First of all: I NEVER leave bad reviews. Ever. It has to be egregious for me to say anything bad. That being said, if I can convince you to NOT give this hotel your business, we will all be better off. Our first day in Phuket, we were away from the hotel the entire day. When we came back, we found dirty underwear that didn’t belong to us on my bed. There was half eaten ice cream in the fridge that neither of us bought. Someone had gotten into our room, probably had sex in my roommate’s bed, and flung their panties onto mine. We told the staff, and they said they would check the security footage. They did, and they told us that we had let someone into our room and that’s when it happened. We demanded to see the footage and it wasn’t even our room. They INSISTED it was ours and got so snippy with us when we told them they were looking at the wrong footage. Finally we proved it wasn’t our room, and they said they’d check the right footage and report back. They never did; they are probably covering for a maid who was able to access our room. They wouldn’t comp any of our laundry or room service and didn’t even offer us a different room when this happened. They did absolutely nothing to make up for the lack of security and filth left behind. We also used the laundry service and it was beyond disaster. They mixed up the laundry of 5 different people in our group. Thank goodness we knew each other and were able to find our clothes, but if we hadn’t, we would have lost all our clothes. On top of that, they mixed up all of our charges and tried to charge us for each other’s laundry. One of our friends packed up all her clothes before realizing she was charged wrong, and when she went to the desk to tell them this, they demanded that she UNPACK and bring down all of her clothes so they could recount them, even though she had the paper proof that they charged her incorrectly. They demanded she pay the incorrect amount, even though she had the proof. She refused, and they spent the rest of our stay harassing all of us to find her and bring her down to pay. They seriously harassed me while I was eating my breakfast to go and find her and bring her downstairs. We ordered room service one night for 3 people and they only brought 2 of our meals. I had to call down THREE TIMES to finally get my food. Keep in mind, this is after a long day in the sun, and it took over an hour AFTER they delivered our food for them to finally deliver mine. Oh, there was also a cockroach in the bathroom, in case the above crises weren’t compelling enough for you.

What can you expect from a 3 star hotel? Okay room with decent service, and of course, the location you've chose. This is our second Travelodge experiences. Since the first one in Bangkok downtown is acceptable, we'd think this one in Phuket with high review would be, if not better, but least equal. We couldn't be more wrong. This is not only the first hotel I had to request to talk to the manager, but with the lowest overall employee quality I've ever encountered as a digital nomad. They would give you such a disrespectful look that you could tell even with their masks on, some of them would murmur in Thai and laugh right in front (if not at) you. The refrigerator in our room is broken and our food gone bad in one night because of that, but not only did they have nothing to compensate you, but they said "We'll have someone look at it once you checked out". The FD manager is the rare one with good and professional attitude among the whole team, hopefully you are lucky enough to be serviced by him.

Location not too bad. Rooms are average. We booked one night. Check in process was painful, it took two hours! When I finally checked in I went to the car to get bags, and the lady who just did the check in came running out to ask me to pay my bill before I leave, she thought I'd just checked out. It didn't end there, that evening we received a phone call from reception who stated that I tried to mislead them and that i had told them I paid for 2 nights when really I'd only paid for 1 night. This was not true. It did not occur to them that perhaps somebody in their staff made a mistake. Anyway, no apology or anything like that, only an accusation of dishonesty. I travel extensively and to me this treatment is not acceptable. I would not stay here again because who knows what they will accuse the next poor customer of, who maybe won't have the language skills to deal with such a thing. Avoid.

We chose this hotel as it just opened a few weeks ago. It's out of the way of noisy street traffic, but there's a big construction site next door. But we couldn't hear it in our room. The room was super modern. The bed was two feet wide and we had a beautiful view of the pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and much better than expected. I highly recommend the hotel.

The room is new and clean and the location is great. There is a 711 just across the road. However our check in experience wasn’t quite impressive. We checked in around 12pm before the check in time so the room wasn’t ready so we just deposited the luggage and came back again after 2pm. The lady who did the check in for us wasn’t really friendly. She gave us a keycard and once we were up to the assigned room, the room wasn’t ready with a door open and the bed still untidy. We need to drag our bags and luggage down to the lobby again just to tell them that the room wasn’t ready. To be honest, after a long day of traveling this is very frustrating. And we checked in way ahead of time so the room should be ready. All in all, the hotel is nice. We like the room and location. Worth the price.

