Spacious villa perfect for big groups. The rooms encircle the beautiful courtyard and pool making supervising kids easier. Nice treats like free drinks in the rooms and foyer were a nice touch. For breakfast, there was a decent spread of sweet and savoury - we especially loved the freshly made pancakes and french toast! Staff onsite were helpful and unintrusive. Although facilities were clean and reasonably well equipped, the toilets did not accept toilet paper so we had to use waste bins instead (somehow, we got used to it). Kitchenware and utensils could be better laid out. Access to Grab or private transport is essential for travel into town. Overall, it was a nice accomodation. Thank you to the team at Jantra for making our stay memorable.

This Brand and Villa is beyond our expectation. A Big Thank You to everyone at Jantra Residence by Chinocollection for maintaining such a high standard, be it for the cleanliness of the huge villa (spotless in all of their bathrooms and even their wooden decks are without mold or slippery algae. that takes alot of effort to maintain), or for your amazing service, or even for your crews' attention to the little details and anticipating what we will need before we even knew. All the extra services that we have engaged Jantra to arrange for us, are extremely worth it! (We had initially chose to book all the tours by ourselves but we were very thankful we took the plunge to engage the services of Jantra Residence do provide the tours instead). And frankly speaking the price point for everything was very reasonable. Private boat tour to Phi Phi Island. The vendor that Jantra Residence used is extremely thoughtful. Both the Captain and crew are attentive to our needs, tweaking our itinerary accordingly to our preference. 1) they saw we had issue with sea sick, so they proposed to follow behind a bigger ferry so that the wave will be less intense 2) they noticed that we enjoy beaches more than snorkeling, so they offered to bring us to explore more islands with nice beach that's less crowded. In-villa seafood and BBQ dinner We have engaged Jantra Residence to offer a customized in-villa dinner for one of the night. As we had guests who can't have seafood, Jantra Residence crew whipped up a seafood and meat BBQ. The offering was AMAZING, HUGE and delicious! XL size Big Head prawns, 6-7 inch Oysters, Beef & Chicken skewers, and many more. The ambiance dining in the villa is what made the experience so special. Against the backdrop of the perfectly lit up pool and villa, large fans to make none of us sweat even though we were dressed up, and their ever attentive crew making everything so seemless and enjoyable. All the small and little actions above your already superb service has made this trip memoriable and emotional on this final day. Once again, thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Place is beautiful, staff are really good. 7-11 near by, staff helped us book taxi and scooters. Location is very private, however it is in central area not close to beach.

