Very impressed with everything about the Diamond cliff resort and spa. The staff are very friendly and cater to you every need . The breakfast are amazing. So much to pick from and all the food and drink are fresh and very well presented. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the view from the room we stayed in was stunning. I will definitely recommend the Diamond Cliff resort to all of my friends and family and anyone who asks for a great place to stay in phuket. I will be staying here again for sure. Thank you to all the staff πŸ™ we had a fantastic time.

Booked a week all-inclusive stay through Luxury Escapes. The room albeit a bit dated is very nice with a beautiful view of the bay. The all-inclusive package is excellent except no wine is included, and you have to choose between lunch or dinner. The breakfast buffet is amazing and they work with coupons for lunch/dinner so you can decide for yourself when to eat. The 2 pools are very nice indeed and you've got all day buses driving up and down the resort but still the legs get a good workout. All in all an enjoyable stay and a place I'd recommend.

A very large resort. Slightly out of the busy area but not too far. It is a five star that is a little old inside rooms. Very spacious and nice to have a table to gather at. Large jacuzzi tub in the room I had. A lot of walking to pools and restaurants. They have to get you around but they are not always there when you want them. Not a place for elderly people or those with physical restrictions. Staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was very Impressive but I did find the restaurant staff a little lazy. The stay was nice and everything provided was more then acceptable.

β€œDiamond Cliff Resort is an incredible destination for a vacation. They offer a wide range of accommodation options to suit various preferences. Although the pool isn’t large, it boasts a beautiful sea view. The food at the resort is exceptional, especially the Japanese cuisine, which comes at reasonable prices. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.”

It's a beautiful resort. We booked a suite in it, with an ocean view. Resort has 2 swimming pools, both are amazing. Breakfast buffet was also great. Staff is also very helpful, had a great experience at this place. Thank you @Diamond cliff for such a lovely stay.

Pros: 1. Staff were fantastic, friendly and super accommodating. They are the reason for the 4 stars. 2. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, even the basic rooms. 3. I love the fruit shop with the free kg a day. 4. The kids club was great, the kids (1 & 3yrs) had a lot of fun. Cons: 1. The hills are not fun. There aren't really shuttles when going up to your villa (if you are staying in one) so that was super annoying. 2. The bed pillows are too big but I got used to them. 3. The shower kind of flickered to burning hot to warm sometimes and the pressure wasn't great. 4. The cleaning staff in general were super friendly and helpful. But I did not appreciate them knocking on my door to leave 6 minutes before the check out time. If we are still in the room after check out that's one thing. But what they did was not cool. I would come back again, but would not want a villa as it was such a hassle getting up there.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful, with a high level of security, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay. The cleanliness of the premises was top-notch, and it was evident that the staff takes great care to maintain a high standard of hygiene. The employees at the resort were not only friendly but also extremely courteous, going out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Their excellent hospitality added a personal touch to the overall experience. Moreover, the pricing was very reasonable, offering great value for the services and facilities provided. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet, which was absolutely delicious. The variety of dishes offered catered to different tastes, and the quality of the food was impressive. I can confidently say that my time at Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa was unforgettable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic and memorable getaway.

Nice family friendly Resort, both pools have bars, the main pool has in pool bar, Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner options at the restaurant as well. Short walk to Patong Beach Has a sushi restaurant at the front, a Tailor and also a fresh fruit shop which can cut and prepare the fruit you choose. Also a shuttle service from the lobby to certain points so it’s closer to your room. In the main lobby there is a desk where you are able to book local tours and trips. Main pool also has a slide for the kids and there is a kids club available. Overall a good experience with a fire show available as well

During my stay at Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa, I had a wonderful experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had been upgraded from a 2-bedroom to a spacious 3-bedroom room, which added to the comfort of my stay. The room was not only generously sized but also well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing environment. The resort boasts two beautiful swimming pools that provide a perfect space to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or needs that arose during my stay. While the resort itself offered a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere, I found that the location was a bit less convenient. Getting around required renting a motorbike or car, as taxi or tuktuk services were necessary to reach most destinations. Despite this, my overall experience at Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa was positive, thanks to the spacious accommodations, pleasant staff, and relaxing amenities.