Staff 10/10 Hygeine 10/10 Breakfast 10/10 Location 10/10 Been coming thailand for 12 years, Travellodge Phuket is now my favorite hotel. The beds in the rooms are of high quality, very comfy! Bathrooms are of course brand new and modern along with the rest of the building, shower gel and shampoo/conditioner always topped up, plus 2 clean towels and 2 flannels daily. Large smart tv,fridge, kettle (tea, coffee and 2 waters) hair dryer, hangers and also usb ports next to bed with master light switches also (very handy)and a safe. Decent size pool with loungers and chairs.24 hour free gym on the first floor, great for a morning 45 minute uphill walk without going outside! Located with most other condos, 2 minute walk to phuket central shopping mall and lots of other shops and restaurants. under ground parking with 24 hour security. Staff couldn't be more friendlier, such a credit to the hotel. Breakfast either is included or at a very reasonable 220-250 baht buffet wether it be pad thai, boiled, cereal, cakes, croissants, yoghurts, fruits, daily alternate rices, sausage, ham and a few more dishes. Most importantly 2 chefs working ready for requests for either scrambled/omlette/fried or even boiled eggs ready to be served. Stare of the art coffe and tea machine and a selection of fruit drinks and milks also. There is also a bar downstairs i belueve happy hour is pretty much all day..everyday 2 4 1! When travelling in Phuket from now, this is my home :)

The hotel is new and modern, rooms are pretty small but functional and everything works. But location is a huge issue, there's no store nearby to buy water. There's just a big mall a bit of a walk away but there's no proper sidewalks to get there. To get to the old town it's a pain. Street isn't walkable, taxis scam you, public transport isn't frequent and GrabCar usually has no drivers available. Seems govt in Phuket town is more interested in letting taxis scam tourists then making it easy for tourists to get around.

The room was clean and adequate in size. The pool was nice. Had a smart tv but only access to a browser (through which you can access YouTube), otherwise local channels only. I would have given 4 stars but The staff were a little moody and I think the lady who checked us in tried to scam us. She said the room was 1400 baht per night but insisted that I had to pay by cash and that the card reader was broken, even though I could see that the card reader was on. When I said that I had no cash and I needed to go atm she insisted that I pay her before she finishes her shift (which was shortly after). We were concerned but we were very tired so we just did that so we could check in. The next day I extended my stay and another staff member charged me 1000 baht, and miraculously the card reader was working. I asked for a receipt for both nights, the original lady who served me on my first night overheard me being served and when I was about to get into the lift to go to my room she came over and told me that she would do me a special offer and offer me 400baht discount for the first night which I had already paid for (in other words she would give me 400 baht back in cash). Location wasn’t great but there’s a huge mall 5 minutes walk away, Andamanda water park 25 minutes walk away and old town 30 minutes walk away. (All accessible by grab) In general we found Phuket to be super expensive in terms of getting taxi relative to the rest of Thailand. This obviously isn’t the fault of the hotel but with most locations being far from the hotel, it was difficult to get around without costing a fortune for travel.

I booked this hotel to stay near Lomprayah Bus Station and it was the perfect location as I could literally walk to get there. There is a 7 eleven right next to it and Central Phuket (Shopping centre is within minutes walking). The hotel is modern, it has a pool, gym, restaurant. It was clean and spacious. It has 24 hour service and you can book a taxi right from the reception to the airport for a very fair price, and you can use credit card! (Which is not common in Thailand). Staff were friendly and helpful :) I would happily stay here again!

New room with good quality of all room amenities. Reasonable price. Easy access and close to 7-11 or you can walk to Central Florista. They provide shuttle bus to Central too. High security with keycard. Staffs are very nice.

Simply the best hotel I had in Thailand. The rooms are very clean and have the latest facilities. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is fantastic, fresh and the price is perfect too. The best thing was that the fitness room was open 24 hours a day and you could come in at any time. It is a quiet environment and is close to a 7/11 and a laundromat as well as the large Central Phuket shopping mall. I felt at home and will definitely be back next year. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Overall, it is good. The hotel location is in the city, various convenient stores available nearby, center of tourism attractive place between Phuket Old Town to the south. The hotel is clean, be ready, well prepared for welcoming client. Swimming pool is great, my kid supper like it. He enjoyed his swimming almost 30 minutes until we begged him to leave for dinner. Friendly and helpful staffs. After checking out from the hotel we just wanna spend time in the city for few more hours, then asking them to keep our stuff here first. She's accepted with smiling and warmth. Worth paid to stay here.