Host Han was quite responsive and helped us with planning our new year family trip for 30. However, we faced many problems throughout the stay. Firstly, Airbnb advertised villa as 14 bedrooms when we booked and upon checking with host, it was changed to 13bedroom + 1 dining room which we are okay with since the villa looked really nice and the location is good. But when we check in, there were only 12 rooms. Configurations were wrong for some rooms despite sending the desired configuration to host Han a few days before arrival (where to have the extra beds). Compromised to minimise problems but rude Thai lady host’s attitude was horrible and was shouting around when they are the ones who made the mistake. One couple had to book separate hotel room because of the shortage of room. Arrogant attitude of lady host definitely spoiled our mood right from the start of the trip! Arranged for 2 cars and 2 vans from airport to villa because we have 2 elderlies in wheelchair who couldn’t climb up the van and this was emphasised to host Han many times but 3 van and 1 car came instead. Was asked to pay 50% deposit about three weeks in advance for the bbq dinner but was told only during the dinner itself that they were unable to get some of the items. Variety was less than promised. Fried rice only came when I showed the staff the food menu agreed when we realised they stopped serving food and it wasn’t enough for everyone, Portion of the fried rice looked like it was for 4 person rather than 20. Ordered 20 portions of seafood bbq with add on 20 portion of skewers for about 25 pax including kids and few elderlies but food was not enough for most. Some feed-backed that seafood were not fresh and the meat were all very dry and hard. And these are all the problems just one day one! Host Han was kind enough to increase the portion for the lunch the next day on complimentary basis. Bedroom was well decorated and quite spacious but there were a lot of spiderwebs and bugs/lizards dead or crawling around in the bedroom and bathrooms. Big and extensive spiderwebs in the rooms, bedside and above bed not cleared even after housekeeping just cleaned up the rooms/ guests checking out just one day before our arrival. Not sure how long the webs have been there. Staff at the villa was unresponsive to our request for items like towels/cups/plates, not sure if they understand English or not. Asked the staff for help to heat up our food and to set up some plates and utensils for our food but they were annoyed and unwilling to help. Didn’t bother to ask staff to help with drainage in the basin and tubs or with hot water after that since they wouldn’t be of any help. Big pool but dangerous with sharp edges that injured many of us with cuts and scratches. Quite deep and might not be suitable for young kids. Blood from the injury stained the bedsheets accidentally and was asked to pay for the cleaning fee. To which, it was settled at the villa itself in cash but we received another claim from host through Airbnb afterwards. Asked for refund for the prebooked ATV and requested to offset additional charges (2,200thb) against the refund of 5,000thb. But the rude lady host threatened to call the police if we do not pay up which we think it’s hostile and unnecessary of her to do so. Itinerary of the last day was messed up because of the check out timing. Checked with Host Han who said we can check out at 5pm subject to villa’s availability/ no guests checking in that day. Two days before arriving, he told us it is not possible and we have to vacate the upper rooms by 12pm, the level 1 rooms by 2pm and let us have 2 rooms for the elderlies till 4pm. Reason given was that they will be charged for housekeeping after 5pm. Plans for the morning were cancelled because it was too rush to meet the 12pm check out time and we waited until 8pm for our flight back to Singapore.

Booked the whole villa, was expected great butler services as it was a family trip. Firstly landed, messed up the whole trip. Booked in advance 2 vehicles & 2 vans. Came with 3 vans & 1 car. We had old people having trouble to climb up a van. We compromised because we didn’t want any more delays. Secondly, when arrived.. News are so bad, on AirBnb shows that it was 14 bedrooms and when we went, there were only 12 bedrooms available to sleep in. Ended up had to share rooms. Thirdly, service crews were plain rude. When asked to heat up our food/sandwiches purchases from convenient stores. Service crew gave a big sigh and rolled their eyes as if we were troubling them. Asked for replenishing of towels when swimming, was said to have insufficient towels as well. I’m not sure how it was supposed to work but I doubt it is supposed to be this way. Last but not least, booked for a total of 20 worth of food. Food was served for maybe 10 pax or less and asked for more food, said there isn’t any more. Worst still, seafood weren’t fresh and had sands in the clams. Gave feedback on the spot but nothing was done. Hospitality service was bad, and rude. Place was so-so. Book at own risk

