I don't know what all the negative reviews are about. Chances are you are visiting the area to enjoy the nightlife on a budget and need somewhere to collapse afterwards so don't expect the same services offered at the Hilton. With that being said the service here is still great with the front desk willing to help with any reasonable requests and very friendly. As an example I left 2x big bags in their reception for the whole day and returned to them safe and untampered with. The pool is nice and the gym is a hotel gym so you get what you get. The rooms are a decent size and there to serve a purpose. Sleep (or not), shower and store your stuff. The breakfast is fresh and tasty too. Can't complain at all.

EDIT - This hotel response makes no sense, just follow the rules ?? What does that mean, the room was dirty upon check in. It's supposed to be CLEAN when you first check in. Maybe accept Responsibility instead of trying to think of a cheeky reply... Like many hotels in Thailand, it's never like the pictures.  Maybe when it opened many years ago but they don't update.  It's run down the pool area does not look like the photos, they have no rooftop bar it's just a wall now.  When we went into the room we noticed a half empty water bottle in the fridge and a half used shampoo bottle in the shower.  Makes you question if they actually clean the rooms or not.  The aircon barely worked and it's seen better days, pieces of it are missing,  so sleeping was uncomfortable when you're sweating all night.  The bed is rock hard. Holes in the wall where electrical sockets should be, I filled with tissue as I was nervous anything could crawl out, we also heard what I can only assume was a rat in the celling, scratching and squeaking. We had to bang on the celling to get it to move on. We stayed as back packers so the standards are expected for us.  But do not come here with your kids or if you are only on a holiday because this is hostel standard. Also it's abit of a walk from everything, you can get closer

Booked 8 nights but ended up staying 1 and left the room to find another hotel. When arriving at the hotel and getting out of the taxi I thought we had come to the wrong place it looked so run down and dirty, going to check in at reception we were told we would have to walk 15 minutes for the breakfast we had paid for as restaurant at the hallo hotel was closed or shut down I'm not sure which. We had a room on the 3rd floor but not at the hallo hotel another building in front of the hallo, there was no elevator so had to carry suitcases up the stairs. Then going in the room there was a horrible smell, safe didn't lock, doors to the balcony didn't lock properly, toilet was dirty, Aircon was terrible strange noises from inside the room and the mattress was so uncomfortable with stains on the bedding I would have been better sleeping on the floor it was the worse sleep I have ever had. Checked out after 1 night and moved hotel having paid up front for the hallo hotel lost my money, this is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, pay a little bit more it will be the best thing you do if you stay in Patong. Pictures of the Hallo Hotel are about 20 years old and misleading and should not be allowed when advertising... Don't waste your money you will definitely regret it....

This is a awful hotel. PLEASE AVOID. I was put in another building on the fifth floor with no elevator. The mattress is plastic so the sheets slide right off. The toilet was broken. The water is a dirty brown so bought bottled to clean my teeth. The TV doesn’t work. You have to carry your safe key on a hotel key ring so if you lose it, the finder has your room number and safe key. I have been bitten by termites. The pillows are mouldy. The communal areas are not clean and the room is slightly cleaner. The manager was rude. So rude. I tried to resolve the issue calmly but he just shouted and told me to go. He then suggested I broke the TV and toilet despite me raising the issue with three minutes of checking in. I spoke to my Booking Agents and this hotel won’t pick up the phone to them so disrespect is a common thread.

I would say is a good hotel , just not very well maintained. Things may change all soon. One of the buildings has 5 floors , but no elevator, which may cause problems Also most people are saying they are not happy about room size . Or confort within , or some no balcony , or no windows too.

I will not recommend it for Couple. Although If you are solo traveler then it's good for you. Pros - Clean, Good Breakfast, Near to famous locations, Staff is Profesional. Cons - very Small room, Ac not working properly, No lift if you get high floor, Not good for couple as room is too small and you cannot enjoy your holiday. Overall ambience inside is negative. I will recommend it for Solo travelers.

Room was disgusting. Paid at the front desk and went upstairs to find a filthy tiny room with cum stains on the bedding and pillows and a mouldy shower, half of which was just bare cement with no tiles. Asked to see another room and it was just as bad. There was no way we were staying there, I asked for a refund and the girl at the front desk put me on the phone to the ex-pat owner. He told me to go screw myself and that he was keeping my $500. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

The pictures in the Airbnb website for this property ARE NOT the pictures of the actual rooms. They Can’t be. I paid 200 ThB to upgrade to the “top quality room” and I was very, very disappointed with the room. We did not stay even one night. We went in the room only enough time to make another reservation on my iPad, then left the place. If they put the pictures of the actual rooms I would have NEVER booked that stay. The double size beds are not double size, they are two twin beds side by side with hard as rock cheap mattresses. On a vacation we need a good night sleep….an uncomfortable bed will not be good for that. The ONLY compliment we have for this property is the two people at the airport in charge of our transportation to the hotel, they got a good tip.

