Not great unfortunately. Customer service is not a strong point. Room was okay, a little dated and there was no tub in the bathroom as described. The jacuzzi appeared clean, but after trying to fill it up twice, all that came out was brown water. The views are good, especially from the pool deck. Location is okay, very close to the beach but a far walk from the busy parts of patong. Breakfast was decent and unlike other hotels, at least they changed it up day to day. More akin to a US 3 star hotel. If you get a good deal, then book it, but i wouldn't pay 4 star prices.

Great room, pool, and views! The bed was super comfy, room was very large, and multiple types of pillows. Watching the sunset from the pool is an absolute must. Very close to the beach and far enough away from bangla road to be quiet.

The hotel is overpriced for what it is worth. It should not be rated with more than 2 stars. It is very deceptive and looks nothing like the pictures or promotional videos. Rude front desk and staff. The rooms are old and the bathrooms have a sewage smell. There is a lot of noise because the rooms are next to each other. Breakfast Buffet was worst. You will not get such kind of food anywhere! This hotel is terrible on all aspects. For this kind of hotel, they take deposit LOL!!! The only thing we liked about this hotel was leaving it.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, with great front desk, room service and house keeping staff. Literally steps away from Patong Beach, where you can enjoy a nice swim, drink or massage on the beach. The hotel has a decent gym and a rooftop swimming pool on the 7th floor, and a good restaurant on the ground floor left of the reception area, with good food and drinks menu at very competitive pricing, to be fair. The room comes with breakfast and daily cleaning, as you'd expect from a professional hotel business; the breakfast was very decent, with omelet station, salads, the usual breakfast food and drink items to choose from. Tons of restaurants, bars, cafes, local food stalls, currency exchanges, etc... just off the main beach road, minutes away....5 minute drive to Bangla Road in case you are keen. I recommend this place, and just extended my stay for a whole month.

We stayed at the executive suite with a jacuzzi tub on the second floor. The outside looks very nice. However, we had to switch rooms twice. The first time, the room had cigarette smell even though it’s a non-smoking room. When we complained, they brought a scented candle and some spray to get rid of the smell. It was alright but I expected them to offer us to switch rooms. I asked to switch rooms and they let us. The second one had water dripping from the AC and the floor was dirty, so we switched to the third. It was good though some stuff in the room, like the beach towels and some decorations, are a little worn down. The most disappointing part was the tub. The water filled up very very slowly. They didn’t have a tub faucet so the water only comes out of shower head, which couldn’t be adjusted even though it looks like there are different holes and should have different settings. We ran the water for like 2 hours + and it still wasn’t a third full. We gave up at the end and couldn’t use the tub which was the main reason why we chose this room.

Very nice, if not a 5 Star, hotel in Patong. Location: Very close (100m) to the beach which isn't all the easy to find in Patong. Plus there's chairs, umbrellas and a bar right where you cross the road to get on the beach. It's far enough away from the really chaotic Bangla / OTOP areas that you really feel like you're at the beach but it's still close enough to walk down the beach (or a 200 baht taxi) where the action is. Room: I had a 1BR suite. It was large by any hotel standards. Had two small balconies which are nice even if they dont have water or particularly great views. Rooftop Pool: The nicest feature, an infinity pool with great 360 view of Patong Bay and the surrounding mountains. Plenty of seating with food & drinks available. Amenities: There's a restaurant, bar & room service. The food was good not great but it's a large menu trying to cater to all the tastes of a very diverse group of guests so always hard to do that much really well. The breakfast was very good - I'm not sure why some reviewers complain?? There's anything you could possibly want & the quality was good plus it runs from 6:30 - 10:30. Staff: Overall, they're excellent. They addressed a couple of minor issues graciously & efficiently. The housekeeping staff was great. Jar, in particular, took incredibly good care of me during my 4 week stay. The only issue that kept me from giving 5 stars? The property could be a little better maintained and needs some updating. That said, Patong got hammered by Covid so it could be they didn't have the money coming in over the last few years to keep the place pristine. IMO, a minor refresh, makes the Charm just short of a true luxury resort rather than a sold 4 star hotel. I really enjoyed all aspects of my stay and would highly recommend.

Loving this hotel. Pros: Very clean. Rooms have a half kitchenette with an apartment sized fridge with freezer. Balcony is nice. Staff is very accommodating and kind. Comfortable beds and pillows. Beautiful view from the rooftop pool. Restaurant prices have competitive prices and has a happy hour. Food is good too. Breakfast buffet is bomb, equipped with an egg station that also provides bacon and a coffee machine for cappuccinos and lattes. Nice gym. Close to the beach. Quiet. Cons: Odd smells in different parts of the hotel. Way too potent of a perfume scent in the rooms and hallways that we needed to air out on our arrival. The fridge makes a loud humming noise but you can unplug it to eliminate the sound. If you hang out at the pool for too long, you may hear the same album on repeat. Overall a great spot and I would definitely come back here. I highly recommend!

