Some family members came to visit us and we checked them in at BGW, they was so satisfied with BGW, everything from the rooms, prices, location, service and of course the staff there. This is a great hostel! In my stay in Thailand, I have stayed in 8 hostels and comparing to all of these, this is the best. Because along with all the amenities and facilities you get free drinking water and tea in the lobby. You can save a few bucks with this free drinking water. The location of the place is good. Only a few minutes of walk to the walking street (Bangla Road) and the beach. Comfy beds, spacious bathroom, free Wifi. Staffs are super helpful. Recommend it to every solo travelers!

I like this place. The staff very warm Welcome and the environment in the hostel very alive. The room is clean and for me the important things, the bathroom is very clean. They also provide towel in the room alongwith shampoo and bodywash. For your information, they also have motor bike rent and can help you with phuket tours and transportation. The price for room rent quite cheap they open from 400 bath/day and free wifi available. The location near bodega hostel and sleepwithme hotel, so it is quite strategic. You only have to walk 11 minutes to the beach and 7-10menit to Bangla street where Patong Beach walk held night street market every nite. A lot of nite club and foodcourt near this street. If you come for a party, this is the suit place This place quite clean, i book 1 bedroom with bathroom inside and balcony mountain view. But luckily the view already covered with other high building. But its ok, from the balcon you will still enjoy and relax. They put laundry hanger so you can wash and hang your cloth. They remind to save the earth by not too often changing sheet, they will change it every 3 days but if you need it to be change before day 3, you just can ask the house keeper. The air con a little bit noisy. In this hostel also offee bike rent for 300bath/24hours and attraction in phuket such as James Bond Island, hong island, na kha island, funtasea phuket and other trip. The owner ia very very friendly, i love them. The place near Bangla Street Nite Market. Its is very crowded on Saturday the over 21++ attraction. Accross the main road a lot of tatoo shop, gift shop, restaurant. Just becarefull if you buy a cloth, make sure ask them to use calculator to state the price otherwise you can be cheated by an unresponsible sales at the cloth shop near Amari Hotel. Only 1km to the beach and just walk to Hardrock Cafe phuket. Nice place. I like it

One of the best stays I've had. We took the 5 people family room which had 5 single beds. Rooms are comfortable and specifically the bathroom was clean. The workers were very friendly and always ready to help. It was easy to extend night and we could keep our bags in the lobby even after checking out and it was safe. You can book for island tours and also rent motorbikes from the lobby itself with a discounted price . I would definitely come back here again and it's suitable for younger to middle aged group

This place is just awesome. The room is just nice, with proper beds, toilets, and functioning air conditioner. Sits just 400 meters from Phuket's staple nightlife spot, Bangla Road. The couple who run this place is like the most resourceful and friendliest people you'll ever meet. They'd guide about everything there is to do in Phuket-whether you want something touristy, or something that the locals would do. Would definitely suggest this place to anyone I know if they're coming to Phuket.

Private room Bed was rock hard and moved when you did. Wifi is non existent. Shower broken both dispensers and shower head view of air-conditioning Evening service was great but morning service again non existent, slow and not helpful Close to the street market is the only perk

I was very skeptical about this place when I first booked but my perception changed after arriving. Staff is super helpful and they always greeted with a genuine smile. Place is very close to the Bangla and the beach. Internet is fast enough to get your work done and works flawlessly in all rooms but bathroom cleanliness could be improved. Overall my experience was 10/10 and I’ll definitely come back.

Hygiene is good, nice towels and bed linen. Good personel. However, they had a water reservoir that wasn't that large.. This resulted in no water most of the time. Not that nice to share a room with 9 people and using a toilet without beeing able to flush. Also a pain not beeing able to take a shower after visiting the beach. Also they shut down the AC sometimes because "it isnt good the keep it on 24/7". Good location, not too noisy. Good price.

I would give zero stars if I could. So unprofessional; they know nothing about hospitality and customer service. I didn’t stay with them because apparently they had issues with their booking system and made double bookings, so they had to cancel my reservation. I checked in Booking and saw they actually had availability for my dates in a deluxe room, so I told them and their reply was: “The type of room chosen on this booking is not available, you may modify the booking for a different type of room”. I mean, if you are the one who made a mistake that affects your customer, you should put your customer on any room, even if it’s an upgrade to fix your own mistake! That’s what any professional hotel would do. Don’t stay here, they won’t care about you.