Villa is nice - located near golf course peaceful- but would not recommend if you dont wanna be greeted with rudeness and bad service. Was our 30 pax family New years holiday… but greeted with so many problems!!! Even though Host han was helpful(e.g helped with QC-ing 1 restaurant for us as we had wheelchair and we needed it to be wheelchair friendly etc) But the thai lady host was extremely rude bad attitude arrogant! Cant seem to talk properly and resort to shouts! Generally, Service staff was constantly pulling a black face or just simply ignoring when we request for simple task (fixing microwave for us, requesting for towels ) One of us was in contact with Host han for at least 1/2 months before our trip! (Preplanned everything etc room configurations , transport / food arrangements) - false info: booked this villa as it was stated on airbnb that it had 14 bedrooms.. but upon check in only had 12 rooms! Which caused 1 couple inconvenienced as they had to book a hotel and stay separately from us. Day1 arrived in phuket: requested for 2 vans & 2 cars (bearing in mind we had 2 wheelchair bound elderlies) but instead they came with 3 vans 1 car……. Room configuration was messed up (bearing in mind we sent the bed arrangements to host few days advance) but we just live with it knowing its their fault yet Thai Lady host was just bloody rude. Bbq Dinner on day1…. Paid about 3weeks in advance.. food variation was lesser than agreed on menu.. portion was small but they gave us more portion the next day to make up for it..chicken skewers were tough like rock. Day2 lunch was ok, thai homecooked dishes. Asked to reheat food as was cold but staff gave a black face and a deep breath sigh showing unwillingness. Asked for pool towels from one of the service staff then she went to the back near kitchen then walk back to the stairs and SAT DOWN on the steps and didnt even bring me the towels…. had to ask again and was told “dont have towel as they have not washed it” -asked tor a refund for ATV($5k) so we told them to offset some bills we needed to pay (like cleaning fees for sheets covers and towels we dirties and transport) then return us the balance (they only agreed to transfer us the balance only the day after our checkout as Atv is shut on sundays!) lady host threaten to call the police if we did not pay up. -swimming pool: deep and dangerous lots of rough and sharp edges.. few of us had scratches and injuries, which accidentally stained sheets with blood but paid for cleaning fee. -bedroom were nicely decorated modern thai style but there were some room filled with webs and insects bodies in toilets.. Hot water wasn't working consistently and floods in some bathrooms. - housekeeping = just making bed, folding our wet towels as if it was clean fresh towels.. didn’t clear the bin. - some bed were super shaky and each time u toss and turn in your sleep the bed moves and disconnect from the other single bed. Wheels Not securely locked and cant be locked.. - no proper charging points for us.. some switch were not properly fixed，it was loosely hanging out.. All in all, too many problems faced. Bad service would 100% not recommend. Sad as villa is nice. So book at your own risk.. btw the host said to us that we are causing them financial losses because we reviewed them badly

The villa was beautiful, however the butler service was horrible. Before we confirm the booking with Host Han, we checked with him if the villa can accommodate 26 pax and he said there will be 14 bedrooms available for all of us. So we proceeded with the booking. We also requested for the host to arrange transport for us as we have elderly and babies so we asked for 2 cars and 2 vans to pick us from the Airport to the Villa. We waited closed to an hour for our transport and when the transport came, it’s 1 car and 1 van which couldn’t accommodate all of us. We have elderly with us so it’s very troublesome for them to climb up the van with steps that’s why we requested for a car but what we received from the in charge was either we wait for the car which they are unsure of when will be the next available car or we just take the van. So in order to not have anymore delay, we decided to just take what was given. Reached the villa and found out that there’s only 12 bedrooms available which gave us a headache as we have to rearrange our arrangement. Afterwards, we went to the pool and requested for extra pool towel and they said they have not washed them yet. Food wasn’t enough for all of us and we had to go to the convenience store to get more food, requested for the butler to help us with the heating up of food as they removed the microwave but received a horrible service, the butler rolled her eyes and went to the back of the villa to hide. Lunch and dinner provided was cold and stale, asked to reheat the food, the butler was rude and rolled her eyes, worse of all, they didn’t came back with the food that we requested to reheat. If the pool towel isn’t available for such a big group, if the butler service is so horrible then what’s the point of having such a big villa and so limited butlers to service us when their attitude is horrendous. Asked to clean the room and replenish the towel, came back to folded wet and used towels on the bed. Really disappointed with the service. Book at your own risk.

Toilet has a bath tub which was a little high so just gotta be very careful when coming down from it. Housekeeper made the bed but did not replace the used towels and dustbin were still full w rubbish. Swimming pool is big but also deep w some sharp edges. Not recommended for children. Dinner on the first night was disappointing. Meat were hard and seafood wasn’t fresh. Food wasn’t enough. Lunch on the second night was fantastic! Very nice and authentic Thai food. Host top up w complimentary items after our feedback on first night. Rooms were different from the Airbnb website where 2 rooms became 1 for some. Feedback to the lady host and we were shown with rude attitude. Nevertheless, Joe and Pla were very friendly and professional Location is quiet and serene. It is also very near a golf course.

Great hotel - clean and excellent staff. Breakfast was good too! Very tranquil and quiet. I’d recommend requesting for a room with the golf view instead of pool view, because you’ll be in the back where the kitchen is and trees (in the evening there’s some sort of loud bug or animal).

