Overrated place with extremely high fee. We came there in April, paid 800 baht fee for 2 people and we’re completely disappointed. The waterfall itself is kinda ok, because we know that it’s not the rainy season in Thailand. But the place itself is super dirty, a lot of trash and locals swimming with their naked kids in dark brown water. The hiking took us 10 minutes for both ways. Don’t recommend to visit

Beautiful waterfall and amazing nature around it, but the price difference between Thais and foreigners is too much in my opinion. Charging 400 baht for a waterfall is crazy, especially considering that that's more than 10 times as much as a local would pay... Quite sad that such a beautiful place basically scams tourists with these prices...

Do not go if you are foreigner, It is a deception, that they make different prices for tourists than for Thais, the price for a tourist is more than 10 times more expensive than for a theme and it is a lack of respect. Thai people : 30thb / Foreigner: 400 thb . Just stay outside, you can hear the gibon and enjoy a good lunch

Beautiful waterfall , a bit short path. We are living in dubai for a few years and it was a pure Oasis in a amazing island. There is a small shop with refreshments at the entrance and a nice restaurant in a 200m

Nice waterfall during rainy season when there is enough water flowing through there. There is a cost of 200 baht to enter, so it's not free but still worth it. The paths near the waterfall could do with some improving as they have not been maintained that well, and the facilities such as the bathrooms are in a very bad state. Make sure to be careful when raining as the paths become very slippery, so bring proper footwear along with you.

Bang Pae Waterfall, a waterfall in Phuket It is a beautiful and peaceful natural place. There are Thai restaurants and drinks. Delicious taste. Everything is very good except for the expensive fees for foreigners. I came here at 4 pm. An officer came to collect money but didn't give me a ticket. I think they might be scammers. After that, they let me pay only 200 baht. Be careful if the staff doesn't have a ticket for you. don't give them money

For the amount of effort it takes to get to Bang Pae Waterfall, I didn't think that it was worth it. It's not a big waterfall at all, so it was quite an anticlimactic experience at the end of the trek. I've been to MUCH nicer and bigger waterfalls in the Phuket region where you can enjoy the water from the falls in natural pools and streams. This one did not have that option. If you're driving or riding a motorcycle there, be sure to have the exact amount of baht for the entrance fee, because you will not be given any change. The fee for a car is 30 baht. If you have a lot of time, and absolutely nothing else to do in Phuket, it may be worth your while. If not, I would give it a miss.

20 baht for local and 400 baht for foreigners. Nice and clean. Good walk to the cascade.

Love the place. Very relaxing and great walk. There few tables at the beginning of trail walk and a small shop and coffee place. We were lucky to see couple of small red crabs, so keep en eye for them and take it easy. Bring some water and good shoes, because the terrain is not paved.

One of the nicest waterfall in Phuket. It's a must to see. As you get there you are welcomed by the sound of gibbons (there is a reservation at the entrance), but due to Covid you need a reservation to see them. Bang Pae have mini waterfalls also but the main one is at the end of the walking patch. You cannot walk any furthere ileven if you wish too, there is a sign (staff only). Take walking shoes with you, the place is slippery.

The waterfall is nothing really special. The 300m walk through the jungle was more interesting. It costs 400b per person. This also gives you access to another waterfall in the area but we skipped this.

Worth to visit. Nice stone rocky path leads to the waterfall. The sun doesn't shine while walking along the trail, it's refreshing :) I recommend it even with kids, you can wade in the cool water, and at the very end there is a waterfall with a bathing place for the curious 🙂 Visit cost 200 baht per adult, free for kids. The gibbon place next door didn't work. If you arrive earlier (before noon), there are not many people. Later, the flow increased.

Beautiful fall, but it's very hot when hiking the jungle trail to it. No breeze within the dense growth. Visit the Gibbons rehab center and donate.

Lovely walk from the carpark at about 500M, not the 300 as stated. Shoes recommended although the walk is much less strenuous than many other waterfalls and has a path all the way up. Not much flow at this time of year but I suspect better once the wet season is in full swing. And just lovely to be in Phuket’s last rainforest.