This is a great place and comes at a reasonable price point. The room was large, the bed comfy. My room had a shaded balcony and was reasonably quiet. Slippers, robe, safe and umbrellas were provided. The restaurant and bars are very reasonable. What could be improved is breakfast. It was crowded and trays ran out frequently. The coffee was just the instant kind. For the money, this is a solid choice in a great location.

Pros- 1) location is good. 2 mins to the walk to the beach. 2) Pool and fitness center is good. 3) Rooms are good in size. I stayed in Executive Suite for 4 Nights. 4) Break fast is decent. Most the things are same everyday. Cons - 1) Housekeeping is very very lousy. You need to chase them to get your room cleaned. They won't change linen and towels until told. 2) Tours and bike rent is expensive on the stall just at the gate of hotel. So better get both from othe vendors in Patong.

It's a nice hotel. Definitely the strong point is the location, which is almost in front of the beach. Breakfast is very good with many options, the room is large so I was satisfied. What is missing from the hotel is the 'character'. I mean, the reception team should be 'closer' to the customer. One of my business in Greece is Hotel industry/Hospitality. Hospitality is defined as taking care of your guests and anticipating their needs. With all due respect I did not experience that at all.

I stayed in a room with direct access to the pool. Which is very nice when you just like to take a quick dip. There is a rooftop pool with bar and the view is amazing up there. Breakfast have Thai, Indian, European food and more. If I have something negative to say is that there is no proper coffeeatation. At least I didn’t find any. Just a machine with just that, machine coffee. Perfectly placed with just 2 min walk to the beach and close enough to the nightlife.

This place has an incredible pool that overlooks the ocean with a great Happy Hour. I was traveling with a friend and we sprung for the 2 bedroom suite with the spa tub and it was a very cool, modern room. It’s a bit of a walk to get to the nightlife from there, but well worth it.

Large rooms, near the beach and that's it. The room was not that clean and the furniture was kinda old and tainted. Bathroom also other story..old and was a problem with hot water, was working for a minute and then you have to turn it off and back again to be warm again. Pool was nasty, you can see an oily mambrane on the surface. The reception area and the ladies there not that attentive-they understand basic English and that's it. Breakfast was ok and also they have a menu a la cart if you want to try lunch or dinner. Internet very bad, working in waves- had a bad experience trying to work from there- constantly I had to make a hotspot on my phone to be able to go in a meeting call.

Mr. Aleksandr B stayed in room 4318. Stayed for two weeks. There was a housekeeper named Kluay who looked after my room and kept it full with tea, coffee, bed and bathroom every day. It was excellent. I recommend everyone to use the room service that has a price. Reasonable with The Charm Patong

It has a great location however, staff don't understand your needs as most don't speak English. If they do, you can't understand them. Extremely frustrating. Rooms are large, neat but extremely DIRTY... They do not wash anything in kitchen or bathrooms, just wipe it dry. You can still see grease. Shower clogs up with water ankle deep. Asked them to plug and clean, but are insistent its normal. Room constantly Snell's of sewerage. I complained about the horrid smell as I'm recovering from operation and staying 20 days here. Instead they put a candle essence in bathroom??? Sauna out of action. Pictures look glamorous advertised but not as it seems. Its Old, needs renovating. Falsely advertised that it was newly renovated.... Staff are rude and only few are helpful! They do not know how to win guests over. For a westerner, I would consider hygiene here, in the hotel compromised terribly. No bathrobes ARE provided. They do not change bedsheets daily, only if you ask. They just do your bed up and fold toilet paper. I wouldn't come back here as it constantly Smell's of manuer.

The room was nice, property is at good location but the staff is very rude. They treat you really badly. They ask for your credit card and take a copy of it with CVV or deposit 1000 TBH. When you enter room they have a price card in the room which I have never seen in any of the hotel in any country I have visited. Rate card means if they find spoon missing 60 then they will charge you. One advice when ypu enter the room make a video of it with what all things ypu have and even when you leave so that no issues may came later. When I checked in few things where missing we immediately called the reception and asked for it. Even recorded a video of my husband calling. Front desk miss treat people. Otherwise property is fine the rooms in which I stayed was nice.