Beautiful place, the best breakfast buffet most of the staff are fantastic. They REALLY need to change the music its the same on loop would drive anyone mad ! Cleaning Cleaning staff are exceptional and so kind. Pools so clean. Very relaxing place. Could do with a bit more info at check in about where everything is as it's a big place. Will definitely come back. Food really good. Had one not so great meal out of the 2 weeks. Happy customer

What an absolute experience staying here. From the service to the room quality I cannot rate this highly enough. The buffet breakfast was impeccable and made you want to stay for more and it did. I'll be back again and will tell my friends about this place. The rooms were just divine. Large open and comfortable in every way. Well stocked and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. It was just a shame we only had a short visit here.

Pros: Nice and expanded to large area. Ocean view from few rooms Good breakfast Near to patong beach They give 1 kg of fruits as complementary! Cons: Some rooms are having old furniture. They do have student trainees, who do not properly understand English. Over-all, I enjoyed and pros are more to this property.

This hotel has the wow factor. We stayed in room 6302 with fabulous views of the sea and resort. The room has lovely touches - USB sockets - light switches either side of the bed, fluffy slippers, towels and soft dressing gowns. The reception porters are helpful and efficient. There is a staff member to stop traffic on the zebra crossing outside the hotel so don't worry about the busy road, also you can't hear the traffic noise. Breakfast choice was extensive and all food was tasty. We stayed here for 2 nights on a multi resort holiday and this was our favourite hotel.

Great hotel, located centrally in Pa Tong. Friendly and quick service. Great breakfast with a wide variety of options. Easy walk to a 7/11, laundromat, beach and other food stalls on the beach front. The shuttles are extremely convenient as there are many hills and stairs on the hotel grounds. The stairs and incline might be a problem for the elderly or people with limited mobility, just take this into consideration when booking. Overall recommended. Had an amazing and relaxing stay.

Ms. Jittima is one of the unfriendly people we have ever experienced at the hotel reception. She even speaks very aggressively to us as guests after a complaint. I've been to many hotels, but I've never experienced anything like this. We didn't want to talk to this person any further. Unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for our room and only the very nice managerial assistant politely explained to us why and then everything was fine. Jittima didn't want to make the room available to us for 60 minutes longer when we left, even though the hotel wasn't full! When I asked for the management help, she said she wasn't there. The second person at reception said she was there, just in the meeting. The pool and breakfast is good. The rest of the staff was always very friendly. But because of this unfriendly and unprofessional manner, I would not visit the hotel again.

The rooms are large and spacious we got upgraded to a sea view room and the views were amazing. The staff are really polite and helpful the security guard even helps you cross the busy road outside. The hotel is starting to show wear and tear in places but is generally well maintained.

Upon our arrival at the Diamond Cliff Resort on November 25th at 1400 hours, which was our designated check-in time, we were informed by the reception to wait since our room was not yet prepared. We patiently waited for a total of 2 hours, with our infant in the lobby area. Although the staff offered us 2 complimentary drinks as a gesture of goodwill, the overall experience was so bad. It is worth mentioning that even after the 2-hour wait, we had to remind the staff twice about our room request. Furthermore, despite finally being allocated a room, we were subjected to additional waiting time as the housekeeping staff was in the process of preparing the room. We do not recommend this place to others.

Good size rooms, good view, 2 big pools, amazing atmosphere, good staff always smiling. A bit far from bangla Road but there are a lot of tuktuks or motorbikes to drop you. Most of the rooms are reachable by buggy

We loved this hotel. We had requested connecting rooms and when those were water damaged just before we arrived, they upgraded us to a family room which was perfect for us. I really appreciated that level of service. The breakfast was fantastic. Good European and Asian options. The pools were both great also. I lost count of the times the kids went down the water slide. The corner of Patong beach is close by so we often spent evenings there eating food by the beach. No Name restaurant was our favorite because we could watch the kids play on the beach while we sat in the shade.

This hotel has a beautiful property on the side of a cliff facing the ocean. The grounds are beautiful! Accessibility might be an issue as the buildings are terraced up the hill and there are a lot of steps, however there is a shuttle that runs frequently. Pros- 1. beautiful location 2. Large Rooms 3. crossing guard for the busy road out front 4. location is quiet Cons- 1. Could not control the AC much we slept quite hot 2. Bed was very uncomfortable, plus the "king" is two twin beds pushed together so makes it hard if you want to snuggle with your partner as there is literally a gap between the beds 3. there was a large hole in our bedding 4. The hallways are outdoors and it is a tropical environment so I expect bugs but the upkeep of the hallways could be better. There were always bugs in the halls. 5. breakfast was just OK 6. the pool seemed dirty, there was mold on the tiles and the water was cloudy. Nice hotel, but I would choose a different one for my next trip to Patong.