Small waterfall reachable via a 15-minute wall along a trail which is sometimes steep and slippery. Note that you’d need to make a prior reservation to visit the gibbon rehabilitation project. No viewing deck at the top of the waterfall.

Entrance to park is 200 with a motorbike. During dry season maybe not worth the time to go here... Its a nice walk to the waterfall through the jungle on a made path.

This was a lovely little trek and a refreshing adventure in the jungle to get to it. I took a dip in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall and it did wonders for my legs. Fun bike ride leading to this place. I suggest take the small route off the main road and it will make the destination worthwhile.

400 baht for a small waterfall??? Not even worth 100 baht, do not go. Save your money for better sites. They are really gouging tourists and don't want us here. They think we will pay large sums like idiots. I didn't pay as no one was around when I was there. Left after 10 minutes as nothing to see

It was a short hike up to a small waterfall at the top. The view isn't particularly specular but the hike was fun. The pathway is uneven and can be slippery so be careful. There is a gibbon sanctuary at the base of the waterfall, which we didn't visit. There is also a place serving a large variety of cold drinks, snacks and hot food at a reasonable price. Including the 20 minute wait for drinks, we spent 1.5h here.

Though not the most spectacular waterfall you might have visited, it’s a nice place, at least in rainy season, when there’s enough water. Nice walk of a few hundred meters to the waterfall (possible, but not ideal with flip-flops). Questionable, however, whether it’s worth the entrance fee of 200 THB per person. On the walk to the waterfall you pass the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project, definitely worth supporting. Closed for visitors during Covid times, it plans to re-open in November, by appointment.

Decent little waterfall. Short hike. The path leading to the top of the falls is pretty easy, but some places look like you could easily sprain an ankle if you're not careful. Restaurant, coffee shop, and smoothie shop next to a spacious parking lot. The waterfall wasn't particularly powerful. But that's not unexpected in the summer/ high season months. If you got extra time to kill, want to see some nature, and go ever so slightly off the beaten path you may enjoy the visit. The entrance fee is a little steep for foreigners, IMHO. 200 THB for kids, 400 THB for adults.

Nice environment and nature experience! You will need a guide to go deeper into the jungle!

It was a nice area, but I would not recommend it for people with limited mobility, the walk all the way to waterfall can be little bit tricky. The dual pricing for forengers, 10 * Thai bring it down a little bit, but it was not expensive, we paid total 200 THB, I think the price was for the whole car.

Make no mistake this is not a viewing point... you have to clime up narrow paths into the jungle but you do get the real jungle-feeling, beutiful nature. Better wear shoes than slippers.

We were here after sunset. In junge was already dark. We visited just first waterfall. There is a possibility to swim a bit near to it. Jungle in the dark is really interesting experience. I advise you to have hiking shoes, because there is no strict path.

Instead of charging per vehicle as postered 30 baht for small car, is 200 baht per person even as child foreigner price. Big log blocked the path unable to access waterfalls, Gibbons path blocked. Toilets closed out of order even though ranger says toilets available.

A brief and easy hike to the waterfall. Take a small towel with you if you plan to take a dip into the waterfall. It’s possible to swim up to the main waterfall itself. If you’re looking to relax a bit and be surrounded by greenery and swim in some cold, clear, mountain water, this is the the spot.

Beautiful during the rainy season. Don't miss the wonderful restaurant on the left when you arrive just before the ticket counter. It has romantic views over the pond and forest, scrumptious food and most pleasant service.

Bang Pae waterfall in the best waterfall in Phuket. The waterfall is in the national park. Little walk through the rainforest up to the waterfall. The views and the nature was amazing. It's well worth a visit!

👍👍 Thala Beach is a long sandy beach that stretches along the east coast of Phuket Island. The shores are filled with seagrass, which is the food of dugongs. The east coast of Phuket Island is rich in mangrove forests, which are home to marine life which is an important food source for Phuket residents...

👍👍 Absolutely brilliant! This was the highlight of our trip. We had a fabulous day not only at James Bond island but at the ice cream caves and other wonderful places. Patrick is such a lovely man and was extremely helpful to my 87 year old mother. The entire staff were great. Highly recommended!
