The best thing about this hotel is the location. The rooms are okay if you don't mind an occasional cockroach and the flimsy door locks, or the general run-down feeling. For short-term stays, I'd recommend other nearby properties.

We had a worst nightmare during our new year stay. There was no water for 2 days during our 3 days stay. Facilities are worst. when we asked about water the owner told us to vacate and he was fully drunk. he was not ready to give refund. he was swearing at us and even threatened us and he is racist. Never ever stay. strongly not recomend.

Stayed at Porterhouse Beach Hotel after our SHA+ November 2021 The 3 stars are right, BUT!!! 5 STARS as the manager will do everything to make your stay great. He is kind, helpful, knowledgeable and an expat with perfect English and 4 other languages. The price is 3 stars BUT the vicinity to Patong beach, street food, restaurants, bars, other beaches, taxis, tuk tuks is fantastic. Plus grab and panda deliver to your doorstep if you want to stay in. The 3 story walk up is older, BUT, the beds are comfortable, rooms decorated with chinoiserie furniture, lovely day bed by a large window (in the rooms we saw) cool tiled floors, aircon, tv, fridge, all with a balcony big enough for 2 facing the ocean (sunset). The sun rises behind you so mornings on the balcony overlooking the palms, ocean and nice pool is lovely before it gets too hot. Small rooms have one room bathroom, large rooms have separate shower. A few different room sizes and levels with varying space and prices and views. Ground floor pool access look cute. Stay top floor I’d suggest for better views and the stairs keep you fit with all the delicious food you’ll discover! The manager has a cute dog Sasha, she guards the hotel well. Gardens are lovely and green. Pool clean and cool with coloured lights at night. Sun beds by the pool make a very comfortable space. Free bike parking not undercover but close to entrance. We stayed a week and wish it was a month! Thanks Raja!

Other than the view, nothing good about staying in this place. Best staff but worst owner (Drinking problems and girls harassment). Not to mention the worst check-out ever.

Desolate, cracks on building. My Thai friend said probably not a safe place. I crossed it off my list. It looks like the maintenance on this place has been neglected. Couldn't find anyone in reception. Only saw one maid in distance. I didn't actually stay here. Room pics looked ok. Pool needed cleaning.

I had great stay at Porterhouse Beach Hotel. The owner, Mr. Raj is the most kind and friendly. He helped and even went beyond what normal hotel service provide. The staffs are also amazingly friendly. The place is always clean. Staff always clear fallen leaves and makes the hotel clean. The pool is always clean. I just wished I tried more pool but I was busy touring Phuket. The breakfast was extra charge but it taste great. The price were same or even cheaper if I add coffee and the juice price. Overall, Mr. Raj and his staff made me feel like home. Thank you so much for making my vacation special.

What can I say. Wonderful experience. Hotel was clean. Pool very pleasant. Excellent location and excellent service. Room air-conditioning was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Very attentive and accommodating to individual needs. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

This hotel is amazing! The staff here and owner are so welcoming!!! They made us feel like this was our home away from home! Lookpla cooked amazing authentic Thai dishes for us when we were here, and the meals were excellent. Truly the best meals I have had since I have been in Thailand. This place is a must stay!! Make sure to speak with Lookpla to enjoy an delicious dinner!

What a superb hotel and lovely location in Patong! We had such a great time that we extended our stay from 3 days to 2 weeks! The view from our sea view room was magical and we loved having our morning coffee on our balcony every morning,watching the beautiful view 🌺 The best part was the super-friendly and funny owner who was available 24 hours a day to assist us with tour bookings and city sightseiing tours and even discounted tickets to the new amusement park! The room had a great bed with a proper mattress which was not hard at all...something that is sometimes almost impossible to find in Thailand.We slept so peacefully and woke up fresh every morning to enjoy our activities. The hotel is situated just across the beach which is perfect for beach lovers with plenty of small and large restaurants catering to every taste and budget 👍👍👍 We will be back in February for sure 🙏🙂🙂🙂

First off, have to give a big shoutout to Ann who runs the hotel for the owner (who is great but his name is escaping me). Ann was always greeting us with a big beautiful smile and made us feel so welcome. She really made our experience there fantastic. The rooms a very clean and comfortable, everything you need at the end of a day of adventures in Patong. We had a room with an ocean view that was beautiful. Every morning while we were out our room was mopped, fully cleaned with new towels, water bottles, and coffee supplies. They have an awesome pool surrounded by lush greenery and plants- perfect for starting and ending the day. I highly suggest staying here while visiting Patong Beach. You can easily access all the great food and wild nightlife, but far enough to find peace at night. Thanks for making our stay great Ann!

It was my first time visit to the Porterhouse Beach Hotel, situate right opposite the Patong Beach. My room was spacious and very comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom is cozy with a super hot powerful shower. The owner Rajah and his Manager, Anne are so friendly and warm that you immediately feel like they are family. Most of the places of interest, like Bangla Road, Jungceylon Mall, etc are within walking distance and travelling on foot is so much more exciting. I will definitely be back again one day.