I stayed at The Charm Resort for my vacation, I was concerned at the beginning did I make the right decision. But soon as I arrived I know I am happy, Staffs very helpful and polite, rooms are clean, facilities are ok with fitness gym and sauna, rooftop swimming pool. Breakfast could have more choices as I only eat 2 times during my stay. Location is good I like away from the Bangla road it's too crowded, if I have to go just 10 minutes walk which is okay for me as I travel alone. Also I it's only 3 minutes away from the beach everyday I can enjoy the seaside. Price very competitive, decent location, helpful staff, highly recommended.

10 minute walk to Bangla Rd. Junior pool villa suite had plenty of room and having access to your own pool was great. Nice and quite location with good restaurants close by. Good selection of food for breakfast. Staff attentive and engaging. Would definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful hotel with grand guest suites and multiple facilities, including a restaurant, rooftop infinity pool with bar, a gym and daily/weekly activities. The breakfast array is vast, with something to cater to everyone's tastes. The staff is friendly and helpful with any queries. We stayed in a family suite and the area was extensive. The entire first floor is taken up by a super king size bed, desk, storage areas, shower room and terrace with jacuzzi spa. There are basic kitchen facilities available, a second bedroom with balcony, living area with TV and balcony, and a table and chairs. I rated the room 3 stars because the rooms appear to be showing their age somewhat. There were a couple of cracked or uneven tiles, the air conditioning units dripped when turned on, the upstairs terrace appeared shabby around the edges, and the main complaint - which I guess cannot be attended to by the hotel - was the neighbouring land having daily tree stump fires, coating everything in thick smoke and making the whole building wreak of smoke - beware if in building 4. Overall, I cannot and did not complain because the experience was overwhelmingly enjoyable and the location was exactly where we wanted to be with all our needs catered for.

Dear CHARM Hotel Resort Team, I hope this message finds you well. I recently had the pleasure of staying at your beautiful resort in Phuket, and I wanted to share my feedback on my experience. First and foremost, I must say that my overall stay at THE CHARM Resort was quite enjoyable. The serene ambiance, impeccable room service, and stunning views made it a memorable trip. The resort’s amenities, cleanliness, and the friendly attitude of the majority of the staff certainly deserved a 5-star rating. However, I was compelled to adjust my review to 4 stars due to an unfortunate incident that occurred during my stay. On the day of our check-out, as I was refilling my water bottle in the breakfast area, I encountered an unpleasant encounter with one of your staff members. The lady in question addressed me in a rather impolite manner, simply saying, “Oh sorry, you cannot refill this,” with a tone that left much to be desired in terms of hospitality. This encounter was disheartening, as it tarnished an otherwise exceptional experience. I believe it’s essential for every guest to feel welcome and respected throughout their stay, even during small interactions like this one. I sincerely hope that this message can serve as constructive feedback and encourage a more patient and kind approach from all staff members, ensuring that every guest leaves with only the fondest memories of your resort. In conclusion, I want to reiterate that my stay at THE CHARM Resort was, overall, a delightful one. With a bit of improvement in guest interactions, I have no doubt that it can consistently earn 5-star reviews from guests like me.

We had taken the family suite and it worked perfectly for us. The location of the property is fantastic and service was impeccable . The sunset views from the rooftop infinity pool are totally worth it.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, and they gave us a free room upgrade! Rooms very clean, and balcony was great for drying towels. And even though the hotel is on busy Patong Beach, it is down a quiet side street and you dont hear the noise at night.

Good location, close to the beach. About 15 minute walk from Bangla road, so it’s quiet in the evening. The rooms are ok but a bit dated. The power tripped several times one night but the maintenance people came even at 2am to fix it. Pool is small but had nice view.

Stayed for a week in family duplex, room 4626. Brilliant! Very clean, rooms cleaned daily. Room close to skybar so very convenient. Breakfast had lots of choice and was fine too. Great happy hours! Location great in the quieter end of town but still very accessible. Would recommend!

We stayed at the family one bedroom which come with a juccuzi. The room is huge and it’s great that they have living/ dining room upstairs and bedroom at lower story. The resort is awesome, they have a beautiful pool overlooking the sea. The breakfast area is at the different building from our room. We are luckily that it didn’t rain during the morning, otherwise, you will need to bring an umbrella along to get from your room to the breakfast / resort lobby. The counter staff is friendly and speaks good English. Their service is very fast, they come within 10 mins when I requested for something. The only area of improvement will be their housekeeping. They are not consistent in their housekeeping, there are days they didn’t give enough towels for everyone, also did not replenish the shower cap and coffee. I suggest you bring along your own shampoo and conditioner, as the one provided by the resort is not good.

Very good price £29 for quiet spot just off the busy beach area front. Large room spotless clean very friendly and efficient. King prawn linguine, two diet Coke and fresh squeezed water melon juice on the roof top cost me £8 after 20% discount. Can you get a better deal any where else?