A fairly new hotel near Phuket town. Reminder: it's not in Phuket town but near. In my opinion, it best suits guests who have their own transport/car. It is a bit further away from everything but since we drove, it wasn't a problem. Check in was smooth, the rooms were basic & clean. Something one would expect from the Travelodge chain. Overall, it was a good experience and great in terms of PPR.

Don't let the distance to the mall fool you. The location is still bad. Nothing much to do around here. Also the shower constantly switches from hot to cold. The fire alarms go off too often because someone triggers it. You have to keep bothering the Hotel staff which to help you with stuff and the cleaning personell is understaffed. You have to wait too long for your room to get cleaned, unless you bother hotel reception, but even then it isn't guaranteed. I don't recommend it. Get another stay in a more decent location and staff.

5 ⭐️ We almost spent a month there and everyone was so helpful and kind. Long story short; We previously rent a appartement nearby but left after few days because the bed was hard as stone and couldn’t sleep. We decided to try few day at travelodge to get rest before finding a new apartment. We felt so good and comfy that we kept extending our stay! 🙏 Amazing staff, amazing hotel, great situation, nice breakfast and the room… wow! so comfortable. Everything is there and around, the pool, the gym, the Central Festival, a laundry, Night market and more They answer our special need (broken leg so can’t walk) and provide us everything we asked and more. Special shout out to Korn 🙌

We stayed here for three nights, the hotel is clean and new, and facilities are good! the beds were very comfortable. What surprised us the most was that the food in the restaurant was so delicious that we came to the hotel for three days and came back occasionally, it looks like a four- or five-star-level cuisine, but the price is cheap, staff are very friendly!

This might have been one of the best hotels we stayed at in thailand. And we've seen quite alot of them. Really nothing to complaint about. The beds are super soft, but still give enough support. The showers are built and maintained at very high western standards. The gym isn't really big, but it gives all that you need for a good workout. The parking is easy and there is always someone to shine a light to help you park. The staff is super friendly and will help with pretty much any requests made. You don't have to carry your luggage, although I never have a problem doing that myself anyway. The pool isn't very big, but it is located in the shade of the building so it is a great place to cool down on a hot day. Would definitely recommend for a hassle and worry free stay. Oh and for those who care, the TV actually works and has a lot of entertainment included.

Great value, great location & great General Manager Travelodge Phuket is an oasis close to Phuket's best shopping, restaurants and the Old Town. I initially intended to only stay 2 nights and ended up extending several times and staying for 2 weeks. The hotel is relatively new, located in a quiet area, has beautifully appointed rooms, a lovely pool, a great gym, is in walking distance to Central Floresta, and close to Phuket's Old Town. The service, breakfasts, bar prices, and swimming pool area all made staying near the center of town a great choice. Special thanks to Travelodge Phuket's seriously motivated general manager Suthathip Yapanan as she is always around looking & listening to improve an already great hotel. I'll be back again very soon. Keep up the good work! Kind regards, Kenn

Overall liked it. Spent 19 nights and was satisfied. The hotel is new, comfortable rooms and beds. A good shower with good water pressure.. what else do you need to relax after an active day. There is a swimming pool but I use hotel pools rarely .. The location is convenient for those who have transport. Definitely going to pick this one up on my next visit.

Easy check in. I dropped my bags and went for a massage immediately in Phuket Town after arriving. My room had a smell, I couldn’t figure out what was it. I think it is ventilation. The hotel does not give you tooth brush and comb, so do bring your own. Towels, shampoo and bath gel is provided. Wifi was relatively ok. I had to work 1 day on zoom in the 1 week I was in Phuket. It is 10 min walk to Central Phuket which is an up market mall. I only went there twice. When I was too tired and lazy to go into Phuket town for dinner. You can use grab bike and it typically cost 60-70 baht for a 10-12 min ride from the hotel to Phuket town. They have laundry service too but it is by per piece. There’s a laundry shop nearby, 40-60 baht (25 min) for washing 9-14 kg load and 50 baht for drying (25 min) - they sell detergent / softener at the laundry shop too. The hotel receives packages for you, so that was great as I got some drawings drawn by an artist at a night market and she had to arrange 2 separate deliveries due to many orders she received. Overall it was a good stay if you don’t like noisy areas 👍🏼 (but I think i would prefer to stay in walking distance to Phuket town, it’s easier to get food, coffee and massages)
