but if minor improvement, this hotel can reach its potential.

The property is well maintained and the location is just perfect. However, due to covid they are understaffed and thus delay in services. The buffet breakfast is good, but there are very few options for vegetarians.

Not giving 5 star due to some situations that I didn't liked. Location is definitely a 5*: They are just steps from either the city or the beach β›± House keeping = 3*: Even changing sheets ever other day, most of the times room floor and dust (never) not been cleaned πŸ™ƒ. Breakfast and service= 3*: In my opinion, it just have more variety of fruit, they only had 3 varieties and just 2 a day that they swap between watermelon, Pineapple and papaya. In terms of service from their staff I would say they are in need of some training, I had to call them almost every morning so they can bring the coffee β˜• and also to refill it! The experience I have from other resorts allows me to say this. Staff = 3.5*: Very friendly staff always with a smile in their face πŸ˜€, but their English was very poor. Swimming Pool and outdoor space including outdoor Bar= 3*: In need of some refurbishment in some areas, Sun umbrellas and their bases in need of replacing or repairs. Outdoor bar roof in need of repairs some wood missing and wood rotten. Internet = 4*: Outdoor Internet better than in the rooms at least for me, maybe was my phone...? Over all I will say I did liked and is more likely to return. In my opinion management should consider in a big update/ refurbishment in all resort.

Great hotel with good location if you want to be in middle of patong beach

  • 2/5 Ingve Z. 2 years ago on Google
Cons: The shower is not clean. Spunges/marks of paint/dirt, all over thr bath tub. Interior is really old and "broken". Time to change it out!! The round sun sofa has no cover and is just dirty. The food quality is terrible. Rice was overcooked. Beef was veery chewy, in a nadty way. Breakfast: Croissants are hillarious. They taste old, sour and microwaved. There were also birds landing on the food in the breakfast hall. Prices for laundry is 40 baht for one clothing piece. Wow. This is defenitely NOT a 4 star hotel. Pros: Reception and cleaning personel seems nice.

We stayed here for a week. It was a last minute decision as the hotel we booked was not up to standards and we needed to find something fast . It’s a great location , easy walk to get to everything we needed. We had room 105 , it’s part of an adjoining room so unfortunately we could hear everything that went on in room 106. By everything I mean everything . Every cough , couples going at it from midnight to 6am .. all the noises kept waking us up πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ I like the villas but I would not recommend one that has adjoining rooms if you like to sleep peacefully. Staff are helpful , we couldn’t be moved as there were no other rooms available and some sections are being renovated or repaired. They did try their best to accomodate our needs and make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Patong beach is your backyard . I have no complaints other than the adjoining rooms and the noise coming from them but that is out of the hotels control. Everybody deserves to enjoy themselves but maybe be mindful of what others can actually hear while you’re at it..

Very nice location, large rooms, right on the beach and everything available nearby, but poor maintenance and very little vegetarian spread at breakfast.

Great location, nice staff. However, the hotel is a bit outdated. Furniture and the overall hotel needs a heavy maintenance. The beds are confy. Depending on your room selection it get get noisy during the night (rooms close to the road). We requested another room however both ended up being on the same side of the road.Annoying locks and doors are not easy to lock. We had many issues to close it. Towel service is complicated, do not expect clean towels before 5pm, Im guessing due to shortage of it in high season. Breakfast is ok, unfortunately I had the chance to eat there just once so cannot comment further. I recommend guests to take spray for mosquitoes.

the hotel has a wonderful location, combining both direct beachfront and central patong, and green gardens. the rooms are spacious, beds comfortable. however i put 4* because i believe in the asking price range, the breakfast could have a bit more variety (very basic, consisted of literally: rice soup, curry, hotdogs, bacon, 2-3 assorted veggies and fruits. no cold cuts, no pastries, no noodles, even eggs we had to ask separately, there was no egg station on display and we were not offerred to order until.we asked) and the room amenities should include toothbrushes and hair conditioner. other than that, it was very very good😊