We initially arrived at the hotel at about 10.30 pm, so we were super exhausted. Although the staff were super kind and friendly and helpful, the rooms looked absolutely nothing like the photos. The hotel itself shouldn't be classed as a hotel - it was more of a hostel. In hindsight, we should've been more careful when booking to check the photos as the bathroom wasn't very spacious and the rooms were small. The staff were very pleasant and kind, however. The bed was very very hard - almost like it was made with cardboard. We spent the entire night researching other places to stay, and within a day had booked a different resort and checked out although we initially had 11 nights booked. We were so exhausted from our terrible night's sleep we couldn't be bothered getting our money back - pretty disappointing experience.

They cleaned our rooms when we told them not to, our room building didn't have an elevator so we had to bring luggage all the way up and down. The manager is unfriendly, keeps tabs of every gram of sugar used, wouldn't spare any extra even if you didn't collect complimentary items for a couple of days. The shower is out of control, there is either boiling hot water or cold water, nothing in between, and the speed/ pressure of the water changes randomly. If you were to take a shower, the water might literally go out of the room because of that Good location though I'll give that.

Excellent place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable. AC was always functional and the location is also very very good. There is a small restaurant linked with hotel that has great food. Waiter even took care of me one day when i was sick. When i extended my stay, they even gave me a free upgrade to a nicer room. Really love this place and will be back again 100%

I am amaze to see the reviews and the stars that the people gave this hotel. My experience is totally different. The hotel rooms are too small and the bed is very uncomfortable. The washroom is too small. The cabinets in the room are not well maintained. The hotel is not atall at a good location. Atleast not for the family. The good hotel provides u the menu at room....but here we got the list stating about if break this or that we ll charge u this much of money and the first one was if the bedsheets got blood stains we ll charge u 2000 but......that gave me the feel that I am in 3rd grade property. And the owner provides the room for one night stand or some this like this. When I was staying there I myself saw some people using the property for the same. Really really disappointed. The reviews are totally fake . Not atall a good place to stay for family.

It was a different room from the picture It's very small for two people On the 3rd day, he asked me to replace the towel But the housekeeper gave us only one towel. We asked for two because there were two of us, but they were very unkind Isn't it natural for the hotel to replace towels? This was the most unpleasant experience in Phuket

In my own recommendation I would love to give them a 5 star review. There are a few things that need some upgrading. But we chose to stay there for 4 months. Beautiful pool with a view and great service providers.

The manager didn’t return me the key security deposit even after requesting him to transfer. While returning the key, they took the key and didn’t even mention about the deposit. We talked a lot stil no mention. I forgot to ask for deposit since I was in hurry but it was Hallo Patong staff’s’ responsibility as they collected the deposit without forgetting, they should return the same without forgetting. They cheat people. When I remembered about the deposit, I was in Krabi. I asked them to please return the money by transfer in any mode but they declined. They are cheaters, cheating tourist if you are a little unmindful. They are not good people.

3rd floor, good sized room. Great, efficient friendly house cleaning staff . Efficient friendly cafe, bar staff. Very good fresh made food . Pool on roof top very clean and relaxing area, not big, but big enough. Reception staff friendly and helpful, slight issue with one, but think it was language barrier issue. Local cafes and food market close by. Nice 15 minutes walk to Bangla Rd area, so night life noise does not cause an issue. Stayed 7 nights, returning in 11 days for further 7 nights . Good comfortable Hotel for price . You get what you pay for.

the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from bangla road, nearby are 7/11 and a few restaurants. the rooms, equipped with tv, aircon, fridge and balcony, are spacious and clean enough even if the structure needs some renovation. pleasant rooftop pool, welcoming and knowledgeable staff who speak English. very competitive price

Unfortunately even though our stay was fine I cannot rate any higher, as we pre-paid online for an airport pick up which never turned up. This was stressful after a long flight and went out of pocket to make our own way there. We explained and asked for a refund via Airbnb that we booked on, which I got a blunt response ‘allow 7-14 days for refund’. I never received the money and have been ignored ever since. 👎🏻

We had a room from the street side and we have to sleep with our headphones due to the big noise from the street. The bed was hard like a rock and there is no elevator in the building so if you have a room on the 7th floor you have to carry your luggage. We checked out after one night and changed hotel instead of staying in Patong 2 nights.