Pool access room suite was great but very noisy next to road and resteraunt. Staff were very friendly. VERY VERY good street food vendor to the right of the hotel 50m toward roundabout. They also sell shakes. We ate there almost all the time. Rooftop pool is hot as phuck. Needs more shade and fans. Very exposed

The Charm Resort is located across the road from the beach on the Northern end of Patong This is a modern Hotel complex and the rooms are a good size and they provide bathrobes, cotton Buds and free water. They do not provide Dental kits and they provide second hand used slippers which is rather freal and disgusting. There is an LCD TV with a fairly poor selection of channels. From Channel 15 to 30 some don't work at all and all of the rest are like watching through a snowstorm as the reception is very poor. The beds and pillows are quite comfortable and there is a desk with a chair a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. The rooms have a mid-sized fridge and freezer which is great as you can store things keep them cold or keep frozen products if you require. The bathroom is a good size however unfortunately the shower only has average water pressure. In the building to the rear there is a rooftop swimming pool and Sun lounges, umbrellas and a pool bar where you can order food and drinks while sitting on the sun lounges or while in.the pool at the swim up bar were you can also order a drink. The views from the pool overlook the Bay Area and quite often provide beautiful views of colorful sunsets. I would recommend this place to anybody

My overall stay in this hotel was amazing. The staff are polite and ready to help nature. I love the way they have organized it. I had booked room with pool . Everything is the room was in working condition and I would like to recommend other to stay and experience the stay. Walking distance to Patong beach and Bangla street. There are many eatery joints in and around the area .

Good for families. Close to beach. Not convenient to night time attractions. Their effort to support the ecosystem resulted in very little hot water. When coming here be prepared to give up some conveniences. Staff is very helpful and the pool is excellent.

  • 4/5 Kevin P. 10 months ago on Google
The location is excellent, right opposite a quieter part of Patong beach. The gym is rubbish, but the rooms and service are okay, but do not waste your time eating dinner at the hotel. You will be disappointed as the food is not good. They are at much better places to eat a short walk up the road and cheaper too.

  • 4/5 Darpan K. 1 year ago on Google
Pros Very near to beach Good service Nice breakfast options wrt price Very big rooms Nice infinity swimming pool Reasonable food charges Cons The Indian break fast can not be eaten by Indians. Recommendation to hotel is to please check the wastage on Indian breakfast and if the wastage is high. Just stop it. The hotel seems very possessive on its disposable sleepers. Generally in any hotel disposable slippers are consummable which is counter intuitive here. At check out they asked me multiple times about one pair of disposable slippers missing ( which later i came to know my son left at swimming pool since he was wet) . The hotel may boldly mention it in instructions that disposable slippers are not consummable, as this is not the norm across the world.

One of the best hotels in Phuket. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff behavior is good. View from the rooftop is mesmerizing. Very close to beach and streets. N.B. Elevators have very bad rotten food smells. Management should install automatic air freshener or look into this problem.

  • 4/5 Diana M. 1 year ago on Google
The location is amazing. Some staff is grumpy for no reason. Rooms need renovation. TV inside the room is not a smart one, picture quality is horrible as the TV is so old. Some things inside the room did not make sense. For example, in the suit the kichen is not equipped with anything (cutlery, plates). The bed had socket only from one side. The other person will have to charge the phone somewhere else. The sofa was quite dirty. However, upon request was covered with a bed sheet. The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed daily as well.

Stayed 7 nights and was very pleased. The hotel location is great, very close to the beach, 10-15 min from Bangala Rd. Hotel room was fantastic, service was very good- everyone are extremely nice and helpful. I enjoyed the pool on the 7th floor as it was was very convenient. Breakfast was good. Overall I was very happy with the hotel. Highly recommended 👌

Room was great, clean and spacious with everything you need. Breakfast buffet good. Only issue I had was paid extra for a spa room, the spa is not filled with water which is understandable for hygiene reasons but it takes about 3-4 hours to fill so you need to plan ahead and then the cleaners empty it the next day.

First you need to know that the check in is just 3pm !!! No chance before, I was guest in this hotel 3 times and really the check in is just 3 pm. The location is very good, the staff is very friendly, service and food is good, like the breakfast with salad and fruits , to me is perfect but if you like cakes and different bread, no way, but still they have some food options too, but artificial juice, anyway is ok, but to a hotel resort spa, maybe some options with fresh juice will be good, needs to pay attention that the hotel price is not so expensive, not a 5 star hotel, so everything it was good! Anyway I like the little hotel, just 5 minutes from the patong beach in Phuket, Thailand.
