BEWARE that they did not fully disclose their price on the listing! Room rate is for 2 people. But they claim those two people must check in together. If you meet a "guest" and bring her to the hotel, they charge additional 500 THB (each time you bring a guest). I paid 800 BHT for the room, now they want an additional 500BHT every time I bring a guest! Not ethical to apply such a huge charge that was not disclosed in the rate. I do not do business with companies that do not observe ethical business behavior, and I recommend you do not either!

Lobby ís nice and spacious, bus can drivimg in. Quick check in. Rest rooms are very ok. Breakfast dining hall is spacious. Breakfast is just ok and clean, nothing to impress guests. Food is so so but barely get mt 4 stars. I am an easy reviewer. 15 minutes walk to Patong Beach. A few minutes to massage and shops.

Where do I start? Firstly taken to a separate building that looked 1 -2 star. It felt like being taken to a prison cell. We then complained and said we wanted a refund. They refused and said they would give a room upgrade. We were then taken to a room right in front of otop bars! It was so loud and disturbing. We complained again and was moved to another section which was quiter. The room was very dark and the Aircon didn't cool the room. We stayed one night and paid to stay elsewhere and wore the cost of no refund from this place.

Way over priced at 2,000 bht. TV opposite of 4k. All snow. Can barley see picture. Local stations only. Lost electricity; no AC. Pool is nice but so are many others. Update: The front desk sent someone to fix picture but no luck. So we looked at other rooms and two doors away the TV is clear. We moved to 5504 I guess I should have checked the volume because it does not work. Also, the phone does not work.

Absolutely love Baumanburi Resort in Patong Beach Phuket. Located opposite the Merlin Hotel allowing quick and easy walk through to access beach, street food market runs one side perimeter of the resort and leads to Otop bars and markets offering everything you could need. Tuk—tuks, or vans and bookings for day trips etc can all be made at the resort reception. Staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, some are very fluent in English language having lived in Australia and helpful if you find yourself in any emergency situation. Resort prices are much better than you will find outside of the resort so recommend making the most of dinning and bar options at the resort. Swim up bar and fun, friendly bar staff to serve your cocktails, beers etc while you relax in the vast lagoon style pool. Some rooms have direct access to the pool from the rooms. All internal facing rooms on upper levels have balcony views of pool. Dinning area accessible to pool also with views. Resort spa with multiple massage tables and staff available for even more relaxation. Gym on upper level, plenty of bathroom facilities located around the pool and dinning areas. Well presented clean and comfortable air conditioned rooms controlled from within the room. Bath and shower in beautifully presented bathrooms, closets, room safe, small tv, comfortable beds, adjoins rooms available for family’s, sitting area indoors and balcony for rooms above ground level. Staff are amazing, friendly and extremely helpful.

An old hotel a short walk from all the action in Patong beach. Definitely showing its age, in desperate need of a refit and a coat of paint. Swimming pool nice and the pool bar is entertaining. The airconditioning in the rooms sounds like a 747 about to take off, even on the lowest fan. It leaves the choice of not sleeping or sweating your way through the night.

Good location. Hotel is a bit out of date but clean. Beds were pretty hard. Pool is great!

Baumanburi is very good!!! We come each time every 3 to 4 months and not have a problem!! Faces are regular develop a good bond!! Bar pool excellent!! Friendly staff. Siisti hiukan kulunut mutta kaikki kunnossa. Palvelu tosi ystävällistä. Aamupalalla paljon vaihtoehtoja. Kaikki tarvittava löytyy läheltä. Jäi oikein hyvä fiilis. Käytiin syömassa I-Kroon Cafe,ja Doo Dee Thai Food (halpa ja hyvä),aivan upea näköala No.6 Restaurant Up The Hill.Ruoka oli todalla hyvää👍

Rooms are ok,service does not match other hotels of their category staff is reluctant to fill up crossiant and donuts in Breakfast plus they started to pack up even before 10:30 finishing time.Pool is an absolute quality of the hotel which is the main attraction for customers.

