As guests of The Mooring resort, we frequently visited The Cove restaurant and appreciated the kind staff and delicious pizza and cocktails. However, we think the food was a bit overpriced and, as opposed to the Christmas menu, the regular menu was somewhat limited for vegetarians (a few vegetarian pizza's only). Furthermore, as I also posted in a review on the neighbouring resort, The Mooring: Having been to The Mooring when it was managed and part of The Cove, we encountered some inconveniences that affected our general feeling about our stay. As some regular visitors told us, there had been a rather significant fallout between the two parties that led to the split-up. While we understand these things happen, we feel that guests should not be affected by this, and both parties failed in this. We couldn't shake off the feeling of being a child that was the victim of two parents fighting a bitter divorce, where one of the parents got the pool, and the other one got the restaurant. While we looked into the opportunity to stay at the Cove, we refrained from it as we would be denied access to the Mooring pool, which we thought was essential to keep our kids occupied. But as guests of the Mooring, there's a rather significant dependency on the Cove Restaurant as all other restaurants require a 15 mins walk, so similar to all other Mooring guests, we frequently visited the Cove. But it's pretty clear that there is a strict separation policy. For example, we witnessed staff from The Cove chasing visitors of The Mooring to pay bills straight away - even if people merely walked to their room to get their wallets, which we thought was awkward. On the other hand, Mooring guests are being directed to the Cove for breakfast but there is not deal available for recurring guests (so we had only breakfast there once). I would strongly recommend that both parties overcome their differences for the sake of the guests of both resorts. For example, by providing a breakfast deal and the opportunity to open an account to order food for the length of their stay for Mooring guests. And for guests of the Cove the opportunity to visit the pool.

I know this beach for many years. One could sit in a small restaurant and enjoy the nature, listen to the waves as the beach this directly in front of it. But „the cove“ behaves as if it’s their private beach as well… Since “the cove” owns is this place; wether you are sitting in the restaurant -or walking at the beach: you are forced to listen to their choice of music which can be even heard 100 m away. Even at times when there is nobody sitting outside… Absolutely annoying. I avoid this part of the beach and I will not go to eat or drink there. Bungalows and accommodation are not bad and the food, I tried it once it’s tasty. One month later: 22 of June 22: Someone must like to listen to loud music; - maybe the employees? The music is even louder than in the past. 100 m away from the restaurant it’s still so loud, that one can hardly hear the waves. It’s really sad. I’d call it “noise-pollution”. Sorry guys. Nice words like politicians do it..- but nothing changed. I asked the employees (I talk thai) if they could lower the volume a little - that seemed impossible… In other countries the police would come and ask to put down the volume. But it seems it’s all the “private beach” of “the cove” now. Nice behavior. I wonder how the owner reacts when his neighbors play loud music while he is sitting in his garden…

Warm cosy place right by the beach. Mediterranean cuisine and yummy pizzas. The service is excellent and they also serve fantastic cocktails. The waves literally reach right next to your table and the beach is quiet and shallow for kids to play around. Highly recommended

Lovely location to sit and relax, lovely food and drinks. Nice to sit at the beach and people watch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Satay Chicken pizza is fantastic

We all found it very disappointing. Very cheap ingredients used, some store brought processed food when it should be made fresh, main food items not available, undercooked food and wrong food items. Mostly the staff were not interested in helping and even tried to bring us a dish we had not ordered twice saying that we had ordered it. Our server made things very confusing from the start and we have not had such a bad experience before. We live in Phuket and found it the worst meal in a very very long time.

Loved The Cove restaurant. I didn’t stay there but had dinner 3 times in 6 days! Amazing beachside location with wonderful sunsets. The menu was varied and all the meals I had were tasty and fresh. Loved the prawn cocktail and salmon/pumpkin salad. The brownie with ice cream was epic. The staff were friendly, helpful and great fun.

The atmosphere is beautiful, and the beach, and a beautiful view. Service is good. However, the food is just alright. Nothing special, not much flavor. Small portions. We had breakfast here. Place itself is very nice.

Amazing Fusion Seaside Dining! We had a tough time picking off the huge range of food on the menu but the staff helped us choose. They were so attentive and kind, wish I caught hold of their names! We devoured refreshing whole coconut drinks to beat the heat! I loved the wood-fired pizzas, wraps, tapenade board with hummus, and literally every dish we ordered. Totally recommend the Mediterranean and Italian dishes! Amazing for a large group of friends! But I’d love to bring my wife alone on a romantic dinner the next time around too!

Scenery and dining was exceptional! The cove had good western food with Thai notes mixed in. -Seared tuna and chicken skewers were wonderful! -Breakfast omelette and Avocado toast with Thai chilies was stunning. You can get a good break from Thai food and have a nice quiet beachfront dining experience.

We stayed Nov 2022 with a toddler. The Cove in stunning. All the staff and owner Simon are just wonderful. We enjoyed the peace, quiet and beautiful beach. No complaints, would stay again without hesitation!

Nice environment, the personnel is also very nice. My food however (I had a « sourdough » pizza, that had nothing of a sourdough one) was not good at all, flavorless. And way too expensive for what it is! Very few vegetarian options, will not come again, unfortunately.

So serene and peaceful restaurant with pet-friendly environment. We took 3 dogs here and enjoyed our time so much. The portion of the food we ordered was good and tasty. Also, the staffs were so nice to assisted us for the gluten-free options (which they have some like spaghetti). Overall, this is a wonderful place to take a break with your pets along the beautiful beach

Dine at The Cove frequently as my villa (Mooring Resort) is right beside it. LOVE the smoothie bowl so much that I had it twice a day, not kidding. They offered delivery to my villa so I don’t have to climb up and down to get it, what a service 👍🏼 Had other dishes which are equally delicious, but I just had to talk about the smoothie bowl because it’s one of my favourite. 😋

A must visit if you are staying in Panwa area. Set right on the beach the venue, ambiance and food was top quality! Staff were very friendly and great with the little ones. Well priced for the quality and views 👏

One of the best resorts I have ever been! Few steps away to the beach from our room. Nice and relaxing environment. The staffs are very friendly and the room is very clean.

The best paella ever, I guess because the sae food cooked with it is super fresh. It tastes like heaven Place is amazing with perfect beach view & music. Pizza is not that good.

Great beach bar and very friendly staff. Delicious Breakfast can be enjoyed directly at the beach front, not to mention the excellent cocktails and dinner menu. We tried to copy the Manhattan cocktail tonight, but do not have Well‘s expertise. You got it just ‚perfect‘. We look forward to a return one day to find out what the ‚Well‘s Signature Cocktail‘ will be.

What a great resort! We were very kindly welcomed with a welcome drink by the owner simon and a little chat! We booked a bungalow directly on the sea, it was very large, with fans and air conditioning, very stylishly furnished, large bathroom and very clean! The food in the resort is also very tasty and creative! Simon and as well his team were very friendly and accommodating! they made our stay in phuket unforgettable! I can highly recommend this Resort!

We did not stay here but came almost everyday to eat during our 10 days stay in Panwa Beach area. One of the restaurants with very good menu, we wanted to try everything! Excellent service, nice beach right in front of the villas/resto. My fav cocktail was the Saigon Mule. Pizza was also amazing, if you miss it while in Phuket

Had a really lovely dinner here, the staff were very nice and the food was great! Right on the water, a great spot to go and see the sky change colors during sunset.
