😠 It was amazing to be so close to these incredible animals but this is 100% not a sanctuary. The company is clearly profiteering off of these animals who are kept in tiny pens and forced to perform for tourists all day long. One of the elephants was rocking back and forth in distress the whole time... People often mention elephants, experience, staff, great, sanctuary, elephant, recommend, good, amazing, time,

It was amazing to be so close to these incredible animals but this is 100% not a sanctuary. The company is clearly profiteering off of these animals who are kept in tiny pens and forced to perform for tourists all day long. One of the elephants was rocking back and forth in distress the whole time and many looked like they may have been drugged. I dread to think how they were taught to perform so many tricks. The guides - although friendly- repeat the same stories that the animals have been saved from logging farms and circuses. There is no sign that they will ever be released or allowed to live in peace. While they are not chained, this place is nothing more than a modern day circus. I would discourage anyone who cares about animal welfare from visiting. Many of the other tourists I spoke to also felt uncomfortable with the experience. For those looking for a proper sanctuary, we have read in books that the Phuket elephant sanctuary - not the Phuket elephant care sanctuary - is the only legitimate sanctuary. The name of the sanctuary and marketing is intended to mislead well-intentioned tourists

I am not a wildlife expert, but the people here are relaxed, nice and treat the elephants well, at least from what I saw and experienced. I had good time feeding and touching the elephants and the price was reasonable.

Phenomenal time with the elephants! They are so friendly and very well kept. I also like the fact that part of our ticket costs go toward supporting their Foundation. Learning how to make Pad Thai and Papaya Salad was also an added bonus, and they were delicious! 😋

I visited an elephant sanctuary in Phuket and booked the trip through Klook. It was an incredible experience for my family and me, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I highly recommend choosing the full package that includes meals and the elephant bath experience – it's truly worth it. The staff members were not only very nice, but also incredibly friendly. Their hospitality added to the overall positive experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the toilet and bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean, which was a significant plus for me. Throughout the day's activities, there were refreshing breaks where we were treated to delicious Thai salad and the opportunity to cook pad Thai. These thoughtful touches made the experience even more memorable. Additionally, a wonderful perk was that they offered complimentary photography services, capturing precious moments for us throughout the day. The photos were conveniently uploaded to Dropbox for easy downloading. This thoughtful gesture added a special touch to our experience, allowing us to relive the memories we created during our visit. Overall, our visit to the elephant sanctuary was outstanding, and I'd like to extend my gratitude to the staff for their warmth and professionalism. It's an experience I'll cherish, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to create lasting memories.

One of the most beautiful experiences in Phuket, the experience of riding elephants between the forests and feeding them, the place is very beautiful and the prices are very suitable. It is preferable to book in advance through the tourist companies

We had a very enjoyable experience today at the Elephant Care Park! The staff were friendly and the park itself is very well designed, clean and open. We did the basic package today and we got to make food for the elephants and feed them. The elephants are in very good health and look very happy at the sanctuary, which is very good to see. The Park itself also seems very ethical as they do not do Elephant riding and they let them roam throughout the day and only operate once in the morning and once in the afternoon so they don’t tire out the elephants alike other nearby parks. They also only have 5 large rescue elephants and a baby elephant which is good as they can look after them properly and take good care of them. We also got to watch the friendly staff cook traditional Thai food (Papaya Salad and Pad Thai) for us for lunch. They also organised drop off and pick up from our hotel - while pick up was disorganised and we waited an hour and a half after suggested pick up time (maybe Klook gave us the wrong pickup time), the drive back to the hotel was easy and effortless. Overall we had an incredible experience and would recommend this to anyone who wants to visit and feed elephants and are conscious of the visit being ethical!

The therapeutic elephant farm is amazing in every way. On the attitude of staff members to elephants and visitors. We had an outstanding experience, enjoyed every moment. We fed the elephants and bathed them it was magical, the elephants were so cute and happy, we wanted to stay there all day. The staff of the place made our experience even more amazing than it is, with good food and a happy atmosphere. Thank you very much !! The most important thing is that you are not allowed to ride the elephants there, which is amazing!

Very cool experience here. It is a very good idea to take care of elephants by this instead of riding them. I think everybody come to Thailand should come here and let’s love the natural and help protect animals!

Came here as part of a tour group. Was fin and informative. One of the better elephant sanctuaries i believe. No riding/trekking at this park. The guide was funny and informative. Elephants at this Park were from bad environments

What an amazing day, the sanctuary definitely puts animal welfare first so there are no tourist gimmicks. Preparing the elephant food was great fun and feeding them a fantastic experience. We then had a cookery class and a chance to taste the food followed by the best experience ever ... giving the elephants a mud bath and a scrub down in the pool. Be prepared to get muddy and wet, it makes the experience so much fun. Hot showers available on site and then more food for lunch. Everything was included, no hard sales on the day, they even take photos and videos, which are all available free. Awesome experience and our best experience in Thailand yet.

Now renamed as Elephant Sanctuary I believe, if not then I'm completely repping the wrong place. Either way It's an amazing experience with such gentle beats, very transparent with the day activities and where all the money goes. NO RIDING, as these are all rescued elephants but you do get to feed, bathe and wash the elephants. Also came with complimentary lunch

Wonderful afternoon with well treated rescued elephants and great interactive staff. We made food for the elephants. We fed them, gave them a mud soak, bathed with them and had plenty of photo opportunities. We were also given water to drink and snacks. After the bathing we were able to take a shower then a meal was cooked for us. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to all the staff. This experience will live in the memory forever!

Great team of people. The elephant's look happy. This was a great experience, they will take photos for you, this is ideal as you will want to get into the water to give them some spa treatment.

Friendly staff, what an experience to see the sanctuary that rescues elephants from their mundane work life. These little gentle giants need more love from everyone. Thank you Minty and the staff for this experience

I see pictures where people are able to ride elephants and pokers are used. PLEASE DONT SUPPORT PLACES TO RIDE ELEPHANTS! And as a tourist please STOP!!! It’s unethical

Incredible experience! Staff were extremely welcoming- we were looked after by Moss. He was a great tour guide alone with the rest of the staff. The elephants were stunning and the cause was great! Definitely recommend. Just to confirm there is NO ELEPHANT RIDING on site

This was a one in a million experience. To such happy elephants who are well cared for only enhanced our experience. Being able to get up so close to feed, pat then to cover them with mud only to wash it off was just so wonderful. You couldn’t get a better atmosphere to take you back to nature. The staff value added to all this in ensuring all had many opportunities to connect with the elephants.

Honestly, this was the most enjoyable experience we had on this trip. We booked a half day package through the website. Thirty minutes' drive from the city center. The tour guide P Chai was very kindly introduced us to the elephants. Then we fed them, it was so cute! We made a mud mask for the elephants and took them to the pool to wash them off. There are cubicles with hot water for bathing. Professionals will take photos throughout the process and upload them for free download. The buffet provided is also very delicious. I like this elephant protection park very much. It truly provides protection for wild animals. This trip was very unforgettable.