Staff were friendly as usual but we had air-cond issues in one of the rooms we booked and the repair works took one day to get it sorted. At times in the middle of the night, it can be noise with the passing by tuk tuk. Of course the room looks a bit less attractive than the photos. You can find the almost 24hours restaurant in front of the hotel which is super convenient. The room with breakfast in the hotel restaurant have only 2 to 3 choices for breakfast but the portion is relatively big. However I enjoyed my stay there as it was not as busy as the bangla street areas.

Liked the place and pool was nice on the roof but paid extra to have kitchen in room and the stove couldnt even boil water or fry an egg! Complained to reception daily about only having warm water in shower, pool of water on bathroom floor, stove not working and last day no internet the whole day and night. The reception responded nicely but nothing was done.

For me this hotel has the best location in the center of everything and you get a good night sleep because it’s away from the noisy streets and nightlife but within reach in a few minutes walk. The bed was so comfortable and the shower works well. You get cleaning everyday and it has the best rooftop pool with a 360 view of the mountains around Patong. The management responds to your needs and inquiries ASAP. I would recommend this hotel and I will stay here again if I come back to Patong. Thank you Hallo Patong Hotel. :)

three years ago we came to this hotel and it was clean and tidy however this year we were disappointed with the dirt and dust that was everywhere . The room smelled bad and the bathroom was dirty both in the shower and sink. But worst of all she had cracked tiles in the bathroom and we hurt our foot. dust was everywhere. We paid for two nights but left after the first day! I advise the hotel to fix the tiles and do a little more cleaning!

i made my booking through agoda. as shown in pictures, room was supposed to be big enough to accommodate two peoples very easily but that was not the case. it was very small room, completely opposite to what was shown in the pictures, located at 3rd floor of the building and no lift facility was available. i was left with no option other than to carry my two suitcase to reach my room. In the next morning, i realized that bath shower is not working properly. i complained the same to the hotel staff and fortunately they fixed it.

It was not a pleasant stay at Hallo Patong Hotel in Phuket. The AC was not able to cool the room properly, and we were sweating through the night till early morning. There was 1 man at the reception who was little rude to answer any of our questions. There was no shower in the washroom and only a hand shower and no tap. Water was not coming out through all the holes in the hand shower, more than 50% holes were blocked. After taking bath the water was getting clogged at the bottom and took long time to clear so that the next person can take bath. The most shocking thing was that we got room on the 4th floor but the building does not have any lift. We had to carry our trolleys and bags through the steps on our own. Definitely I would not recommend anyone to stay.

Accidentally locked key in room went downstairs to get spare key the attitude the guy at reception gave was terrible after half an hour found spare key the bed was like concrete. However the staff in the restaurant was amazing anything they could help with they would and the food was great going back in September won’t be staying at hotel but go and say hello to staff at restaurant and have dinner

This 7 floor 3-star hotel is located on the quieter part of Soi Kor Road. The rooms are clean and they look as advertised on the photos online. The reception is open 24×7 and they allowed me to check in before their scheduled time of 1400. However, I was initially not given the room that I had booked. When I showed them that I had booked their hotel weeks in advance, I was eventually given my booked room (Deluxe Room with Balcony) on the 6th floor. I stayed here for one week. The hotel is very affordable and great for long term stays. Housekeeping comes by every afternoon to make your room, restock it with 2 water bottles and coffee. Hot water is available for shower 24×7. My room was equipped with a safe box, TV and a minibar too.  The hotel did not keep handwash in the rooms, so I bought that from the Big C nearby. There is a small restaurant at the entrance. The hotel is <200 meters away from the Big C Jungceylon supermarket and a 7-11. The hotel also offers rental bikes at modest rates (200-300 THB per day). It is ~1km from Bangla Walking Street. It is walkable to most spots in the Patong area. There are several taxis that stand near the hotel too. If you are looking for a good rest away from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach, this is the place to stay!

the position is good and not so far from the center , the room is good .I have chosen the mountain view. In this period the prices are really good and they kindly upgrade my room for free. I really apreciate the staff and they clean the room everyday ,I like the pool on the rooftop .

Loved it, 4th time staying here. Great location. Has changed a little with with useful shops around be closed due to the Pandemic but I'm sure that will bounce back in time. Staff were the best. Helpful, happy and up for a laugh. Amazing little restaurant downstairs. I will be coming back again for sure.

My third time staying here, really good location , clean rooms , friendly staff. Kept my luggage whilst I went to Australia for a few days and allowed me to check in early on return. We will be stating here again why we go to Thailand next year. Many thanks to all the staff for a very enjoyable stay
