Ladyboys are there but please be respectful and if you're not sure, although there are always tell-tell signs, just simply ask and they let you know to avoid any unpleasanteries. I didn't experience any pickpockets and always felt very safe but mind your surroundings and keep an eye out for your bar bill. I absolutely had an amazing time and I can't wait to go back. In case you forgot any assesories, pharmacies at every corner😉