Stayed at many hotels in Phuket over a span of 15 years. This has to be my favourite for now. Beautiful view and great amenities! Superb room service food and friendly staff.. only thing I dislike is the climb everyday to your room... but it's called Diamond Cliff for a reason right.

5 star everything. We had an all-inclusive package and it really did include everything including nice staff, friendly welcome, fantastic rooms amazing facilities, wonderful breakfast........ Everything you could possibly ask for. I have read some of the bad reviews for this place and I have to say the staff we ran into were some of the most helpful and nice people I've ever met. As an example, my wife reported to the cleaner that the plug in the bath was leaking. The cleaner jumped in the bath and tested it and verified the problem and by the time we returned that afternoon it had been replaced. It was a little thing but a great example of how even the little things that frustrate you are fixed immediately. Also just a quick one with the stairs. Yes there are a fair number of stairs, BUT the shuttle will pick you up at various places around the complex and take you where you need to go. My wife is coming up for knee replacements and we had no major challenges. If you can handle a few flights of stairs, this place is no challenge. This is probably the best hotel\resort I have ever stayed at and would come back tomorrow.

I know it’s a 5 star resort was just expecting a little more for what we paid for. Room service was not all included. Had to walk to the bar to get drinks and the walk was pretty far from the rooms to anywhere on site. There are probably better spots for the price so you pay so I would shop around

Our stay at diamond cliff was very nice. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The staff was great and welcoming. The steep hills could definitely be a turn off but the shuttles were running anytime we needed to get up to the room. We usually walked down the hill when wanting to leave. A really quick walk to the beach which was nice and far enough removed from Patong to have it feel more like a resort but close enough a quick grab could get us there in <15 minutes. The ocean view restaurant was okay but a bit pricy for the quality of food we got. Breakfast was a better value with decent options overall including some gluten free options. Overall would recommend this hotel.

Overall, a great property. Fantastic rooms, beautiful surroundings, great hospitality. The breakfast spread is pretty good, staff is very polite and courteous. Both the swimming pools are awesome Slightly far from Patong, but manageable. Needs improvement in its bar- both choice of drinks and skill of staff at the bar. Will stay again for sure

Convenient location for the beach and Patong town center. Service was average and 1 was pretty impatient. However, to be fair for the staff, the hotel was under staffed most of the time we were there too. Room is spacious, however, it was disappointing when you pay for a jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi didn't work for the majority of the time. Overall, we managed to enjoy ourselves with what the nature had to provide! Good holiday.

Great resort with gorgeous sea views and huge pools. Happy hour is twice per day so you can certainly get your money's worth. I loved staying at Diamond cliff. The location is within easy reach of Patong, but just out of reach of the noise. Great breakfasts with a wonderful SPA. I look forward to my next stay.

The hotel is large and well located. There are lovely views from most rooms and especially from the pool and main restaurant. However, the hotel is quite old. They have renovated part of the hotel but there are still quite a few issues. Our room key lock didn't work nor did the room safe. Some of the electrical outlets did not work and the toilet ran incessantly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, it was difficult to get hold of the front desk for help by phone, at times. The main restaurant was understaffed. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Highly recommend! Best hotel I have ever started in! Beautiful rooms stellar views, friendly staff, reasonably priced, delicious breakfast, perfect location, much better than the pictures! The pools were wonderful with the kids, kids club. The whole family loved our time here and we will definitely be coming back next year!

Stayed for a week at Diamond Cliff Hotel in a Premium Sea View Room. Rooms were nice and big with comfy beds. Staff are friendly apart from one very grumpy Breakfast attendant. Downside is breakfast time get very busy with not enough tables some days, but aside from this, nice resort. One note to take, its VERY steep, and requires a shuttle to take you up to your room (if you are higher up)

Well spread out with over the top amenities. A must if you're looking for a relaxing holiday. The pool side have a waterfall like set up with a slide (for all ages) the staff is super helpful and the ocean view rooms offer the best sunsets.

It is amazing place that I never get it. Well service-mind, various food, and fusion style Thai-international. I had stayed in short time but gained a lot of good experiences. Nice people as well. The style in room was gorgeous and enjoy with any amenities in hotel as well.