Yesterday I was looking for a cheap and friendly room. I search from google I found this hotel and read the reviews. Most people give good reviews for this hotel. So I decided to stay at this hotel. I received a friendly welcome. The staff are very friendly 👍🏾 Anita, Jonny and all the staff. Help me find my phone and wallet. that I forgot on the public bus Give it back to me ❤️ They showed me that They are good service, have a good attitude towards customers and are friendly ❤️❤️ The staff will say hello to all customers throughout the day that they meet with customers, smiling and welcoming. If you are looking for a good hotel. I recommend you to come here, clean rooms, near Bangla Road. Near shopping malls, near the beach, friendly staff will welcome and advise you on places to visit as well.

Never have i ever stay at a place putting on the sheets myself. But it was okay. The bed was so big, comfy and the location was pretty amazing. Not far from shopping centre & Bangla Street. Also the opposite of the building is where they have laundry service 1kg=50baht.

Me and my group of friends stayed at BGW for 2 nights. When we arrived, the eletronic device we use to put the card to have electricity was broken. When we checked out they wanted to keep our caution for that. We tried to explain the situation and that it was not our fault. The woman in the reception was absolutely rude and mean. For this situation I would NOT RECOMEND this place to anyone. They also wanted to charge us more for the breakfast than what was stated in the booking (which was expensive for what was given) - saying that they hadn’t updated it. Bad experience 0/10

We stayed at BGW for 2 nights. The hostel it self was good, the room was clean and first person who assisted us was nice. When we arrived the card reader was broken. The bad part was when we checked out, they keep our caution for that (600bt). The Women in the reception that did the check out was absolutely rude and mean. For this situation I would NOT RECOMEND this place to anyone.

I stayed here for 3 nights and I loved it. The place is nice very close to bangla road and the beach. The staff was also very lovely and helpful, they helped me organize a cheap tour to James Bond island. Thank you 😊

Very bad staff, prices are not accord with booking, tried to charge us more every time they could.. Also, they kept our caution for the broken card reader that we never broke. Don't recomend. (There's a lot of lies in the response comentary) I really wish this kind of elaborate and thoughfull response was given to us in the hostel and not in the reclamation comentary.

Perfect place if you're looking for a budget accommodation. The location is great. Walkable to the beach. 5 min walk to the malls and the infamous bang la road, yet quiet enough to have a nice sleep. 7-11 near by. Surrounded by local foods. Very easy to get laundry done at local prices just across the soi. The staff are really nice and helpful.

Great small hostel. We stayed in their double room and the room was good. It had a safe, tv and little fridge. The receptionist Honey is the main reason we loved this place. She is amazing and so friendly. They booked our island tour for a cheaper price than normal, arranged our pick up services, etc. Very affordable and quality place

We would not recommend this hostel. We booked a private room that said there would be a balcony, TV and fridge, there was none of that. Instead, when we arrive, they show us to a room located in a building across the street from the hostel. The bed was rock hard and the room generally shabby. The wifi didn't reach the room and the whole stairwell stank of cannabis and cigarettes. There was also a lot of noise and knocking that sounded like they were coming from above that woke us up every morning and lasted all morning.

This person Liam sparks is lying. I've seen a lot of pictures in the search. I didn't see from this beautiful place to sophistication, respect and getting to know people, a place worth visiting. trips from the low prices. They consider you a boy from the family. I loved that a lot.

Nice hostel near bangla and the beach. The staff were very welcoming, location was perfect and the room was very comfortable. I also rented a motorbike for a couple of days, the process was smooth and they gave me great tips to explore the island. Strongly recommend ❤️

I have a lot of new friends I have made here. Have been here many times and the room rate is considered ok. Overall, the room is very good for the price, very clean, everyone is very helpful. In front of the hotel there is a bar and massage shop. Next to the mall and beach. It is considered a very good location, I recommended private room is very good. If you want to come see friends, try a room with 10 beds. I stayed in a private room but came to lounge and make friends from the 10-bed room. The disadvantage is that there is always noise from the street and pubs and bars, but overall it is good.

Two young girls work at the reception she help her mom work very good and friendly she name Alice and Ananya 😊🥰, I booked only 2 nights, then I changed my mind and booked another 7 days. I guarantee this is a hostel. Most wonderfully, a customer lost his phone and wallet on Bangla Road. They quickly helped the customer find his wallet and phone. They make customers worry free and smile when they find their phone and wallet. Jonny Anita recommends very helpful 🥰❤️❤️ I will definitely come back and stay again !!!!!