We stayed here in a pool access room just over a week ago for 10 nights Very disserpointed as the Nackara sliding door feel off 10 minutes after check in. Our room was not clean Very well at all or like I remember from oter Years, yes room smelt stale & agesd The pool is beautiful but the whole hotel definitely needs so.e tender love & care We had a great time otherwise. Not stayed here in the last 2 yrs . Last time I stopped here it was a great hotel. Friendly staffing really great pool to relax around . Not far from beach about 5 mins walk . 10 mins to Bangla road bars a night here is not to bd forgotten

We booked this hotel a month ago through Agoda ,think 3days before our travel they cancelled our booking stating its full , Agoda suggested other resort just ok to stay with worst hospitality .finally its a mess

This resort is absolutely beautiful. The swimming pool being the cherry on cake! The staff here is so friendly and cooperative. The try to help their guests in every possible way! Really loved their hospitality. The breakfast was also good. Vegetarian options available in the menu. The rooms are also very huge and beautifully decorated.

Great rooms. Spacious rooms. Prime location. 5mins walking distance to the beach. 6mins walking distance to the Bangla road.

Great place. It's near 7eleven and coastline. Good pool and tai massage. The negative side is poor breakfast menu diversity (it's nice, but after a week living there, you would hate every dish). Cosy and pretty place! P.s.: poolbar is cool

Just opened after refurbishment . Staff very helpful and attentive. Rooms spacious and plenty of storage. Two very good sized firm beds and window bay seating as well. Bathroom has both large conical shower and a separate bath. Great pool area in centre of hotel complex. Would be happy to recommend and visit again .

Nice hotel , a bit old style , but rooms are nice , comfy , clean and you have a nice view to the pool. Fitness room is clearly outdated. One big issue is the side of your room. The door of my room was on the clubs side , at night , the music and bass are loud , you can hear almost everything. Unfortunately, the door is not well sound isolated, and the corridor going to your room is open. You might need to check that when arriving at the hotel .

First room had no balcony even though I emailed 4 months before arrival asking if there was on and was told yes. Our toilet was blocked for 24 hours, three times we reported it. Got moved to a room with a balcony which was much better. Pool was ok Breakfast was awful. Toast was ok. Veggie option was baked beans and cold mashed potatoes. Eggs were fried and placed on a tray where they congealed and were cold. Salad was a joke nothing there, asked for it to be topped up nothing happened. Much better hotels in the area, would NOT recommend

Ageing resort but still retains Thai charm.. Rooms are larger than more modern equivalents and everything works.. Housekeeping and other staff are friendly and accommodating. The pool area is a great place to hang out. Price reflects the age of the place. I'd stay there again. Bars out back can be mildly noisy and entertaining too

Everything was very good. I know there were better rooms than we were allocated and although our room was very comfortable we were distributed a few times through noisy traffic from the road close by

It was my first day in Thailand and we booked the Superior room which was in isolated building which feels like you are not staying in this hotel but outside. I might get a better deal with the same amount in other hotels.

I love the swimming pool surrounded with trees and plants. Walking distance to the beach. Beautiful room. It was my first time out of my country. Wonderful experience.

Everything is good. Location is strategic just nearby hardrock cafe, 7e, patong beach and others. Only less satisfied with iron and hair dryer. Hair dryer is broken and iron is not enough to be provided. Toothpaste also jot provided.

Great location north end 2nd road of Patong, an older hotel. Receptionist lovely and does escort you to your room, a man who was hosing the driveway after the flood helped me park and greeted me when I returned after dinner which was pleasant. Hotel is noisy from other guests who had a coach transfer out at 6am. The room was clean solid, AC worked really well. Yes old style keys and my room had an interal view. However for what I paid, this room suited my needs. I didn't have breakfast and didnt get any photos as it was so wet after the big flood.