We were a group of 16, booking out the entire villa for our 4D3N retreat. Han and his team were incredible & patient hosts for accommodating our many requests from checking on go-karting/island hopping activities, to arranging BBQ for us. The villa is exactly as the pictures depicted with large spacious rooms and ensuite bathrooms. To our huge surprise and enjoyment, they provided us with complimentary drinks in the fridge. The pool even had 2 huge floats and a number of plastic balls to have fun with. Though we were a bit bummed that Netflix wasn't available in each room as the Apple TV wasn't working right, the entertainment room was working fine and we got to catch Netflix films together. Now for the food: we ordered in BBQ for the night of our arrival and the BBQ was fantastic, with generous amounts of delicious food that were exactly to our tastes. We definitely recommend the tom yum kung when making your BBQ selection. As a value-add to our BBQ, they provided us a bluetooth speaker to let us play our own selection of music. The staff never failed to greet us with smiles, and they were very professional and respectful when attending to us. Joe, as the main receptionist and liaison, was very kind and easy to reach out to. In terms of convenience, the villa is well-located in the centre of Phuket. Though it seems isolated on the map (as it's near the country club), it's not difficult to get a Grab driver. It takes about 20mins to Patong/Phuket Town/Rawai. If you're self-driving, do drive with care at night as the roads tend to get dark. Overall, we'd love to stay with Han again if we had the opportunity to do so, and we highly recommend you stay here if you're looking for a space for a large group of people. Thanks Han & team :)

My wife and I stayed at Jantra during our honeymoon a while back and we really enjoyed the hotel and our stay. The owner and all the staff were very nice, professional and very welcoming to us during our stay. We were placed in a nice suite which overlooked the pool, and everything was practically amazing. Breakfast was included in our stay, which was both Thai and International food of our choosing, in which it was an abundant amount of food every time. While we did spend most of our time outside the hotel, going to different landmarks and attractions, we always noticed that when we left or came back to the hotel it was always safe and clean and had no trouble with any of the amenities. At night, Jantra residence looked very nice with all the lights they have at their hotel, and it is located close to practically a decent amount of tourist landmarks and local places such as shops and restaurants as well. There were always staff available to accommodate our requests. One of the best services that was offered by the hotel was car service, in which one of the staff members, I believe his name was Joe, drove us around anywhere we wanted. He knew all the places around Phuket such as all the tourist spots and most of the local places such as markets and shops. I would definitely come back to Phuket and stay at Jantra Residence for a much longer time!

What a high-end and historical resort! Phuket used to be a bastion of traders from around the world, including the Portuguese, Dutch, French, Siamese, Burmese, and Chinese. Chino Collection brings back that old world charm with classic suites using a mix of influences from the old traders. While the predominant theme is Chinese, you can spot the other cultures in their fitting, furnishings and even in the food served in the Empress Teahouse (part of the resort). The service is excellent (hard to go wrong serving only 8 suites) and the ambience is one of old world granduer and serenity. If you are in Phuket, but want to get away from the maddening crowds, Chino Collection could be your paradise.

Extremely friendly staff who made us feel so comfortable when we arrived, a much smaller scale hotel compared to some of the resorts in Phuket which was exactly what we needed, gave us the authentic intimate feel that we do not get at bigger resorts. Spoke directly with the owner multiple times he is a lovely gentleman who wanted to ensure our stay here was as pleasant as possible and let me tell you it was! I will highly recommend this place to all my family and friends and to anybody reading this review believe me if you want to be looked after this is the place to be! Many thanks to the owner and staff for such an amazing experience, very serene environment with the infinity pool at arms reach from our room and a 5 minute walk to the local fresh food markets, as well as having their own restaurant downstairs you can also walk 200m down the road for a variety of restaurants. Expectations were absolutely blown away which was why I had to come write this review! Highly recommended 10/10 service ♡

This is the first time that I have visited Phuket and I decided to stay at Chinoiserie located at the foothills yet 5-10 minutes walk to Nai Harn beach. This place is very peaceful, lovely staff and the owner (Dear) were very friendly and helpful! 5 star service! The resort is incredible with a beautiful and unique design. It is luxurious but still feels like home and has a great atmosphere. The food is very delicious as well and I love the coffee that the owner has brewed with her own recipe, personally roasted until the coffee has a mellow flavor, not too bitter a must have for anyone who visits! I would love to go back and stay at Chinoiserie again and again whenever I have a chance to come to Phuket. Thank you for taking such a good care of us!

This place is incredible! You feel like you are stepping back in time but without compromising any luxury! We stopped by today to just get a 60 min massage as a part of our car trip tour to the southern part of the island. We were greeted warmly by the Guest Relations Manager, Mary who offered us a beautiful local flower drink upon arrival and who took the time to give us a tour of the facilities. She prepared the steam room and sauna for us and was very attentive. The facilities were in an open area which I really appreciated so I could enjoy them together with my fiancé. So often the saunas are separate for the genders, so this was a nice treat, and super romantic! I enjoyed a traditional massage. It was as expected.

Stayed at the Chinoiserie for 3 days with my girlfriend and we were blown away by the experience. The photos on the internet did not disappoint, and I think it looks even better in real life. The Resort is absolutely gorgeous - the vintage theme was both elegant and modern. The suites were very spacious and thoughtfully designed - perfect for lazing about. We were also really fascinated by the salt water chlorinated pool which made swimming a totally different experience. We enjoyed the spa as well. Simple menu, but the treatments were first-class. The therapists knew what they were doing and I felt very refreshed after. Overall a great experience. It seems like each suite is different, and I am tempted to check out the other suites the next time I return to Phuket. (P.S. Try the coffee as well! The beans are roasted in Phuket from a global mix. I tried it out of curiosity, and was not disappointed at all. No sugar needed.)

The Chinoiserie Collection Resort and Spa is one of the best resorts I have stayed at across the globe. The staff are absolutely amazing, they are so genuinely lovely and caring and are willing to accomodate any requests you may have!! We booked a day tour and were due to checkout during that day and they held our luggage and prepared a breakfast box for us! The facilities are absolutely stunning. The serenity and exclusivity just made the experience so luxurious and relaxing. We got a free upgrade and my god it was stunning. Our room opened onto the pool and the view was breathtaking. There are lots of places to eat around the area within a 5 minute walk and the beach is so close! The owners were so helpful even offering to take us to some beautiful sunset locations. I can not recommend this resort enough! If you ever get the chance to stay in Phuket, this should definitely be your first choice. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much!!

Absolutely loved our stay !!! From the moment we checked in we felt like we had been transported to an exclusive serene spot. The breakfast is also top notch. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return !! A big thanks to Joe and the staff for helping make our vacation extra special !!!

friendly staff and amazing villa. rooms were cleaned spotless each day and the location is nice and quiet on a golf course. will need a scooter/taxi to get out of the golf complex but was no issue. staff were able to accommodate an earlier breakfast for us one morning at late notice which was great, and they even took us to a nearby 7/11 free of charge when we arrived to collect some groceries.

We had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at Jantra Residence with family and friends to celebrate our wedding. The villa has stunning views of the Phuket Country Club and is a short car ride to Phuket Central Mall. The rooms were beautiful with possibly the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. When planning our wedding, Dea had excellent communication and nailed my vision. I struggled to find a good nail salon for my bridal nails as everywhere I went in Patong was below average. Pla arranged a visit to Polysh, owned by Chinocollection. The nails are the most beautiful I've ever had and we joked about making fortnightly trips from New Zealand just to get our nails touched up by the staff at Polysh. The wedding itself was completely carefree. There was nothing for me to do or worry about except getting into my dress. The wedding, food and service was truly magic. We most certainly will be back in the future and cannot recommend Jantra Residence enough. Thank you to Han, Dea and Pla for a memorable stay.

Amazing place and space with a great view of the golf course. Staff are extremely friendly with great service in food and cleaning the rooms each day. Must do for a big group, well worth the money.
